very good resort that's great value...rooms are large and well appointed...shower takes ten minutes to heat up because of solar panels but it gets hot...sink has no hot water though...wifi is excellent..staff are great very helpful...restaurant slightly limited in menu items but there is small supermarket nearby for eseentials

I will deffenetly recomend Elwood Resort. A golfcart away from the beach. In my opinion of the best ones in hole Phu Quoc. Staf was wonderful and very helpful. The food could have been little better but otherwise brilliant.

Lovely relaxing resort ”
This resort suited us perfectly. Peaceful and relaxing. Lovely very clean bungalow with the bonus of an outdoor shower (there is also an indoor one). As I say this resort was perfect for us but wouldn't suit those looking for a 24 hour party type venue. Food was good but what made the resort extra special was the staff, the general manager and the owner-the nicest friendliest most genuine people you could wish to meet. Would definitely recommend. Sad to be home - we had a lovely stay - Thank you everyone at Elwood Resort

Friendly staff, nice pool, good food”
The elwood resort is after all a nice resort to relax from city life. Staffs are very friendly and responsive, restaurant is good enough though breakfast needs more variation. Beach is in a bit of distance and not really nice so we went to other beach which is recommended by the staff. The beach staff recommended is a place not easily found. It was one of kind you will never forget. A bit north from the resort and we hired a bike for a day in 10$. About 15min by bike. One day we stayed only by the pool at the resort. There are limited sun bed but no need to reserve. One thing i wanted in the room is a mirror. There is only one mirror in the shower room and i had to go into the heat (shower room is always hot because it has open window) for the make up. Also for using hair dryer, it was a bit inconvenient since there's no power in the shower room.

New and clean room”
We had good stay at Elwood with our family and a group of friends. We really like the bedrooms and the beautiful garden. The staffs were nice and flexible Minor thing was the room arrangement. We booked a family bungalo with two bedrooms and a kitchen. It turned out the kitchen was outside, not in between the bedrooms. Because of this inconvenience, The kitchen were dirty because nobody use them, even the cleaners did not clean it. Therefore, we did not use it either, even they have all the kitchen equipment!

Wonderful resort to stay. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It is not near the beach. But you can walk, or use free bike to go to the beach. And hire a motorbike to visit other places on Island.

The staffs are kind and helpful. Especially Hang from Reception. The outdoor bath is unexpectedly awesome. Taking a bath and see the green leaves, the beautiful blue sky. . I love all the trees in the resort, they were well taken care of and made us feel so fresh and peaceful. The non- paraben soap is a great idea as for someone like me.Breakfast is okay, unfortunately caught some flies. They said they tried to prevent them but I think they could have a cover for the food otherwise it looks creepy and not so hygienic. The bicycle was not in good condition though. Anyways, our trip was fantastic. Thank you Elwood. Would love to come back !

first off, this place was expensive. for the money we spent here. we were expecting something special. but it was anything but special. so the bungalos are cool and spacious. but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. the bathrooms have parts of the walls missing so the bugs and lizards get inside your room. the beds are hard..really hard. my body was sore from sleeping on them. this hotel is far away from the beach. and the spot they have sun chairs for elwood is actually next to a swamp full of garbage. and now we have the restaurant. first off, its expensive for what you get. second i have very specific dietary needs. i have celiacs disease as well as allergies. and they had absolutely no clue. everything they brought me made me very sick. and my boyfriend got extremely bad food poisoning. i saw one morning the chef dump a big bowl of tap water into the soup and then immediatly serve it to people after. i dont think they knew we couldnt drink their water. which makes me thing that the ice and cups of water they give you are from the tap. be aware of this. the staff were sweet but none of them spoke english. if i ever went back to phu quoc i would not stay here again. i do not recommend this place. you can get a better deal somewhere else. we spent most of our time at mango bay and coco palm beach resorts. they were gorgeous and very understanding. good luck

+ Nice room , spacious resort, free shuttle to the beach and town. Friendly staff, large pool - breakfast is average, Very quiet street, need a long walk (15 min) or taxi ride to find a street with bArs and restaurants.
