Honeymoon in El Nido”
We love our room! We have amazing view of the sea and sunset. They serve good food too! well done to the chef! Friendly and helpful staff.. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends! :)
It is nice to have you as part of the Tourism Industry and helping as agent to have no headache in some request and for giving excellent services.. thank you.. Rio Travel
Get the Bayview room”
The Bayview rooms really do offer a stunning view. Room is decent size and comfortable. WiFi was a challenge throughout the stay. Only available in the lobby area. Breakfast was different everyday, mostly Filipino choices, but bacon and egg always available. Yes, the steps are a bit of an effort, but take the approach that you are getting some good exercise. Marimegmeg beach is beautiful for swimming, and just across the road.
Not a very worthy hotel”
The shower water was dirty when we were about to shower and there's no hot water in some rooms. The food is expensive and terrible, and there's no wifi and hard to get a signal for our own mobile data. The view is totally blocked by the hotel building, so you need to go all the way up to the restaurant. Next time will definitely choose to stay in downtown instead of this hotel.
Great location, amazing and helpful staff, good food and selection at the restaurant. Very welcoming staff who was very attentive.
Location is too far”
While it is true that this hotel takes you away from the noise of the town area, it is just too far. Considering that trike fare is exorbitant (P150/$3 per way) it’s not at all worth it. Also the place needs maintenance, (e.i., the bidet in our hotel was leaking, the hot shower was not working). The staff though are really accommodating. And the view from the top is amazing. Might come back here again if only for that view. Overall, if you want to relax and minimize your activity, this is the place you can go. Otherwise it’s still best to get a place in town for convenience and economy.
We really liked Bayview because it was super close to a much quieter beach than the one in town. You just walk across the street and down some stairs and you're at a beach. To get into town is very easy. The security guard would flag one of the motorbike riders (sort of like a Tuk-Tuk if you've been to Thailand) and it was an inexpensive way to get to town which is about 10 - 15 mins away. The rooms were kept impeccably clean. The bathroom had a few tiny aunts but I've had that in in many humid places. I would just keep my toothbrush outside the bathroom. El Nido is a relatively remote place, so you have to keep your expectations realistic. The view is unreal from the room, and they have an amazing restaurant upstairs where they serve breakfast. The stairs that some reviews discussed about took a bit of getting used to but weren't all that bad if you pace yourself. The staff were excellent - so polite, friendly & attentive. They helped with every question/need & went above and beyond
Great place with even better staff”
Probably the best views on island from the restaurant, pool and some rooms. The staff and management couldn't be more helpful. The owners even booked me and my friends with flights after our original flight was cancelled. Highly recommended.
Location and cleanliness is ok but i wouldn't recommend it for senior citizens who cannot climb up stairs. Stairs going to the restaurant is just too high and inclined. I was also wondering. I heard that there was a landslide beside this resort recently but how come they are still given a permit to dig out the mountain to add a spa and additional cottages. Isn't that dangerous?
Great location opposite the steps down to Las Cabanas beach and an easy 10 minute Tricycle ride into El Nido town. Breakfast was limited but the rooms were spacious. Staff were all very nice and helpful, would definitely stay again!
Nice Hotel - with an access to Marimegmeg beach”
Nice room. good view of the forest and mountain. very friendly staff. 15 minuted away from coron town. if you want to go to town, prepare a 150 pesos tricycle fare per way. Marimegmeg Beach is just 2 minutes away. very cozy and relaxing beach. though the prices of the restaurants is a bit pricey. but this hotel location is better compare to those in town.
Great location near beautiful beach with a lot of restoraunts”
Very nice accomandation, great view, nice nature around the hotel, nice small pool and place to rest. Just few minutes walk is nice beach and there will open soon more restaurants and shops. So if you like to have some fun on the beach, to eat some good food, enjoy in sand and beautiful sea, have a zipline than Las Cabanas beach is great choice and El Nido Bayview best place to stay. For me it was nices place we stay during our travel around the Philippines. What I didnt like is not internet acess in the room and restaurant food. Other was great.
A nice small resort near a beautiful beach. Overpriced for what's on offer.”
Slightly overpriced for what's on offer but overall a nice resort. Currently undergoing an upgrade. Room was spacious with very comfortable beds, new quality linen and towels and large bathroom. Reliable aircon and large TV. WiFi only in the dining area - and still intermittent. Pool area has fantastic views but needs tiding up - more sun beds, umbrellas etc. Average breakfast - but sufficient. Located near a beautiful beach with 300m+ access across the street. Lots of development taking place in the area. Closest minimart and restaurants a few mins drive by tri-cycle for P50 each way to Corong and P150 to El Nido town. Organised a great island hopping day! Once concern were serious cracks in the window seals and entrance door allowing insects in and noise. Should be repaired. Also airport shuttle in NOT free - approx. P1200. Note the many stairs leading to the rooms.
APART FROM THE VIEWS THERES NOTHING ELSE TO THIS PLACE”
Awful service by the staff. Very small pool area. Owners have no respect for guests staying as they wander around the hotel making a racket! Im a business owner myself and would never dream of behaving in my properties in this manner. For the value, you get good views, however you can go elsewhere for these views. Don’t waste your time and money booking here. I have stayed in many five star hotels and can say this is no more than a 3 star.
Our room with jacuzy was amaizing!!
Wonderful Views! ”
This was a very nice place to stay- I'm glad I booked it, having moved from my other hotel which was nice but not as nice. The entire wall was clear glass giving an amazing panoramic view of the Bay- sunsets were awesome. The staff was very helpful. Get a massage in your room from April, she was very good, very professional therapeutic massage for only 800 pesos for an hour. I got one both nights of my stay and tipped her 200 because she is so very worth it. Food was good in their restaurant, also w a great view.
I had an amazing stay!”
My trip to El Nido was excellent because of the hotel. The steps were hard to get up to but everything else was divine. :) The staff was so nice to us and we even got an upgrade to the Bayview room, which had the most amazing sunset view! The van from Puerto Princesa airport drives by the hotel so they drop you off coming from there and when you go home, the vans can also pick you up at no extra charge. I highly recommend you stay here. The people are great and the facilities are good. Buffet in the morning was good for me and they even have an omelet station. :)
Great hotel great staff”
Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were really helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay great. Located up on the hill with just 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Food in the restaurant is also great.
Great place, spectacular view!”
We had a great stay here, the place is Nice and clean, the view is amazing. Also the shower is so good, unlike other places on palawan. The food is great. We had a room with view on the forest but there are enough places for a great sundowner at the hotel. It is located near the best beach in town. We enjoyed our stay so much that we Will go here again in a couple of days.
Location and view make up for what it lacks. ”
Yes, the hot water is not consistent. Yes, their breakfast buffet ran out of food at 8:30 and took15 minutes to be replenished (the food was made way too greasy) and yes, I had to call to have the room cleaned, wonder what happened to the water, call to fix the hot water, call for bath towels (stayed 6 nights) BUT, the view, location and ease to Las Cabanas beach right across the street makeup for it all. The Beach Shack had great wifi where we hung out all day, we took a private tour from that beach another day. Just the convenience and beauty was unmatched. I also went in knowing there might be issues as I read other reviews. Get a room with a bay view, the private balcony was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again.
