Great view, unique hut
We choose the hut with el nido mountain side view..it was nice, the location is about 15 minutes walking to el nido pier but it was okay..the aircond was good and i like the wood floor..The bathroom was good, they have the hot shower but it was not too swiftly flowing..they have no television, the bed was so so..they have no blanket, only a piece of bed sheet as the blanket..the breakfast was so so, no many choices..the hospitality was great, they are very friendly, they also give the discount for island hopping tours that we took..and they also provide free trycycle for us..it was nice..for dinner, u should walking away nearer to the el nido pier..in general we satisfied and for our next visit, we will consider to choose the viewdeck again..

very nice spot when i booked a room (lower deck) but when the owner saw that we're a couple he transfer us into upper deck cottege which is more expensive to what we expected but wait, the owner gave that for free! without additional charges room is good 5mins walk to the heart of el nido (i advise to walk rather taking a tricycle) they change our bed sheet twice very clean cold AC, the only down side is water has cut off lol late checkout no problem with the owner

The view is the best and our stay was comfortable.
Little bit more quiet for rest, not far from the main area. Staffs apart from the breakfast area were nice and very helpful. The view out of your room window is great. Hotel is nicely decorated made you feel the nature and it's like on a tree house. Overall a pleasant stay.

An okay value for the money
My stay in this hotel was less than satisfactory to be honest. One; they only clean the rooms every other day. Two; you have to walk up A LOT of stairs which was quite taxing for me. Three; I didn't care for the owner that much. When I was sitting in the restaurant area working on my laptop she gave me this look like 'what are you doing here?'. But then once I revealed I was from the states she changed her attitude and feigned being nice. The part I really didn't like was the way she treated her employees. Yelling at them in front of customers. An employee that had been there less than two weeks made a mistake and gave me misinformation about the transportation. He told me they would pick me up from the hotel which was wrong. I would've been sitting there waiting and he also told me since I had a paid for another day that I wasn't going to use that that they would use that for my transportation. I thought everything was done and was waiting for my ticket the owner said there were no refunds and I had to pay. I then spoke to the employee and the owner acquiesced and she did give me my ticket but told me she would deduct it from his salary. Of course I wasn't going to allow that so I told her I would just pay it since I know salaries are very low there. I personally found that to be appalling. I understand running a small business is difficult but you don't need to treat your employees that way. Especially one that had been there such a short period of time. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Not bad for a budget traveler
We booked the room 4 (fan room) for 2 nights. Pros: - 10min walk from the terminal and 5-10min walk from the town where you can drink and dine by the beach - Kuya Carf (the receptionist guy) is the charm of this place. He's very accomodating and just wow he's got all this energy. I saw him running up and down the stairs attending to guest concerns. Upon check in, he instantly carried and brought our bags to our room weighing approx 16kg, ran on his bare feet. He deserves employee of the year award haha. - Food is okay - Mosquito net is available by request - Nice view from the room/balcony - Clean toilet Not really Cons (but things that you may want to consider if you want to avail the fan rooms) - Considering that its pretty expensive in El Nido, it's really up to you how to budget and what to prioritize. In our case, we opted for fan room since we only needed a place to sleep and shower. It may be humid in the late afternoon or at night. What we did was, we opened the windows at night knowing that we'll be inviting mosquitos and other insects in the room. We have mosquito net anyway. Applied mosquito repelent lotion to our body and we had 'katol' (pls be cautious when using this, it can cause fire). So it was okay for us. - I don't recommend this for out of shape folks. Unless you want to burn 10-15 calories every time you climb up the hilly place and go to your room. - My bf got 4-5 bed bug bites. I got none. So i wont recommend this to people with sensitive skin.

We were visiting El Nido for 6 days and 5 nights. Location is right in the middle, 5 minute walk going to the town proper and about 5 mins ride going to the other side (las cabanas, suset bar, etc). They changed our bedsheets twice during our stay which is nice. The staff are very nice and attentive to our needs.
