The best quaint hotel ”

our second stay in two months and still remains our favorite. the size of the rooms are generous. the service is extremely good.

Our stay in Emakhosini Morningside was less than average for the price. Value for money? Big no. ”

Initially we were accommadated and welcomed pleasantly by the front desk lady Cindy, who went out of her way to ensure we are happy. Innocentia one of the staff members has outstandingly exceptional customer services skills, the room has no fridge, microwave or two pin plug points. Neither is a communal kitchen for guests. Kitchen staff- pathetic service, they refuse to assist you to merely warm up your food using their microwave! After literally begging, he finally partially warmed our food which returned still ice cold. The cleaning lady then assisted by warming it up. Upon ordering room service from the restaurant we were told they bring up a menu which took 30 minutes, they then told us they are too busy to assist us in making a mere pizza!!!! In order to keep customers happy, we advise the hotel to include more amenities and trained staff who are customer service orientated. We will not be returning, neither do we recommend this place. not good at all. the food was over priced for what you got. greek salad was not traditional and for r65 i could have bought one at teh local checkers. the room was wrong even after we specifically asked for twin beds. the baclony was filthy and had to request someone to come clean the table. there was no bottled water in teh rooms which is a 4 star requirement. the shower ran hot and cold throughout for both of us. the floors were so dirty that when i went to plug my cell phone in and knelt onto teh floor i had big brown marks on my white pants at teh knees. the breakfast was really bad. sorry but i cannot recommend such a place especially for as a four star hotel!!!

This place looks good on the web but when you get there it's a different story. I made a booking online and the booking was confirmed and payment deducted same time. But when I got there I was told they were fully booked. I had to show them my booking reference, was then told to wait. After some time the receptionist came back and told me he had found us a room. The room I had booked was overlooking the swimming pool but the one I got the view was obscured. The bath robes that were advertised online were not there, the room telephone was not working. I had to walk to reception to ask for an iron and ironing board. The breakfast was very greasy. The only thing I enjoyed was the bed very comfortable. The rooms should have atleast bottled water, you can't have water from the tap in the toilet. I really feel like I wasted my money

It was not noise proof and you could here everything around, even the sound system.

A very noisy environment. Cleanliness is very bad, the rooms are not smelling good. Toilet door were not working properly. This is not 4 star accommodation.
