Amazing beautiful great location great staff”
We arrived too early for check in. The staff held our bags for us while we went out for food. The hotel was in a great location in the heart of Barcelona. The interior was amazing and a sight to behold. Our room was very clean and came with some amenities. We had a great stay and will certainly return here when we come back to Barcelona

Lovely stay, perfect location ”
We stayed there 4 nights and lived it. The hotel is amazing, you feel like in a Palace, the staff is very polite and the location is absolutely perfect, close to everything (shops, bars, restaurants, the bus to the airport). The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The only thing that I can complain about is that the cleaners were very loud every morning, smashing doors constantly. But other than that, I can totally recommend the hotel.

Great Hotel in Barcelona ”
Staff were very friendly and helpful. 2 mins to nearest Subway station. We walked to all the major sights and had a great time in Barcelona. Plenty of really good places to eat nearby. Obama pub next door great if you like live music.

Facilities fabulous, however no bar or restaurant, but facilitate drinks in salon by concierge, be care to ask not to be placed beside a young family as a baby was in room next door an woke us up at 1am , then again at 6am as walls seem thin. But otherwise a fabulous hotel and location

Location location location. Amazing staff and always anticipating your needs to help you make the best experience from your visit to the city. We arrived on new year’s night and they were fully booked for the special dinner. They booked us a dinner in an excellent nearby restaurant at a reasonable price from where we could walk to the new year’s fireworks celebration. All effortless, seamless and gracefully. I can’t commend any highly the personnel of this hotel.

Please be warned, it was at the time of covid so is a sorry situation for any business right now, so i feel a little bad to write this MIXED REVIEW, but however as much as enjoyed the beautiful reception area, its glory days are truly over and this is not a very modern hotel, it could be refurbished with the same style and updated more it would be stunning, but its so big that it would take so much money to overhaul this space, however if you're ok with this kind of faded beauty for the OFFER available its a really good choice, but if youre looking for really modern, classical bland like the chains or a boutique type hotel, you will be disappointed. We were given a suite for three persons, it was large size, with thankfully a fantastic updated bathroom with nice cosmetics, but the room was very seventies in style , and smelled musty and of bad drainage. The Bedding and comfort of the bed was fab though and happy to have a coffee machine, shame there is no mini bar, but room service is available. The TV was terrible, couldnt even find a good Spanish or English news channel, I had to watch preseidential race in French !!! and only one worked. Sadly we had terrible weather for the rooftop but also nothing like the photos whoch probably summer time better vibes, though the vistas are awesome of the city. Cannot fault the staff lovely and accomadating and breakfast waitress adorable and all correct for free continental breakfast / serving with protocols. So all in all good, but i wouldnt say this is a four star hotel i'm afraid, though its as clean as an older hotel could be and very central.

Location was fabulous and near the major shopping brand and you can drop your stuff and back to shopping again! Best tapas is just 1 min walk at the hotel.

The place is in a grand style and the rooms are fine. Roof garden has sweeping views over the city. Best staff I have ever experienced anywhere and in the world.

Underwhelming and old”
Great location, but old. Like, so old they have physical keys. You have to pick up every time you enter the building and drop off every time you leave the building. Plugs in room don’t work or only work when lights are on which is a drag, and severs of my devices died mid day because of this. We had to rely on charging bricks to reliably charge our devices. Breakfast looks great in pictures and even had great reviews online, so I was super excited for it, but in real life, it was super disappointing with cold runny eggs, underwhelming pastries, and stale cereal. Rooftop bar is basically an empty table with a grill at which you can’t order anything. Rooms are old style with old decor. “Courtyard” view like in many hotels is basically a view of a glorified elevator shaft open to the sky. The worst part was that the rooms were super hot with no air conditioning. The thermostat said there is a 2 mode AC system so either the cold is always on as in the summer or the heat is always on as in the winter. So when we went in the winter we turned off the fans to prevent further warm air entry but this didn’t work. Somehow the hallways were really nice and cool though so we just had to leave our hotel door and the courtyard windows open at all times which meant no privacy and hearing everyone else in all the other rooms conversations and smelling their smoke. Overall would really not recommend, but the location is really fantastic and the price is good for a 4 star hotel. Just FYI it’s just very dated and this may affect your stay. PS, rooms were super clean and the bathroom and shower were among the best we experienced in Spain.

Good location old hotel”
The hotel is situated along the main shopping belt and next to the metro which makes the location superb. Hotel is generally clean, though you have to request for a kettle. Interior wise all quite dated and the pool is quite small but sufficient I guess.

Best Location, near bus station, metro (sub-way) walking just 3 min. settle in the central of shopping street. near minimart, many restaurants, bakery shops, can walk to La Rambra and market. / nice hotel, cleanliness. there is amenity in the bath room, but no toothpaste. bathroom is big. 2 little bottles of water in the room per night. no slipper. there are space in room. elevator very slow (walk maybe faster). guest must to drop key at counter every time go outside. body lotion, shampoo & conditioner are very good and fragrant. no parking space at the hotel. taxi can drop in front of hotel. (I booking the room without breakfast). I will return to stay here again.
