I only stayed for 2 nights, but I was extremely pleased with this hotel from the very moment I checked in. The lobby area was beautiful and I was greeted with a delicious cup of tea. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and helpful - all of them, always smiling which will put you in a good mood. The room was clean, spacious, and the interior design is lovely. The location is exceptional, very near the bus stop, Hoan Kiem Lake, convenience stores, pharmacy, plenty of restaurants/bars that you won't go hungry. The breakfast buffet was very nice too and starts very early in the morning, which is very convenient if you have a morning tour booked. I had a very early flight to catch on my last day and had to leave during breakfast time, when one of the staff found out he immediately offered to provide me a packed breakfast. During check-out, I only asked for directions to the airport-bus stop, but they got one of the staff to walk me there! No cons. Excellent value for money, book it now!

Good location, staff are excellent, good value”
Located close to lots of food, shops, salons, money changers. Staff are very polite and helpful. They helped cancel a Ha Long bay tour because there was no tour guide and booked a Viola cruise (same group as the hotel), which is recommended. Room selected is Deluxe Double with balcony which is large but a little bit noisy because it faces the street. Bed is comfortable and facilities are good. TV has many local channels and some English channels. Breakfast is good with enough selection. Recommended.

Everything is perfect”
As we arrived at night, we were caught by surprised from the outside thinking we have been cheated that picture is for illustration purpose only but it is not. Once we walked in to the lobby, everything looks so classy and clean. Reception and concierge were very attentive. Great service. My room is a bit small but it is reasonable for the price. Although breakfast has not much selection but it was good and enough. Note to hotel, our room 405 the door was faulty, quite hard to lock the door but we still managed ..

I stayed here 5 nights and had a great time. The staff here is very friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is great. I ended up taking a cruise that they recommend at Halong Bay and it was also great. The rooms are comfortable. Area felt safe. Breakfast was good. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again no problems. - thank you!

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel is not that big but nice decoration and vary clean. The staffs are so helpful and lovely. The hotel provide good breakfasts. If u wanna come to the hotel or go to the airport I suggest you to ask the staff becouse I get a good price from the hotel that cheaper than a taxi and grab, also hood car & clean. I really enjoy my stay at Viola Royal hotel & spa.

Excellent hotel in good location”
The hotel is well situated, elegantly furnished and has an amazing entrance foyer with a large fish pond under the glass floor. Our room was comfortable and we have enjoyed sitting on our small balcony looking down at the street below. The breakfast is good and the dining room has views over the old town neighbourhood. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great stay”
Very comfortable stay. And the location is quite good. Food is just downstairs and the security guard, although doesnt speak english, is still really helpful. One tip though. Contact the agent at least 4 or 5 hours before you arrive so they provide you with further details on access, as I had to wait a bit

The best one we've been to in Hanoi”
Before coming to Viola we had stayed in a few other hotels and they're not even close to quality/price ratio of Viola. Super clean, super helpful, located a mere 100m away from the pubs' street (a bit of noise because of that, but not too much, especially after 11 pm). Perfect breakfast as well!

Precious moment”
I stayed in this hotel for 3days and really enjoyed here. Thing that I impressed the most was receptionist , Mr.Trinh who help me and my gf a lot in Hanoi like map suggest good trip and he was a man with really good heart my last day in Hanoi he gave me a souvenir I really love how kind he was. If I have chance to go to Hanoi I will book this hotel again because of him

All the staff were very friendly, very kind and very helpful ... Especially Mr. Trinh 😊.. Thank you very much when he helped one of us who had problems with her leg .. Go to the hospital, get a taxi for her and so on .. Breakfast is the best Great location hotel .. easy to go anywhere 👍🤞😍

Clean and convenient hotel”
This hotel is in old quarter, it is within walking distance to many places of interest. The breakfast is good and bed is comfort. Most importantly, the staff in the hotel are extremely helpful and courteous.

Cool and cozy”
Excellent hotel. The receptionist Hoa who helped us with booking a restaurant was very helpful. She even made a call to the restaurant when we were late in order to secure our seat. The AC was extremely quiet, which is not common in VN. The bed is a true double bed instead of a called king with two single pushed together. Breakfast was a buffet but adequate. Will return next time in Hanoi

The location is perfect for sightseeing and food, the room is new, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful stay :) 100% recommended.

The room is clean, spaciest. The hotel location is excellent, right in the center of the old quarter downtown. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel. There is a night market and day wet market in walking distant.

Find a little store in front where locals queue up to buy a somewhat "fried tiny donuts with either meat or sweet stuff inside". They're cheap and awesomely delicious! Viola is amazing! The above info shared is just a bonus. We stayed in the room with balcony. You'll see and hear everything. Enjoy!

The reception people (Especially Alex), who were very friendly and gave us a comfort stay. Food is awesome here. Giang Cafe (which is famous for Vietnamese Egg Coffee) is just 400m walk from here.

Awesome Stay!!!”
The hotel was strategically located near the nightlife streets & tourist attractions. The most commendable thing about this hotel would be the staff. They were very welcoming, friendly, and really really kind. They allowed us to leave our luggage while we went to Halong Bay for an overnight trip. Also, they allowed us to use their facilities before going to the airport. Their airport transfer service was quick and efficient. Value for money is best! Would return if my family and I would go to Hanoi again. :)

The staff is friendly and helpful. He will help you to deliver those luggage to your room. The receptionist can speak fluent English. The room is clean and has beautiful decoration.
