    Located on the shores of the St Lucia Estuary within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Elephant Lake Hotel features a bar leading out onto a viewing deck, where hippos can be spotted. The hotel has 2 levels and each air-conditioned room comes either with balcony or a patio and offers views of the St Lucia Estuary. The rooms are fitted with a safety deposit box, tea-and-coffee making facilities, satellite TV and en-suite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries.     Exactly what you'd expect of a 3 star hotel. You can see attempts have been made to modernise the decor. Covid protocols were excellent with everything prepackaged before your arrival, sanitized rooms and masks a requirement in all public areas. Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff at reception were very accommodating. When we had a booking request to stay longer, management swiftly made a plan. Definitely one of the nicer places in St.Lucia.
