very nice bungalows on the beach”

Talkoo Beach Resort is a very nice option to those, who want to stay in a bungalow, but want to upgrade from the bamboo bungalow -level :) Bungalows are nice and clean, the pool is value for families with small children, and the beach is super. The only upside is that the restaurant does not work in an ideal manner. Food is very good, but running the restaurant is not very professional. All in all, we had a good stay, and I do recommend the place!

Beach front”

This resort is located o the beach at Khanom and has very good facilities. The breakfast is a simple buffet where they cater for the Islam clients with no pork served. The room had a big bed , flat screen tv , stone facing on bathroom walls( needs a good clean). The other facilities include a small gym , restaurant, swimming pool and beach front. It mainly caters to Thai clients however they welcome everybody.

Lovely hotel with warm service ”

I stay 1 night at Talkoo beach resort (Garden view bungalow). It's a very peaceful area and near the sea. The resort is lovely decorating, I like it very much and I love warm service with a smile & useful suggestions for travelers.

a must in the off season”

We went in June/July low season, but it hardly ever rained and we had the beach, pool and restaurant to ourselves ... it was great !! Nice food from their kitchen, a little expesnive but delicous. Suggest renting a motorbike to explore general area as tuk-tuks have not invaded the area yet. Nice rooms at reasonable price, internet worked well.

Noisy at weekends, read the small print”

Be careful booking this resort, Agoda does not tell you that many rooms are actually not in the resort at all but are across the road. The rooms themselves on this side are tired and unclean, TV has one channel, hot water barely works, only single beds, and there is no wifi. At weekends the place is packed with locals so there are beach karaoke parties with people coming back late at night making a lot of noise. The hotel allows many to stay in the same room so it is a very noisy place. Additionally the pool was so chlorinated that we had to get eye solution. Would not recommend.

Visited property before booking room and found the place acceptable, but after we booked the room we were told our room would not be in the resort but across the street. This was a weekend and the place filled up. The next night we were relocated into the resort. The breakfast was a modest buffet with cold fried eggs and other dishes with out warmers. They have the staff to cook you some fresh eggs but this is not offered. Nice beds and quiet bungalows. We did not appreciate how we were tricked when we booked the room.

Talkoo Beach Resort Garden Bungalows”

These bungalows are the lowest priced accommodation at this resort. There is little difference between the garden and the superior bungalows except the distance from the beach. The garden bungalows are located across the road from the main resort so a little walk for all the facilities and breakfast. The room was fitted with a king sized bed , air conditioning, an old style TV, hot water , fridge ( needed defrosting ) , The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were supplied. The breakfast is a buffet with some variety. As a non chicken eater nothing much for me except salad, toast ,cereal . The place was great for the weekend.

Peaceful Paradise ”

The bungalow was adorable. I loved all the wood and accents. The bed really comfortable. I loved the porch and wooden lounge chair. The beach is lovely and nearly empty, which was perfect. The restaurant food was delicious and the included breakfast was delicious. The last couple of days they didn't have the breakfast buffet but could order from menu. I'm not sure why they stopped it, maybe due to few guests. I went on a lovely full day tour by longboat to see pink dolphins, climbed a shrine island with great view, some other shrines, cave, fish spa on a beautiful river and lunch.

Overpriced”

We were excited to visit Khanom, but this hotel was a big let down. It seems like the hotel's best days were a few years ago. The whole place looks weather beaten and needs a facelift. We stayed in a beachfront villa, supposedly the best room. It was adequate, but no more than that. Firstly, the aircon is too small for the room, so it takes a very long time to get the room cool. The bed is hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The TV only has local channels. The WiFi doesn't work, although the hotel handyman tried very hard to fix it. The bathroom basin, shower head and landscaping had a musty calcium coating. Everything seemed very tired. The reception staff seem disinterested. We were also disappointed by the hotel charging more for local services (bike rental, laundry) than if we went directly. Finally, reception had to be reminded to return our key deposit, which we thought was shocking. There are some much better hotels along the beach, I would advise staying elsewhere.

Dirty swimminpool,no sunbeds”

Room was small,no hot water that you can make some coffee.old towels etc.my bungalow in garden is far away from reception and beach and bungalolows in the beach is behind the restaurant that you cant even see the beach.people dont talk english so its very hard to explaine something.Not my place,5 days was enought.

Wonderful Beach Location”

Proximity of the beach makes this hotel a wonderful experience. Original bungalows, only two cons if I may say, I am 192cm and the mirror was bolted for someone much shorter and the shower floor did not drain completely due to the location of the drain, but these are design flaws, nothing else.

My stay was relaxing and very enjoyable.”

This was my second stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach and the beach was very clean. I brought my two little dogs and it was just lovely. I come to Khanom to visit friends and get away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. Khanom is a great place to chill. Talkoo Beach Resort fits the bill if you want to relax on the beach and soak up the sun and the quiet.

We came to Talkoo Beach Resort to chill. It was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the beach was great. We came mid week with our two little dogs. Had the beach to ourselves. It was a very enjoyable experience we will stay here again. Khanom is a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I will definitely recommend this resort to my friends!

Perfect for relaxtion”

I really enjoyed my stay here, we had a nice quiet weekend mostly lounging by the beach and pool. The staff was very friendly and the food/service was just okay. I thought the wood decor and entire feel of the place was great. One of my favorite places to stay in Khanom!

good room, close to beach poor breaffast”

actually, the resort is big there are two side by having the road in between,but it's not very far from each other. the beach is great, love to walk on the beach, clean and beautiful. room is big with great toilet bed and window. the poorest is breakfast, it's very bad. i order thai breakfast and i request for orange juice, staff said, no orange juice is for American breakfast! the beakfast is poor, no taste very bad

reasonable overnight stay ”

The garden view rooms are quite far from the beach. Reasonable place for an overnight stay but will not recommend it for a holiday. It is not set in a great location and the bathroom was not very clean.

quiet, relaxing and peaceful”

The hotel was as it stated on the website, a quiet area in Khanom, close to the beach. Room was clean and reasonably small, but enough for us. The food in restaurant was disappointing as not as up to standards as other restaurants we have visited. Service was very slow especially as the restaurant was empty at the time

Close to beach and good parking”

Hotel normally offers discounts when booking directly, but not during Song Kran. Agoda price was cheaper than hotel price. Stayed in room closest to the beach, and parking right in front of the bungalow.

The owner makes this a great place to stay”

they brought us tons of extra food at breakfast. thai food for us to try! after dinnner they broughts us banana pancakes to try they say you eat, free, no charge. the food was continous our whole stay. wifi was great beach and pool were clean. location was good we rented scooters and were only 7 minutes fron everything. the thai hospitality was great.
