Too expensive for a very small room”
Beach is nice with gray powdery sand and clean water. However, pictures in the website didn't translate in the actual scenery. No huts or any amenities in the beach area, room for 3 pax was too small. Bathroom is small with weak water pressure. Breakfast was controlled.
A quick post Valentine getaway”
We make use of this weekend to explore Lingayen and attend the baby dedication. It was a blessing in disguise that the venue for the dedication is fully booked so we opted to stay in El Puerto Marina Beach Resort. We arrived early and we had time to roam around. There were several construction going on but it wasn’t an eye sore. The staffs were very accommodating to our needs and the guard gave us helpful tips on our way around the Capitol. The room Is quite small but we didn’t mind for we will only use it to rest and keep our belongings but we hope there was a personal fridge and water heater which is a basic appliance in most hotel rooms. We had lunch at their restaurant and I must say that the serving was generous so as the breakfast the next day. The room rate also comes with an entrance ticket to Aquatica Manila but the resort also comes with their in-house pool and beaxh front. It was an enjoyable weekend for us.
good for family outing”
Our room is good for 8 people. The space is ok especially for young kids. The only problem with the room is the toilet because the drain is not good. Water accumulates on the floor making the area wet. Doormats were not provided until we asked for them. The place is a bit difficult to find but there are signages everywhere. The staff are very polite but service in the restaurant takes a long time serving our breakfast. The Aqua Park is very suitable for kids to enjoy. However, the wave pool has limited time (only 30min) and do not operate until 11am. This is too short for kids to enjoy. Water in the wave pool is also dirty. It needs to be drained everyday. The beach is a few meters walk. Do not expect fine white sand. But the beach is a nice area to observe sunrise. The infinity pool is nice. There are on-going constructions in the area but they did not seem to bother us.
STAY AWAY, ITS A DUMP, PERIOD”
They couldn't find the corkscrew in 30 minutes looking, so wine was out of the question.. The "hut" doesn't even have wall hooks, let alone a coat hangers' bar, so you must leave your clothes on the floor! Suitcases, again nowhere but the foot of the bed. The toilet paper sits on the sink because there is no roller for the TP. At 7 AM motorcycle or AWD races start right outside and wake you up. Room has a bed. Period. The internet is useless, simply zero, we had to go forego any email checking or looking for next hotel online. My credit card didn't work, their machine quit. Staff are just minions, nice enough but zero authority as the manager wasn't around to give him hell: he/she is the world's worst hotel manager and I mean literally the worst ever (I have been to 110 countries including much 3rd world and this ranks as one of my worst rip-offs ever). NEVER STAY HERE, SKIP THE ENTIRE TOWN IF NECESSARY.
It’s more fun in Lingayen”
Hopefully when the construction are finish the whole outside area are free of trash specially the beach area..You should put some trash can along the boardwalk where they can put their trash, recycling bin etc..That will definitely be a tourist destination when you keep it clean..See you in the future..
Quite expensive with limited stuff to do”
We were attracted by marina aquatica. However, i dont know if it is under renovation or it is just not maintained. Kubo for 2 is beside a smelly pond. The smell goes inside the room. Quite expensive for just limited ammenties and facilities. Hoping that it will get improved in the future.
Great value nice pool and ice cold AC”
We were pleased to stay in a nice family room with hot water shower ice cold quiet AC and a Safe box. The hotel swimming pools were great with one side for kids and other for adults. They have a water park but you only get a pass for 1 day and you need to pay for your kids.
Family Outing Before Visiting Our Dearly Departed ”
We booked a Small Family Room at this hotel a day before visiting our dearly departed during All Saints Day. The "small" family room (for 5) was indeed small - 3 single beds and a double deck bed cramped into a tiny room. The analogue TV, although with digital channels was very snowy. The room has a bathroom with hot and cold shower with soap and shampoo, but the towels were worn out. The air conditioning though was sufficient. The free breakfast was very, very austere. What was disappointing was the Aquatica Marina Water Park. The Wave Pool was not working (probably for quite some time because the water was murky). The Raging River must have seen better days as the floor of the pool was muddy. The 4 Water Slides were working, but the tube rental was prohibitive. Only the Kiddie Pools were functioning and clean. We wanted to go to the beach, but the trail to the beach was flooded so there was no way to go there (no beach activities). The hotel has its own swimming pool but it was closed. I tried the Spa but there was only one male attendant on duty and already booked. It was a Saturday and I asked the front desk if there was any activity at the restaurant, but they did not know if the singer/s were arriving.
Far from town, beach 200m away. Small rooms with scarce and outdated furniture, very small bathroom with no amenities. Breakfast below average and terrible instant coffee. Nice pool area, suitable for small kids. Service staff nice but in essence subpar - they employ students from the nearby tourism college, but do not give them any guidance. Absolutely no service at the pool - you always have to walk to the restaurant and ask for service. a lot of items on the menu (food and drinks) not available. Too expensive for what they deliver...
Fun but everything was pricey”
Location: Quite far, needs car to go to restaurants. 1 hr drive to Alaminos for Island Hopping Food: Yummy but very expensive Room: Basic and clean Do not avail the Island Hopping package from the hotel because it is very expensive. We went straight to Lucap Wharf in Alaminos and just paid less than 200 pesos each.
the bungalow was cool.”
i was very upset when i got there bc your google map address had two locations, it was dark and scary before we got to the hotel. you need more signs before you actually are close to the hotel. we got lost and went in circles in bad scary traffic because there are no address numbers for the address and we had to ask half a dozen people where it was. why would i have to do that? the resort needs to provide better google maps directions, one location, not two in two different places. it was very confusing and up setting.
The facility was awesome with lots of things to do for the entire family. Staff was so accommodating and treated us like Kind and Queens
we went foe a quick trip after a wedding and it is indeed a perfect get away :) we arrived at 9am and they let us have the room around 10, late check out is also given! love the floating kubo rooms :;
so so ”
Cleanliness and kindness but location and transportation are not good.
The employees were all courteous and even allowed us to check-in earlier without no additional fees. The kids enjoyed the waterpark.
Place is still under maintenance. Food is kinda expensive. Water in the cr of their kubo room is color yellow. El puerto has only 1 pool, that's why their giving a ticket pass to aquatica marina plus the beach is kinda far that you need to pass in a highway to go to the beach.
The concept of the resort is good. However, there is no infrastructure to support it. The fish pond is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, it smells so bad, the air is so polluted it is very unhealthy for the lungs. Members of the staff look very smart and they are very polite, however their training must be so limited customer service is very poor. This scenario happened lunch, dinner and breakfast. Pleasantly, they sit us down, give us the menu and expect that we know what we want to eat when we did not even open the menu. No offer of beverages until I insisted I need a very strong one. The seem to have no clue about the menu items. If you ask what would they recommend, they smile polite "it's up to you mam." After a meal is served, the staff stand close by but not really attentive. I have to wave or go to them for a refill or another drink. I try to engage in a conversation about the resort, the city or the province, they politely say "I don't know mam."
I paid for the room before checking out even if I explained to the receptionist that this will be charged to my credit card. They said they don't have a signal and will not be able to check. Now, I was charged for my stay. Dispute in process. Go somewhere else.
The resort was ok yet the amount paid was expensive. I had to request for water bottles for my second day as I have paid for it. Only when I talked to the attending manager that it was given. The staff offered a pitcher. I had allergies on my first conference days so the place must have some dust
Not Wort it”
The place is notg worth for its price. No Cable. No Wifi. Very weak signal (Globe and Smart) the beach is far from the resort. The beach sand is black and not ideal for swimming specially for the kids.
