Didn’t live up to expectations from reviews”

Staff were wonderful and super friendly and helpful (although bombarding people with tourist info on check in is probably not a good timing......we would have appreciated that info more once we were settled in). Room was beautifully presented and clean but seemed very small given we had supposedly booked a 26sq room. Great location if you like the hustle and bustle of the city traders, which we did. Loved being able to open our windows for ‘fresh’ air and watching the traders going about their business. The big down to this hotel was the bathroom, it was antiquated and mouldy. We were worried the shower was going to fall apart and the toilet seat was unstable. We have stayed at similar priced hotels here which were far better presented!

Great location”

It is located near the train station and most of the banks and atm's. It's also near the shops, restaurants and cafes. The room we got is very spacious but doesn't have window and takes time for the water to get hot in the afternoon. Breakfast is ok, they have a lot of choices. There is a good spa nearby where we had a good massage.

we stayed in a superior twin - unbeknownst to us it was an internal room with no windows. as we were exhausted we decided to get an early night. we were woken several times by the smell of cigarette smoke - the internal ventilation system links the rooms and was obviously pumping the smoke up from the room below. wouldn't recommend- if you are going to stay make sure you have windows!

The hotel is very grand, beautiful design. The room is spacious, clean, functional. The wifi is very fast, very stable and very strong. However, the building has construction design flaw. Every time the staff moves table/chair on the 10th floor, my can hear it cloud from my 8th room. I moved to 6th next day. The noise still there but less. The echo seems travels throughout the building. So make sure you ask for room on the 5th floor !

Clean Spacious Room Well Appointed”

I only used this as a one night stop over to get to Hanoi from Laos. I chose location for proximity to bus and train stations. Room was well appointed spacious and very clean. Breakfast was also a wide choice.

Good sevice, clean and tidy room. the building is quite new but it´s not as beautiful as it is on the picture. I would recommend to my friends. If you don´t find a good hotel in Sam Son beach, it´s better to stay here in the centre of the city then go to the beach during daytime.

Nice hotel with bad staffs”

The hotel looks nice and clean. Sauna is free for guests. However, see no swimming pool there. Breakfast buffet is quite boring. At the 2nd time staying at the hotel, there was mosquito in my room. Staffs there are bad, ignorant and just gossip daily.

Convenient to train, false advertising, overpriced windowless rooms ”

We paid for a deluxe room which on agoda is advertised as having a balcony and a bathtub. Instead we got a stuffy windowless room, twin beds, no bath. The staff acknowledged that they were out of windowed rooms but wouldn't acknowledge that we were downgraded and didn't offer compensation. The windowless rooms are not nice and not a good value. It was nice that we could walk to and from the train. Breakfast was ok and the view from the breakfast room on the 10th floor is quite nice.
