Value for Money”

Elizabeth Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac well back from the busy Pradipat Road. The very clean room was comfortable but a little dated. No kettle was provided in my room. A wide ranging buffet breakfast was available. The small bathroom had a bath tub with a shower above. In all it was a present stay and good value for money. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

We Will Stay Here Again”

This is a great hotel for the price. We got the "Super Deluxe" room for a few Bhat more and it was worth it. It appears that the hotel rooms were recently remodeled and everything was clean and in excellent condition. The room looked just like the pictures for once. The staff was great, spoke pretty good English and they remembered us by name. The food in the lobby restaurant was good too. We had the breakfast buffet and lunch with no complaints (other than the manager never smiles). WiFi worked great. Our only complaint is that the subway station is not nearby but the bus stop is very near. We would definitely stay here again. There were lots of business people staying at this hotel.

Elizabeth Hotel: Great location - good value.”

For my last three days in Bangkok I chose the Elisabeth Hotel, since it’s close to the Chatuchak market (1 km., 40 Baht on a motorbike taxi) and also close to Saphan Khwai station, where you take the sky train to Phaya Thai station, where you change to the Airport Rail Link to Suvarnabhumi. Though a little old and old fashioned, things work alright at Elisabeth: my room was spotless on arrival, the aircon okay, power shower in an okay bathroom and a safety deposit box for free downstairs at the cashier’s. I paid 3375 Baht for 3 days through Agoda.

good hotel but breakfast buffet could be better with fresh cooked eggs and omeletts as fried eggs and sausage was either cold or warm. shower water was lukewarm and not relaxing impossible to use the bath as water was very close to being cold or warm at best, wifi very weak, could be excellent hotel if they would resolve these few issues but don't hold your breath

Popular with Thai Business People”

Value, Location

I chose this hotel because it had a pool for the price. However, I chose not to use it as the water looked too green. The hotel had many Thai business travelers when I was there. At 8AM the the restaurant was packed for breakfast. Eggs, white toast, sausage and fruit were Western and the rest was Thai. Pretty good Thai food.

Cheap and good location if you need to go to Don Mueang Airport or Morchit2 Bus Terminal”

Using this hotel since many years, still in the city and quick access to Don Mueang Airport and Morchit2 Bus Terminal. Cheap, but old building, old furniture etc. However everything is functioning, like elevators, breakfast service, room very clean, bathroom also OK. Swimmingpool on the roof needs a bit maintenance, but can be used. Construction around the hotel is now mosty finished, the road is clean, BigC ShoppingMall next to Saphan Kwai crossing, just a short walk.

It was what it was.....not good experience”

The main reason why we chose the Elizabeth Hotel was we wanted a place near the Weekend Market at Chatuchak. Which it was. Our biggest complaints were the staff spoke very little to no English despite having received messages on Messenger from someone who did speak English. Once you step out of the elevator you are met with a smell of mold/mildew. This was the same in the room too. There was mold on the shower ceiling and the vent didn’t properly close allowing for mosquitos. We called and they “fixed” it but not really. The worst was the practically non existent WIFI. I messaged them before hand asking if they had WiFi and they said yes. They did not say it was seriously weak, cuts off frequently and at night was practically nonexistent. The food was abysmally greasy. There weren’t many Westerners staying there for the four or five days we were there so i’m not sure who they cater to. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

This hotel is a bit dated. Lots of dark wood and old carpet. However, the staff was very helpful to us in several ways. For that reason, I'd recommend this place if a friend needed to be in that area of Bangkok. It would be a good idea for the hotel to update the bathroom showers.

As a few other reviews stated, the hotel is a little outdated, but still a great value for the money. An occasional odd smell from the bathroom, but otherwise clean quiet rooms. Very nice rooftop pool, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Also enjoyed listening to the band playing in the afternoon and evening. You can even get up and sing with them. Would definitely return.

Somewhat dated but acceptable. Clean and tidy room with a comfortable bed. WiFi was reasonable. Breakfast was okay but limited from a western point of view. Several asian food choices. Plenty of money changers along Pradipat Road offering excellent currency rates of exchange.
