If you don't speak Thai, this could be an adventure. Friendly staff but hardly any English, very cheap. Also the GPS coordinates provided brought me to a farmhouse. The guesthouse is actually about 2 kilometers north, there's a sign where the road makes a sharp turn to the south (or west, depending on which direction you are coming from).

We arrived late in the evening and due the lack of taxis or public transport it was a bit of a hassle to get to the resort, but the people of Kui Buri are very helpfull. The next day we wanted to see the national park Kui Buri, and Pehechon the owner arranged this with his son in law (Pop) and brought us (1h ride) for a compensation to the park which was very convenient. The room we had was nice, the sea is very close. On walking distance there is not much to eat but we had the luxury to buy a meal in the resort.

Sehr toller Aufenthalt in Kuiburi”
Der Aufenthalt im Eiamsiri Resort war hervorragend. Insbesondere ist hier zu erwähnen, dass wir uns bei der Leitung der Anlage (Pop) sehr gut auf Englisch verständigen konnten und dass uns dieser bei jeder erdenklichen Frage oder Bitte umgehend geholfen hat. So wurde zum Beispiel innerhalb von einer halben Stunde am ersten Tag ein Motorroller besorgt. Genauso schnell wurde für uns ein lokaler Guide (Mioo) und der Besuch der nahen Nationalparks oder die Rückreise nach Bangkok organisiert. Schade war, dass der sehr nahe gelegene Strand (ca. 300m vom Resort) etwas gepflegter hätte sein können, allerdings schmälerte dies die Qualität des Gesamtaufenthaltes keineswegs. Schlussendlich fand ich es sehr schön, dass in Kuiburi und der umliegenden Region zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes kaum westliche Touristen anzutreffen waren. Insgesamt empfehle ich sehr gern einen Aufenthalt im Eiamsiri Resort und insbesondere eine Tagestour mit Mioo (ich hoffe, der Name ist richtig geschrieben)in die nahegelegenen Nationalparks.

We hadden op de Google map gekeken en op die plek gezocht. Niets. Een buurtbewoner gevraagd. Hij bracht ons naar de school, daar was een lerares die Engels sprak en zij legde uit dat we twee kilometer terug moesten fietsen. De weg erheen is een griepzooi. Je kunt haast niet geloven dat je goed zit. Het is heel basic allemaal maar voor 500 baht (de eenvoudige kamer) bed, tv, fan, bankje en koude douche moet je ook geen wonderen verwachten. Schoon en netjes is het zeker.
