Thank me later! Checked in here on my birthday and my girlfriend and the staff arranged a very nice surprise for me. Every staff was very warm, friendly and really took the time to attend to our needs. This is abt 1km to sabang or 7mins bu bike. But man... so worth it given the condition of the sabang port vs the quiet and very relaxing area of Edgewater. Their rooms are clean and the bed is so comfy and inviting. Their food is great too! Special shout out to Jeff, Rhea, Shayne and the rest of staff!

Edgewater is very good. Location has a great view looking out the bay. It is just 5 minutes from Sabang beach. Most Sabang beach hotels are very noisy because of the bars. Edgewater on the other hand is quiet. Service is great. We were greeted with cold towel and fresh juice when we arrived. The pool is perfect for little kids. Room is spacious and clean. Owner Richard is very friendly and makes sure the guests are all ok. Dive masters are very professional. We had a super great time! Sabang is full of lousy hotels. But edgewater completely changed my perception. I think it’s the best resort in town. I forgot my passport at the resort and they manage to deliver it to Manila for us! Edgewater is a great, quiet place”
Before making the reservation I was concerned that as a dive resort it might be too noisy. Totally not the case! Very quiet and secluded with excellent staff. Small dive boat is based at the resort - all gear is loaded on the boat for you. I never saw more than 6 divers aboard the boat at one time. Dive instructor (Julienne) is an awesome person - we return to dive with her year after year. Excellent pool on site for intro to scuba training. Trike takes you to both Sabang or Muelle (towns) in 15 minutes. Food was wonderful and served alfresco overlooking the bay. No early morning noise from boats, trikes, or roosters. Two small kayaks on site for exploring the mangroves. Manager is on site every day and gets things done quickly.

Great hotel”
We loved this tranquil spot in Puerto Galera. The food was very good and way better than some 5star properties in BGC. The room was very clean and very comfy. Well done for all the efforts for our dear planet (no bottled water, no disposable table napkins....) But above all, thank you for taking good care of us; special thanks to Jeff with an outstanding "CAN DO" attitude... and the rest of the team.

Very good”
We enjoyed our first stay here. The place is a little secluded. If you enjoy being alone in a quiet place, this is the place for you. A wonderful view especially during sunset. The people are very nice and accommodating. The second time we stayed here, their garden was a little messy because of a recent storm. Also, I wish the internet was a little faster. But overall, we had a great time.

The entire stay was awesome. My kids love the staff, Ate Melay and Kuya Glenn specially. Owner was welcoming and nice. Food was beyond our expectations. Although we were upgraded to nice room the pillows didnt smell so good. Too soft for me and my husband. Overall was amazing. Hope to see edgewater again.

Regret to the max”
as what the title said, me and my girlfriend felt so regretted when we realize we only booked here for just 1 night! And always been ask by my girlfriend if we could stay for another night regardless we already booked another room at white beach for the following day. We were greet warmly by the owner, Richard when he saw us walking to the resort.Then we were welcomed with a plate of complimentary welcoming fruits and drinks which is very lovely as we were exhausted from the trip from Makati to the resort. Also the Resort Manager, Paul , brief us about what can we do during our stay in Puerto Galera. while one of the staff, Marga, brief us about what can we do during our stay in Edgewater. To cut the remaining review short, The room - Tip Top comfort, just the soundproof are not that perfect. The facilities - they have spa and scuba diving, and also complimentary kayaking which me and my girlfriend enjoyed. The environment - perfect for a relaxing trip! enjoyed the starry night

Exceptional”
Fantastic diving. Rose and her team at the dive shop were incredibly supportive and accommodating. As a beginning diver, Rose and her team made it very smooth to complete my open water dives. ALL the staff at Edgewater were friendly, welcoming and went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The room we had was bigger than we thought. Food was fresh and wonderful. Except for a couple of meals, we ate and drank exclusively at the resort. Menu was sufficiently broad. Try the chef's daily specials. The staff at Edgewater arranged a scooter rental for us. We rode it to Talipanan-Aninuan Beach (public walkway through Aninuan Beach to get to Talipanan Beach. Worth the travel. Beautiful, quiet beach. We plan to return to Edgewater in the new future.

Exceptional”
We had a wonderful time in Edgewater Resort over the last weekend. The resort is located in a very quiet area. The rooms and amenities were very clean. The transportation arrangements were all very smooth with car and nice boats. All questions were quickly replied. Staffs were very kids friendly. Food was excellent! Definitely highly recommend it to my friends. Scuba diving coach was wonderful with my 11 year old son who had his first diving experience in the open water. Can't wait to go back again!

Absolutely perfect get away”
If you are looking for a quiet location with a personal touch then this is the ideal place. We were most impressed by the hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. Everyone knew everyone’s names. It was also small enough to meet and get to know other guests too. The place has a very nice pool. The food there was of high quality yet at a very reasonable price. We actually didn’t find any need to leave the resort during our 3 night stay. We went diving almost every day and the diving was great, the dive masters were very good and we had the luxury of returning straight to the comfort of our resort right after dives to rest and have a drink. The beds were very comfortable and the showers very good. The only slight issue we had was finding a way to hang all our wet gear. The spa is outdoors and there is sometimes an issue with smell and the lack of privacy. But all in all we had an excellent time there and we are already planning our next visit!

A wonderful stay”
We stayed 6 nights here at the Edgewater and I can highly recommend it. Clean, food good and breakfasts more than adequate for us. Pool is lovely and clean! We hired a scooter through the resort and found this was good fun and we were able to see a bit more of Puerto Galera and surrounding villages. I highly recommend this resort

Just perfect”
I stayed with my wife and son at Edgewater resort for a long weekend and it was just perfect. The room was big and everything brand new. The sunset view was amazing. Breakfast was really nice and we had dinner twice too which was one of the best I ever had in the Philippines. Made 2 dives and did an underwater photography course with Paul who manages the dive shop. Just amazing. Will definitely stay here again!

Great boutique hotel with own dive center”
A perfect boutique hotel where everything is right. Beautiful rooms, delicious food, great staff, nice swimming pool. The location could not be better: in the middle of the mangroves, away from the crowds, but Sabang Beach only 5 minutes away by tricycle. The resort has its own dive center, with brand new renting equipment and experienced dive staff. There is also a 9 holes golfcourse nearby. From Manila the resort is easy to reach by seaplane (a 25 minutes awesome flight with Air Juan). We can recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

Great hospitality of the resort team. when we stepped in the resort, the staff welcomed us with fresh juice/fruits and kindly gave us a tour of the resort. The resort seats by the bay with beautiful view overlooking the water. The dive guide was very kind to provide us with useful information of the area and diving insights. Room was comfy and clean. My piece of paradise”
You know when sometimes you look at pics online for possible hotel destination and just be disappointed how it doesn't match you expectations? well... Edgewater is waaaay better than what I expected! The experience we had from the moment we arrived has been phenomenal. We feel so taken care off like never before. It's like family here. The hotel is beautiful. Clean, simple and elegant. This will definitely be my piece of paradise from now on. If you guys a quiet relaxation to unwind from your daily schedule this is it. The view on the deck is to die for. A gem in Puerto Galera ”
This feels like luxury compared to other places in Puerto Galera. Staff were exceptionally kind taking care of everything including return ferry tickets and a sudden lack of toothbrush. The food selection was ample and of quite good quality although must say not as good as other reviews of the place suggested. Only small negative point relates to additional charges for tours arranged through the hotel. Of course very convenient but much more than if you arrange a car or tricycle yourself.
