What can I say. The Caravelle Saigon Hotel has history dating back to 1959. Its original part of the hotel remains with the new addition that was added on years ago. I booked a five day stay in the Signature King room and was upgraded to the Signature Premium or Studio upon check-in. Our room had the view of the Opera House and was beautiful with spacious bathroom and room. The bed was very comfy with a pillow menu to choose from. Breakfast, evening canapes with happy hour drinks and non-alcoholic drinks were included with the Signature room. Between breakfast and the evening canapes, there was no room for lunch as the food was delicious and full-filling. Everyone who works at the Caravelle is outstanding with the five star glove service and personality exceeding my expectations. My husband and I have enjoyed talking to the people who work there as they are all so nice. I would definitely recommend an overnight stay at the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights in December 2019. Superb location right in the heart of District 1, next to the Opera House, and within walking distance to many attractions. Room was in the Opera Wing and was newly renovated and clean, with superb views of the city. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym and large swimming pool. Last but not least, the rooftop bar is steeped in history - it was the watering hole of choice for war correspondents during the Vietnam War - and a perfect place to watch the sunset over a beer or cocktail (try the Caravelle Terrace Draft!)

One of my memorable hotel stays during my Vietnam cross country trip, the hotel location is amazing overlooking the main Opera house and cross roads at one of the main Saigon arteries, The room was immaculate and every attention to detail including the recyclable bins and toiletries 'well done'. I stayed at the executive room which granted access to the club lounge where drinks were served every evening and quite an extensive choice. What i really want to point out was the service and the team on the ground from the bellboy, the reception desk , the wonderful concierge to the team serving breakfast at the restaurant, they were amazing, attentive and prompt, they really made every effort to re-fill empty cups of tea, offer the right information , provide the needed information at the desk about the room and the hotel. I will be visiting Veitnam again as its an amazing country and the Caravelle Saigon will certainly be on my itinerary !

Stayed at the Caravelle for Christmas holidays to attend their Christmas brunch. Everything was wonderful. I've been to many holiday feasts hosted by restaurants and hotels, but Caravelle's the best. Not only the wide variety of food was outstanding, but the dishes were delicious. The rooms are comfortable and cozy and the staff are sincerely friendly and very professional.

Booked here for the first 2 night and found the room is very nice, new, bright as they have renovated. Location is very good, next to opera house. Swimming pool, gym, sauna is good. So I continue to stay for another 6 night. Good breakfast and good seafood buffet dinner. Casino here, small but clean.

The Best 5-Star Hotel in Saigon”
My family and I have stayed in a good number of the 5-star hotels in Saigon and Caravelle has been the best stay for us. The room is fabulous with the best color theme I’ve seen but what really stands out in Caravelle is the friendly staff. Hotels that charge double the rate can learn a thing or two about customer service from the outstanding staff here. We’ll definitely be choosing Caravelle again on our next trip to Saigon.

A world class hotel in charming Ho Chi Minh City at an affordable rate. We spent three days in Saigon recently after having lived there years ago. The Caravelle is situated on the square opposite the beautiful Opera House. It is convenient to any number of restaurants and shopping. We picked up a deal on Agoda that made the stay even more satisfying due to the discounted rate. The staff are friendly and enormously efficient. The room was light and elegantly furnished. The roof top bar transports you back to a more gentle time. The lobby bar and restaurant provide great afternoon tea and respite from the noise of the street. The food and drinks weren't cheap but not outrageous either. I really like this hotel!

Availed their Cityscape promo. We checked in at 2pm and checked out at 2:20pm (next day). The room is spacious, neat, cool, comfy esp the pillows and bed. There are quite a few English channels in the TV. They also gave us free 2 glass bottles of water when we requested the next day. Everything is great except that there's no bidet in the toilet. We liked the swimming pool though for night swimming. Enjoyed our stay during weekday.

From checkin to checkout the staff were warm and helpful. We were delighted they recognized our wedding anniversary with a room upgrade facing the opera house, decorated bed, and cake & card. The hotel is in a great location. The gym was nice but the must use your nails to use the treadmills was a bit annoying. The only complaint would be about breakfast; the space seems cramped, crowded and chaotic and some things were never replenished.
