Perfect Vacation”
Chris was very helpful and accommodating. He arranged everything from airport transfer (from puerto princessa to el nido {round trip}), hotel accommodation and tour. It was indeed a hassle free vacation. El Taraw in El Nido was superb! Neat and just a few minutes to the beach. There are a lot of restos and bars around the Inn. Chris also arranged our accommodation in Puerto Princessa. The room was new and clean. So homey. The breakfast was delish too! If you want hassle free vacation, call this number - 09175034849.

Our stay at El Taraw”
Our stay at El Taraw was good. The staff was really good, they were very friendly. El Taraw's location is very near the beach ( 2 mins walk) surrounded by cheap dining places and good barbecue. The bed was okay as well as the pillows the only thing it think worth mentioning is the shared bathroom it was clean but I feel like it's too tiny. Tall people would have a hard time aside from that there is nothing but good things to say about El Taraw.

You get what you pay!”
I got a room at the second floor, very clean and big enough for me and actually also for 2 people. The guy and girl at the reception were very helpful and nice. For the price you pay, in the expensive El Nido, is hard to find something better. The hotel is very well located in the city center near to the pier. The bathroom is shared, clean but very very small. They should improve a sink on it, it was hard washing teeth, but not a big deal for me. As I said, you get for what you pay. El nido have a suddenly electricity/water blackout.. Is not a hotel fault.

A skewed review”
I can’t really give this hotel a fair rating because I only spent a few hours there but I feel obliged to write something since I paid for five nights there. I checked in around 3pm on my day of arrival in El Nido and was a bit dismayed to be given the room on the ground floor right beside reception and just two metres off the road. There was all kinds of traffic passing by, mostly motorbikes and tricycles, and my first impression was I’ll never get any sleep here. But then again I thought the traffic will die down by early evening, and it did so that wasn’t a problem. But the café directly across the street was a problem. I was planning an early start the next day and tried to crash out early but around 9pm the DJ in the Jova Moon Café started blasting very bass heavy music. I put in my earplugs to no avail. At 11:30pm that horrible noise was still blaring and I knew there was little chance of getting any sleep in this location. So I got dressed and started pounding the pavement looking for a new hotel, which I eventually found. Once i'd paid for my new hotel room I came back to El Taraw, grabbed my bags, left the key on the bed, locked the door and left (reception at this hotel closes at 10). I felt kind of bad leaving as I did because the guys running this place seem decent enough but the cafe across the street is going to ruin their business if they can't get something done about the noise.

Clean airconditioned room at an affordable price!”
Since we were out the whole time, we were looking for an affordable place to stay. El Tarraw was exactly what we were looking for. They have friendly staffs, good room and perfect location to stay. However, the comfort room was so small. But all in all, our stay was awesome.

Pleasant stay!!”
Good price / quality. We had a warm welcome and a great stay for a few days and really wanted to extend but unfortunately it was already fully booked for the next days. So better to book in advance. The rooms are small but clean. We had the room without the airco and only fan, when it is not to hot it is ok. The toilet and shower (combined) is (in case of this room) on the corridor and is really small. So if you are a big guy or women you must do some acrobatic move to shower ;-) ,but doable. Thanks to John and his team and thanks for the nice souvenir, really appreciate it. Hope to see you all next time! Greetings from Vincent and Vilas from the Netherlands

small but nice”
The room was small but its clean. Worth the money it is located near stores, beach. If you don't mind walking 1 to 2 minutes from the action its really worth the price. Receptionist is really accomodating. They see to it that you enjoyed their place and the tours. Internet is not that good but who needs internet when you enjoy the paradise.

Be prepared”
Be prepared to hear rats in the ceiling at night, if not, every second day or so the bar across the street will play deep house till 2am. It's a shame for the owners they have neighbours that affect their business considering they're so nice. Not to mention because we stayed in the room directly off the street we woke up to people using the well outside our window at 6am every morning. If you just need a place to crash and have earplugs this is okay cause it's a good price but definitely not recommended for a long term stay... We stayed four nights though because this was the cheapest we could find with air-conditioning (800 peso) even though it didn't have a sink.

Good for ghe price”
Good place for a low budget. We stay 5 night and it was good. Everything is fine except the fact that the room is too low and i hit my head against the roof twice at night, also the toilet (shared with one other room) is really small. I wouldn't go if you are a tall person..

Staff very friendly but that's it”
I think you can find something better for this price. Location very central, very noisy specially at night time with all the trucks coming from ferry. Toilet with shower so small is hard to get in. We stayed 3 nights, two mornings there was no water to take shower. Staff ware very friendly but we wouldn't stay there again

Not so clean but very helpful staff”
The room floor was not clean. Room next to road where many tricycle and other transport use that road. It was a bit noisy starting from 6.00am to 9pm, its ok for us as we're not always in the room. Staff especially the guy was very helpful. All of them greet us with smile.

Our stay was fair. The toilet was a little bit small and even the room. The staff was nice and accommodating. Best for backpackers.

Felt like Harry Potter living under the stairs. ”
This was one of worst places we have stayed during our backpacking trip in Asia. I know it says small room, but this takes the piss. 700 pesos for a double room is a rip off. I felt like bloody Harry Potter living under the stairs. Then theirs the "bathroom" where you have to squeeze yourself down one side of the toilet so you can shut the door behind you. We stayed one night and moved on to another place. Their a places one hundred times better than this and for the same price.

There are way better options in El Nido”
Was not satisfied, no wifi (the receptionist used some pocket device trying to provide wifi but didn't work), extremely noisy street, our budget a/c room being on the ground floor, impossible to stay inside as all the trucks, tricycles, bikes etc passing 2 meters from the bed, tiny bathroom, no sink, no hot water, a/c was working. If in spite of all you still decide to stay here, don't use google maps to determine the location (it doesn't show the correct one), just go to the street (the address given here is correct), walk to the end of the street towards the cliffs and you'll find it.
