Enjoyable stay and very friendly staff!”
Our stay in El Nido Bayview Hotel was very enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect and the view was beautiful. The beach is a few steps away from our hotel room. I think what made our stay even more comfortable is the fact that all the staff members were very friendly and accomodating. Wylene at the front desk was very nice, accomodating and helpful with all our needs. Angel, Jeffrey, Ralph, Jerah, and the rest of the servers at the restaurant had excellent customer service skills and were very polite. Our room was cleaned every day without reminding the staff. I also love the fact that their reservation officer, Roxanne, was very prompt with responding to all my questions even weeks before our arrival at the hotel... it gave me peace of mind that everything is all set. Our island hopping tour guide, Leonard, made our island hopping tour fun! Also, the resort has 2 dogs at the hotel lobby... they’re so sweet and friendly! Overall, I would stay in El Nido Bayview Hotel again.

Beautiful resort and amazing staff”
El Nido was a special place, but I think what made it extra amazing for us was staying at Bayview. It's a beautiful resort set up on the hill, so when you step out, it's all green and fresh air and mountains. One of the best beaches in El Nido is literally at your doorstep. At night, everything is quiet. I used to stay in town when I went to El Nido. That's where all the tours and restaurants and bars are. But I think it's worth staying in Bayview since it's just a short tricycle ride away, and you get so much more value for your money. Most hotels in town are cramped and the environment is dirty and noisy and crowded -- which I assume is what you wanted to avoid by taking a vacation. The people were also so nice. We were staying for a week, and they upgraded us halfway through and we got a room overlooking the sea. The food, the facilities, even the snorkeling equipment for rental were all top-notch. Go and stay there!

Awesome view but the price might be discussed”
The view from this resort is really amazing even if you stay in the garden view room (you can always climb up the hill and have rest on the lounges there). But it's a bit noisy because of 24/7 working electricity generator and water pump (I guess that was their sound). Although electricity and hot water is not very stable like almost everywhere in El Nido. Corong Corong is the best place to stay in El Nido I'm sure, and the beach Las Cabanas which is situated right near the hotel (but you have to climb from there some hundreds steps up, so be ready for that! if you have been to the best hotel on Santorini in Greece you won't complain) is really one of the best beaches of El Nido as well, and if you are near Las Cabanas you don't need these everyday island-hoppings to enjoy your stay in El Nido. E.g. the main beach of Corong Corong is nothing to compare with Las Cabanas. The service is standard (they will offer you all the famous tours ABCD, all possible activities and rent a van to Puerto Princesa or anywhere else), the staff is helpful with all your bags and all you may ask. Every time you'll go to the beach you may ask a towel at the reception. The restaurant is nice for view and dinner, included buffet breakfast is also good. The rooms are a bit small and stuffy. I don't like air-conditioners but I had to use it. No Wi-Fi and no SMART signal (only at the reception desk and in the restaurant up the hotel).

Best view in town”
Pros: room was clean, bed was clean, bathroom was clean, toilet has a bidet, shower was roomy and relaxing to get washed up, staff was extremely nice and accommodating, back private patio had amazing view of water with a deck to meditate, comfy layout beds for sun tanning, and delicious free buffet style breakfast in open dining area over looking breath taking view, and Bayview Resort is directly located across the street from on elf the most beautiful beaches Las Cabanas Beach with white sand and shallow water perfect for kids to play and adults to sit and lay out, along with a few bars and restaurants and zip lining. No need to be taken to Nakpan like most suggest. Cons: the hike UP a hundred steps to your room was exhausting, there was a frog in the shower that freaked me out (I caught it with a cup and released it outside) , location is a 15 minute tricycle ride into the town and is impossible to find a ride near midnight. Overall, the view from the front door to the back door to breakfast is worth the hike up those stairs every time. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you Bayview Resort for our awesome first experience in El Nido.

Exceptional”
We really liked Bayview because it was super close to a much quieter beach than the one in town. You just walk across the street and down some stairs and you're at a beach. To get into town is very easy. The security guard would flag one of the motorbike riders (sort of like a Tuk-Tuk if you've been to Thailand) and it was an inexpensive way to get to town which is about 10 - 15 mins away. The rooms were kept impeccably clean. The bathroom had a few tiny aunts but I've had that in in many humid places. I would just keep my toothbrush outside the bathroom. El Nido is a relatively remote place, so you have to keep your expectations realistic. The view is unreal from the room, and they have an amazing restaurant upstairs where they serve breakfast. The stairs that some reviews discussed about took a bit of getting used to but weren't all that bad if you pace yourself. The staff were excellent - so polite, friendly & attentive. They helped with every question/need & went above and beyond

Really Enjoyed This Hotel...Would Definitely Go Back!”
Okay, yes, there were lots of stairs...71 to be exact! I understand the complaints if you are elderly or injured. But otherwise...stop complaining...they're stairs. You're not walking over glass to get to your room. There, rant over. The hotel was actually very clean and nice. And, I imagine compared to everything else we saw around the area, it would be considered 4 star. You have to remember that this is an "out-of-the-way", under developed, corner of the world. This is why we wanted to go there. When you go to placed like this, don't expect to stay at the Ritz-Carlton. The rooms were very nice and clean. The AC/power worked great! It tripped a few times, but no big deal. It is shut off during the day, but that's when you should be out enjoying El Nido and the beaches and tours. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. Again, keep your expectations realistic. The staff was very accommodating when it came to breakfast, so much so that we ate dinner there as well all but one night. Dinner was good, but they have an extensive menu and not everything is available. Better if they slimmed the menu down and offered other items as "specials" when they are available. The "catch of the day" was really delicious grilled. We did arrange to rent a motorbike from through the hotel (which they sub-contract out to someone in town). Highly recommend that you look the motorbike over and take photos of it before you leave...do it while the owner is standing there. We took the motorbike to Nacpan Beach (highly recommended) and back....only. Didn't have any accidents or problems. However, the next day the hotel informed me that the motorbike owner said we damaged the bike and showed us numerous scratches all over different parts of the bike. We insisted heavily that we did not...because we did not....and they finally dropped it. I don't think it was the hotel that was pushing. I think the motorbike owner was pushing the hotel and trying to get extra money out of th

Great location near beautiful beach with a lot of restoraunts”
Very nice accomandation, great view, nice nature around the hotel, nice small pool and place to rest. Just few minutes walk is nice beach and there will open soon more restaurants and shops. So if you like to have some fun on the beach, to eat some good food, enjoy in sand and beautiful sea, have a zipline than Las Cabanas beach is great choice and El Nido Bayview best place to stay. For me it was nices place we stay during our travel around the Philippines. What I didnt like is not internet acess in the room and restaurant food. Other was great.

Gorgeous location with best sunset view, good value for money, eat elsewhere”
This is the best hotel if you want perfect sunset views right from your room’s balcony. No need to go to crowded sunset bars. Though it is located near Maremegmeg beach, accessible via a kind of secret stairway through lush greenery. We loved the vibe of Maremegmeg (chill people watching and food and drinks on mats on the sand) and apparently it’s one of the nicer swimming beaches of El Nido. (Just watch out for jellyfish, which was stated in the El Nido 101 guide in every room) Our private island-hopping boat also picked us up from this beach on both days so we didn’t need to go the docking beach. Beware though as it is a climb back to the hotel. Must be 100 steps to go back up the main road from the beach and another 100 going up to the hotel rooms. That’s the price you pay for the amazing view! We traveled with a 2 year old but he was fine re stairs! When we were there in February, they were constructing a gate on the higher level of the hilltop, so vehicles could come in and guests don’t have to take the stairs up to their room but instead down. I suppose they will move or have a second reception area up there, near the restaurant. Since we would be tired from whole day beaching, we would end up having dinner at the hotel but the food is not that great for the price. You’re better off going into town and exploring local fare. The rooms are spacious but a little bit dated. But beds were clean and pillows comfy! Bathroom was also on the dark side. We could advise bigger frosted windows to let natural light in. But again, the best part is the balcony! Make sure to book the rooms with sea views. I also hope they move toward becoming an eco friendly sustainable hotel. But also appreciate the free water refilling station by the hotel lobby so I just refill my jug, no need for plastic water bottles. All in all, I’d give it 4/5 stars. :)

Great hotel 10-15 mins out of El Nido town”
The bedroom was spacious, very clean, and the king bed was awesome and very comfortable. The balcony in the Bay View room is astounding with fantastic views of the beach and sunset. The bathroom was fine, but the hot water system was dreadful. It was a mission to get the hot water to turn on, then stay on. We had housekeeping try to fix it multiple times. Wifi is not available in the rooms, only in reception. It is not very reliable, even when you stand next to the router. Staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. They also booked our island hopping tours (which are a standardised rate regardless of where you book). Breakfast is decent, often a buffet selection of local and Western food. We did not try the dinner, but the owner treated guests to "lechon" (pig on a spit) one night, which was really lovely. Location is key here. The hotel is directly opposite the Marimegmeg Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches near El Nido. El Nido town itself is 10-15 minutes away by trike for a standard rate of P150 (one way). Payment by card is accepted, which is a real relief in El Nido where there is no ATM. Overall, a fantastic stay and would recommend :)

Great service, well located.”
Bayview is very nice, all the rooms are set on a hilltop with beautiful sea views. The rooms are very clean/pleasant as are the bathrooms. Air con was great and we slept very well on the very comfy queen size bed. Location is about 10min by tricycle to El Nido town centre (not walkable but tricycles are cheap and wait outside the hotel). Las caban˜as beach is a short 2min walk and in our opinion was the nicest mainland beach in easy reach of the town with a few restaurants and bars as well. Breakfast was buffet style and was different each day with a selection of tasty Filipino and western dishes. There was also an egg/pancake station which was nice and brewed coffee. The staff were really excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and had a good sense of humour. The only downside was the wifi which doesn't work inside the rooms (?due to thick walls). We would definitely stay here again if visiting El Nido.

I had an amazing stay!”
My trip to El Nido was excellent because of the hotel. The steps were hard to get up to but everything else was divine. :) The staff was so nice to us and we even got an upgrade to the Bayview room, which had the most amazing sunset view! The van from Puerto Princesa airport drives by the hotel so they drop you off coming from there and when you go home, the vans can also pick you up at no extra charge. I highly recommend you stay here. The people are great and the facilities are good. Buffet in the morning was good for me and they even have an omelet station. :)

Beautiful location!”
We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the hotel and location. Book a room on the second floor with a sunset balcony. The view is SPECTACULAR. The hotel is directly across the street from one of the most stunning beaches in El Nido. The swimming is gorgeous and it is quiet as there isn't many hotels around this area. The only issue we had was getting new towels, but really not a big deal as they replenished when requested. You can easily get a trike ride into El Nido Town so no worries about proximity all the nighttime restaurant action.

Such a nice place!”
We loved our stay here. Immediately upon checking in, we knew the service was at a superior level. The steps up to your room are a bit steep but they had a staff member carry our bags up which was so nice. The bed and pillows are actually really comfortable and the room is spacious and has what you need. The bathroom was nice as well. Included breakfasts are nice and the view from the restaurant is beautiful. We came from a budget hotel and upgraded to this place partway through our stay in El nido and it was such a nice switch because we didn’t really enjoy the other place! If we go back, I’d totally stay there again. We rented a motorbike which made trips to el Nido downtown easy and quick. We didn’t try the pool afterall but it looked nice. Restaurant food in the evening was so-so, but the shakes were yummy. Overall great place and great service.

Best hotel in El Nido”
The hotel has a great location - just across the road is the best beach you can find near El Nido town - Marimegmeg (Las cabanas) beach (3 min. walk). It is a quietest place (unlike the town itself), and you can always reach the town by trycikle in 10 minutes for about 100-150 pesos. The hotel is new, the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day, in the rooms are comfortable beds, new air-cons. Electricity and hot water in the shower are always present, day and night. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in other hotels in El Nido as well, but this one was definitely the best.

Great location!”
We were two middle-aged ladies staying there for 5 nights. The location of the hotel is great- right on above Las Cabanas beach (which is the best beach in the area for their sand, water and beach bars). Yes, the stairs between the hotel and the beach is long but it’s a great workout for your legs. The hotel is also 15 minutes tricycle ride from town centre where you can get cheaper food, etc. but do not stay in town if you are not a backpacker. There’s nothing to see there. We took Tour A from the hotel, which was very convenient and the same price as all other operators in El Nido. The only negative comment we have is that there are no cheap eats or convenience stores nearby unless you go to town. Internet was weak inside the room but it’s fine outside. We didn’t travel all this way to be online!

The sweetest staff and location!”
The staff made the stay a great experience and were very accommodating and caring to my being a solo traveler. My first two nights, I was in the twin room (room #101) and somehow on my second night, woke up with dozens of bites all over my body (we never figured out what it was, but people who saw said it was likely either ants or sandfleas from nacpan beach). In any case, the staff moved/upgraded me to a Bayview room (#103) and that was lovely. With a balcony overlooking Las Cabanas beach, which is a 2-minute walk away, it offers epic sunset views. The location of the resort is a bit further out from town, about 150 pesos each way if you get a tricycle, but only a 8-10 minute drive on the motorbike if you rent one, which is worth it if you plan to go in/out of town often or want to go to Nacpan Beach on your own. In the week that I spent in El Nido though, my favorite beach on the island was Las Cabanas.

Best Hotel in our 2 weeks in Philippines”
For us it was the best Hotel on our 2 week journey in the Philippines. We arrived late at night (2AM) and the stuff was already waiting for us to help us get our luggage to the rooms. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay so much there. The Corong Corong Beach is right below the Hotel, so you don´t even have to bother to drive to busy El Nido other than for shopping for going out.

Birthday Celebration”
The owner of the hotel is very welcoming. When she knew that I am celebrating my birthday here, she upgraded our room to suite room with private jacuzzi. Location is far from the town but if you're looking for a hotel away from the noisy at party vibe of El Nido, it's the place to be!

Perfect location to get out of the main town”
The hotel staff were very welcoming. The beach at the bottom of the steps was our favourite in EL Nido. The town is quite far from El Nido Town so would advice a few night here then moving into the town for a few nights.
