Excellent hotel in the heart of Ikebukuro”
Excellent choice of hotel to stay when you are in Tokyo. Located in the heart of Ikebukuro, it is walking distance away from JR Ikebukuro station and is among many delicious eateries. Hotel's facilities were fantastic. It houses an indoor bath with carbonated water and guests can freely take the shower amenities. There are also free tea bags provided at the reception. As the hotel promotes environmental conservation, guests get snack incentives when they return unused toothbrush to the reception.

Stayed for a night with my friend great place”
My friend stayed in Japan for another day than we planned. And the reservation was set in a hurry (though I did get it in a cheap price) It would have been nice if I could have made it to the spa but we didn't have time. However, the staffs were friendly and the place was neat! Its also close to the subway but not too close that it is noisy(pretty quiet place!) The room was larger than I expected. Larger than the previous one that I've stayed in, in another hotel. If I come to Tokyo again, I look forward to going to the spa^^

Nice small hotel with amenities ”
Hotel is easily accessible and is clean with Hotel breakfast and hot spring facilities from 3pm to 9am. But room is very small and only have space to open one luggage. Not recommended if you have many luggages as there is no walking space even with one luggage. Check out time is strictly at 10am and u need to pay extra for extension until 12pm.

We loved this hotel for the 6 nights we stayed. If you don't like small and cosy hotel rooms, this is not for you. Very limited movement area in bathroom. Luggage storage under bed or in walkway into room. There was also one isolated incident where there was a tiny cockroach on the ceiling, which surprised us as the room was otherwise very clean. Had no issues with noise other than the usual corridor noise from guests. It has separate gender public baths. The hotel also provided some nice personal products in the lobby (face masks, sore muscle pads, hair ties etc). There's a public microwave & vending machine on lvl 2. Staff were helpful and friendly, English was good. Very close to Family Mart with Lawson & 7/11 within 5 mins. About a 10 min walk to JR Ikebukuro station. Note this isn't far from the red light district of Ikebukuro, but we were never once bothered or felt unsafe. Standard tourist visits to Ichiran, CoCo, Donki all within walkable distance. Will definitely stay again.

Apart from the reasonable price that caught my attention upon choosing my stay in Tokyo, I must say that the service which the hotel provides is really good. The staff are fluent in both English and Chinese. Upon your check in, there are some personal products which you can take eg. facial masks, make up remover etc. You may even choose a pillow which is suitable for you and take it up to your hotel room. What I absolutely love is that there is hot spring located within the hotel! Very satisfied!

1 Night stay was awesome!”
Only had 1 night here while I was catching a flight back home, but it was great! About a 8 min walk from the train station. Super clean and modern. Room was a great size and it was nice to have your own bathroom! Didn't have a chance to take a bath in the onsen but it looked nice! It's in a great location with lots of good shops and some amazing food just a few blocks away! They held my massive ski bag and luggage bag at the front after I checked out so that I could walk around the city before I had to catch my flight in the evening! Super friendly and accommodating staff. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Tokyo!! Thank you for a great experience.

Just as you said, it just takes some minutes from our hotel to Ikebukuro station, where a lot of shops and restaurants are located. The skyscraper Sunshine City, which includes a huge shopping mall, an aquarium, and a planetarium is not that far either. If you have a lot of luggage and need to go to Haneda Airport or Narita Airport we would recommend to take the shuttle buses which departures from Ikebukuro Sunshine Bus Terminal or Ikebukuro Station/West Terminal. They are really convenient! It is a pity that you did not have enough time to go to our public bath yet! The water we use is carbonated which has a lot of aesthetically benefits for your skin. In contrast to normal water it reaches deeper into your pores and helps cleanse your pores. Maybe next time you have enough time to check it out! We are looking forward to see you again!!
Good value business hotel near Ikebukuro station”
Very reasonable price with Japanese business hotel's standard, my family loves their onsen bathing and the pillow choices a lot. The staffs are all supportive and service minded. We stayed there during the Typhoon 19 period, and the hotel structure is so strong that we could stay safe and sound in the situation. The location is great, surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants.

This hotel is very efficient because it is close to Station. Room are small but facilities are good”
The good thing about this hotel is that it is very convenient and efficient it is quite close to the Station and there is a Family Matt and supermarket just beside the hotel. They provide good facilities such as the coin washing machine and a microwave. In addition the staff at the Super Hotel are very friendly. Although we had some miscommunication when checking in to our room, they still kept a friendly smile and tried talking it through. There is also a place where you are able to get 5 amenities or toiletries such as beauty and care products. They have a simple water spring available which is quite good to unwind after a busy day. The disadvantages is that the rooms are small and inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage or bags. Also some staff do not know how to speak English. Besides this, I would really recommend this hotel to everyone as it is a really good experience to have.

Great services, good hotel to stay in Tokyo”
The minus points; - there is quite some distance to walk to the nearest station (Ikebukuro) - the room is very small The rest are all great; - Breakfast is good, definitely a good value in expensive Tokyo - Free onsen (spa) available for guests - Free daily essentials for guests (razor, bath treatments, shoe polish, shaving cream, etc) just take them from the lobby - Free drinks at the lobby, always a welcoming refreshment after a tiring day - Staff are friendly and all there to help you out Is it a good hotel to stay? Sure it is! We are looking for an affordable place to stay in Tokyo, something other than net cafes, capsule hotels or dormitories. Super Hotel Lohas Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi offers what we wanted. For the prices we can overlook a little bit of walking everyday to and from the station, and the small room doesn't bother us as much since most of the times we are out anyway.

Nice place to stay at”
The staff is very nice and friendly. There are free items that can be collected at the lobby everyday (up to 5 items). The washing machine and dryer at the lobby works really well. Weighing machine and iron can be borrowed from the hotel counter. Unused disposable toothbrush can be exchange for a snack at the hotel counter. The room is quite small but it is just the usual Tokyo standards. The pillow is very hard but you can exchange or get extra pillows at the lobby. Breakfast can be improved - it is almost the same dishes everyday during my 1 week stay there. And the breakfast time ends too early at 0900hrs, but the area is not big enough accommodate the amount of people staying in the hotel (You need to reach the breakfast area by 0730hrs to avoid queuing for seats)

As you already said is our hotel close to Ikebukuro Station, which is one of the major transportation hubs in Tokyo. It takes six minutes to Shinjuku Station, twelve minutes to Shibuya Station and sixteen minutes to Tokyo Station by JR or subway lines. Next to the station there are also many department stores like the Tobu Department Store located on the west exit or the Seibu Department Store located on top of the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. We are sorry that the size of the provided room was a bit small. We use large beds in our rooms, because we want our guests to have a good night’s sleep! But we offer some bigger room types as well! Convenient and adequate”
The room is small in size but every furniture and item in the room are very well organize. There are a slot to keep suitcase under the bed, compact size trashcan, wall hanger for shoes and cloth hanger. The Onsen is also a plus. Room and Onsen are password operated. For some reason I couldn't go into the Onsen on the second day with the same password. Maybe they changed it everyday for security reason, I might have miss that part when the staff were explaining it. There are some bathroom amenities you can pick up near the check-in counter (before midnight). 5 pieces for ladies per day (hair cap, mask, hair lotion, cotton buds, hair rubber band, etc.) Just be aware that the breakfast time ends very early at 9 AM.

Great hotel!”
Great hotel over all. The Onsen was great. Be aware you cannot use the Onsen if you have tattoos however I have a small one that could be covered with a bandaid and that was fine. There isn't really anyone manning it though. The room was great, comfy and had a fridge and kettle. No microwave in the room however there was one in the hotel. The breakfast was average however there was alot of variety. There is a bunch of free toiletries for women at the front desk all were awesome, I even took some for the road.

Good bed for two persons”
We got room 912. We like the bed which is not too soft and larger than in other hotels in Japan of the same price range. The Front Desk ladies are beautiful and speak good English. Thanks for keeping our luggage for free after we checked out. The hot bath for Men is on the Lobby level in front of the elevator. The hot bath for Ladies is in front of the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Both lacks of privacy when we enter but when we are inside, it is good enough for a relaxing bath. Overall we enjoy our stay.

Great hotel with limited space!”
The front desk is friendly and helpful. Got staff can speak English so you don’t have to worry. Upon checking in, you can choose up to 5 amenities per day.. The laundry room is downstairs next to front desk.. The breakfast is really good but you have to go early to avoid long queues.. If you don’t have pending payment, you can just check out yourself without informing the front desk.. If you don’t use the toothbrush provided, bring it to front desk and they will exchange with small gifts (mini snacks)

Great option in Ikebukuro”
Second time staying here, ladies get 5 free small gifts every day, just select from side table near front desks. Hotel is around 7 mins walk from Ikebukuro Northwest exit right 20b next to Pronto restaurant. Slightly long walk if it’s cold... there’s a 24hr Don Don Donki just 3 streets away. Warning: the song really gets stuck in your head 😬 Room is small but clean, no room key just use pin. Carbonated hot spring is small but pretty nice. Love the breakfast selection, ability to select pillows and yutaka(浴衣)/pajamas. I realised LOHAS stands for “Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability” and it truly shows at this hotel. Lots of CN/HK/TW customers here as some famous HK blogger wrote an article about it. Fun experience and I fully recommend this place for leisure travellers.
