Matt, the check in man, gave us heaps of info on the area, stored our bags while we did a day walk up Roy’s Peak. Clean rooms. Very good.

New and well equipped apartments ”

Very new motel apartments and well thought thru by the motel owner to setup and equipped the apartments. The only cons for us was the mattress was too soft for our liking. Other than this, it is a fantastic motel

I would like to say this is the best motel I’ve ever stayed in NZ. Newly built and furnished townhouse. Kind staffs and very modern design of the bathroom and kitchen. I like the TV so much and watched it for the whole night. 10 mins drive from the town center with beautiful landscape scenery and quite neighborhood. Strongly recommend!!!

Motel is located along the highway into Wanaka from Cardrona. Drive into wanaka takes only 5 mins. Quiet though close proximity to main road. A couple of nice restaurants around the area within walking distance. Room was kept immaculately clean and tidy everyday with everything kept back to its original place. Washer and dryer are coin-operated in the laundry room. Matt at the recep was extremely helpful, recommending places to go, providing updates on the weather, changing coins, etc. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here, the owners are just brilliant and super friendly, due to car trouble we didn't arrive until late at night and they stayed up to check us in even turned on the heater in our room for us! The rooms themselves are extremely well equipped, tidy, large and very comfortable. The bathroom is absolutely huge and the shower is great. Location is a tiny distance from town but has some stuff nearby. Well definitely stay here again, everywhere in Wanaka seemed more expensive than everywhere else we stayed so the price was reasonable. Considering how great a stay we had here would recommend it to anyone!

everything is perfect! beautiful rooms, its sad for us to have to cancel one rooms because they cannot accommodate 3 in a room as they do not have space to add an extra bed. it's a 5 mins drive away from town center.

Very clean and spacious apartment”

Very new and very nicely furnished with plenty of space and nice features. Use of a BBQ, and a kitchen with cooking utensils etc. Could have done with a few more basics, but in general very good. Good location if you have a car, but otherwise not ideal - about a 15/20 min walk into town. Would definitely recommend, was a great place to stay for a few days!

It was a pity that we only spent 1 night here. The apartment was very well equipped will heaters or air conditioning all round, bathrobes, and spa toiletries, not to mention the large smart TV, one of the best during our travels within NZ. Matt at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay there again if we're in Wanaka.

You have to visit Wanaka, and you have to stay here! Truly a hidden gem! This place isn't a motel - its more like a 4-5 star hotel The space, amenities, location is amazing! The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all appliances, they had all the teabags, mini cookies for us.. so amazing! what a treat and what an experience! Highly recommended!

This motel is Awesome! The rooms are large, clean and new. The lovely lady at hotel reception was friendly and welcoming and turned the heater on in our room in anticipation of our arrival. The bed was really comfy and the shower and toiletries provided were excellent. The location is great, it's not in the centre of town but so close it doesn't matter. I will be back. I stayed with my husband at West Meadows for a night in December 2017. Donald was extremely friendly with directions and recommendations. The room was very clean and spacious -even the bathroom was! I would like to specially mention the kitchen table top area. The dishwasher was a delight, so was the built-in dustbin. All these details did make our stay much better especially when we had to DIY our meals. Bed was comfy as well. Could be a bit of distance to the city centre, but most people self-drive anyway! Will consider staying again if I ever visit Wanaka again!

I was so very impressed with West Meadows. Nicest, and newest, place we stayed on the entire South Island. Wish we could have stayed longer. Best bathroom, best kitchen, most comfortable bed. When I make it back to NZ I will be staying again.

In our travels throughout New Zealand there definitely have been some hits and some misses. Happily, this was one of the hits. Our unit was a corner, one bedroom unit a couple of minutes drive from Wanaka Town Center. The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean with wonderful bathroom amenities. We had next to no interaction with the proprietors, but that's due to us being pretty independent , and not meant as a reflection on the service. I would definitely recommend this motel to family and friends!

Very clean and new with great bathroom amenities. Great location if you are driving. It only took us 5-10 mins to drive to town to grab pizza from Domino's and to the supermarket. The motel is well stocked with pots and pans if you decides to cook a simple meal. The only problem we had was a porcupine seeking shelter right outside of our door step.
