The hostel is very clean compared to other backpacker's hotel I've been. ”
The mattress of the bed is old, but it doesn't matter because it's still comfy and it's clean. The linen were also clean and has no smell. The staff were great and accommodating. I also got some awesome and friendly roommates. Breakfast was coffee/tea, toast, bread and cereals. Worth the money. Location is a 10-15 minute walk from the CBD, the place is quiet, good for backpackers who love quiet places. No aircon but there were ceiling fans.

Staff very friendly, room and roomates very calm, the breakast for free is very nice and really good price. The location isn't too bad too. The only things to improve would be : a safer room to keep the luggages and, because the showers are small, more hook in it would be really nice.

The staff where friendly and the dinning area large and the laundry was good. Showers hot. The place a little run down and being renovated. Fantastic location and value for money. However suitably sufficient for my stay. A lot of workers staying here.

Great location, nice breakfast, with lift”
The twin room that I get was fine. Lift is a plus since we have lots of luggage and our room are on the 3rd floor. Shared toilet and shower room are ok but some of the door need to be fix. Kitchen are rather packed during meal hours so cook your meal early to avoid queuing for the stove. Free breakfast is great to save some dollars. Location was good too! near to most of the tourist location.

When I was checkin, we get shocked after went to the room that room was not clear up yet”
But luckily the staff was great and get cool us down. We were so tired but have to wait and suddenly the window curtain cannot moving at all and we told the staff and the staff said have to wait at morning and ask someone help but no one shows up until we check-out. Hahaha. But everything is went well coz we took the comforter and tight at the curtain for the stays. By the way, the morning breakfast was nice and good. Thats all

The building is deteriorating. Rooms are pitiful. It's quite unfortunate that I bunked with ppl who practically lives there already rather than a traveller. plug and wall socket are. room and hallway floor is squeeky. lift (charmed by it's vintage design tho) is slow AF. there is no attendant at the kitchen and ppl can simply ignore CLAYGO rules. Nearest is St James station which you have to HIKE in 7 - 10minutes. I wish I could've opted for a better one.
