Great location”

We stayed one night at Edgewater Palms and it was not long enough. The location was perfect right across the road from the water and within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The apartment was just like being at home. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom to give us more room to move around. It was such a lovely surprise. We will definitely be back in the future but for a lot longer.

Spectacular, spectacular, spectacular ”

I stayed here for 5 nights with my Goddaugther on out first trip to Bay of Islands and from the minute we arrived the service was second to none. The apartment was beautiful with a view to kill for and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. An amazing stay in a quite incredible part of the country. Loved every second.

Very good”

Nice size condo for a family. Clean and with every thing one needs to be comfortable. Out of the Edgewaters hands but was very noisy from parting at the beach and near by restaurants till the early morning hours. Didn’t get much sleep. No other complaints.

Lovely Hotel”

We loved this hotel. It was very spacious and elegant and very well appointed. Our only criticism was there was no air-conditioning. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and my husband and I stayed in the second bedroom. It was quiet hot and stuffy in the night and there was no window that we could open to let in fresh air. We would have appreciated some air con. Also the pool was too cold for us to swim in.

Overnight stay to visit the sights”

We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater and have no complaints. The tariff was reasonable for the quality of the hotel, although I am surprised that they rate themselves as 5 star. The hotel was conveniently located and had ample parking. I would be happy to stay here again.

Exellent Hotel”

The Admirals View room is two bedroom 2 bathroom. The size of the lounge,kitchen,dining area was huge. Excellent facilities. Wonderful outlook over the pool that runs through the middle of the complex. Excellent for families and across the road from the sandy beach.

Relaxing”

Great spot. Fantastic swimming pool but water is freezing in autumn. Parking a little tight with exit door requiring a some driving gymnastics to get out. Originally designed as residential apartments so fully kitted with full size kitchen, hobs, fridge, washing machine and dryer. Only thing lacking is decent heater or heat pump as winter will be cold. Ensuite is good size but vanity is a little small. Hot water cupboard acts as drying cupboard which is a bonus as is the walk-in wardrobe. BBQ available but no spa pool (still on brochure). A little noisy with single glazing glass and a lot of noise from upstairs (surprisingly as concrete floor).

Great location and a place to chill!”

Stayed the night on Saturday. Was happy with the room, it was clean and had everything we needed. Also liked that it was a short walk to the main street of shops/restaurants and the wharf. Would be nice to visit again in summer to make the most of the great location and pool.

Exceptional”

Very good place to stay, great location, short walk to towm centre. Room is clean, kitchen is well furnished. Beds are bit small for 2 adults, next to a bar, a bit noisy at weekend.

Good location, but small rooms”

We were disappointed with our room as it was located at the very back of the property which although had some sea views also looked over the garbage bins of neighbouring properties, we understood that we would get a standard room as this was a discounted rate but feel that the 5 star rating for these rooms was very misleading.

Nice on the outside but very tired on the inside”

The host and staff are lovely and so helpful. The pool and outside areas are nice. However, the inside of the 2-bed apartment was very tired, brown, and smelling musty, with mould on the blinds. Not 5–star by a long shot.

this accommodation was impeccably clean with everything you could want after a long drive. easy walking distance to restaurants,shops and tourist information centre. highly recommend.

Nice view but noisy bar nearby”

Everything was nice and great, but there is a noisy bar neighbour right next to the hotel which was quite distracting.

as a qmark five star motel, no welcome fruit,no milk,no body lotion.! Didn't clean the room after first day didn't replace the towel! Very disappointed！
