Excellent”

I have stayed at embassy suites sfo waterfront hotel many times in the last 10 years. This was my favorite place to stay until 3 years ago, when i asked front desk staff why my room was so hot no matter how cool i set the thermostat in my room. I was told that the airconditioning system did not work well and there were no plans to fix it. I stayed at embassy suites again march 9-12 and asked again about the airconditioning system. No repairs and no plan to repair. Again my room was uncomfortable. I fixed the problem by staying at the crown plaza just up the street from embassy suites san francisco waterfron hotel. Airconditioning worked great, two real beds in the room, ose to tje airport and cheaper than embassy suites. I will not stY again at this hotel until they fix their aircondtioner. I dont think they will as fromt desk staff told me management forbid them to talk to guests about the problem

Great location ”

Great location, beautiful views outside and in. I came solo with my two girls and felt very safe and comfortable. Amenities are great, beds are comfortable and it’s pretty quiet. I slep with the slider open for fresh air, even though the freeway is not far, you can’t hear it. Bummed to hear the pool is permanently closed. No managers reception due to staffing still, but hot buffet breakfast is back, so that was really nice. Overall I love Embassy Suites in general and always stay at this chain when traveling. This one is now my favorite for the Bay Area and I’ll be back.

Sfo Hotel”

One of the best hotels in the SFO area Views are fantastic hotel is clean Bed is constable I mean for the Value is Best Very clean everywhere.

Does not feel like a high end hotel”

1. The building looks good from the outside, but the inside looks like cheap apartments because of the railings around the court yard. The room looks great. Has everything we needed. We had a suite, so got plenty of room for relaxing and family fun. There is a small balcony for 2 to 3 people. But the one we had had part of the railing badly rusted (it is next to SF Bay so I was not surprised). I don't know if the hotel check them periodically. Also, there were people smoking on balconies so we had to keep the sliding doors closed. The swimming pool and the gym were not open because it did not meet the county's reopening guidelines. 2. You need your room key to go anywhere within the building. I guess because of COVID and I don;t blame them for that. However, I don't usually bring the room key around me when I am in a hotel so it is a bit inconvenient. 3. There is only one soap in the room. Usually other hotels prepare two - one for the sink and one for the bathtub. We called the room service for the soap but it was never delivered. 4. We specifically stated we had 2 adults and one child. But the room still only had 2 bath towels. It's OK, I could called the room service. But it was never delivered. 5. I suggest the hotel to prepare at least one pair of ear plugs because it is near SFO runway. I had no problem with the noise but my wife had hard time sleeping. 6. I highly suggest the hotel put a quiet hour sign on each room doors because at 1AM we hear there were kids shouting and laughing. Come on! This is NOT a dormitary but a decent hotel! 7. The breakfast is a little out of expectations. However, it has hot food (scramble eggs and sausages). And besides, it is free. So, I guess it is still pretty good, although not perfect. There was a long line for the hot food. When waiting, I asked a staff when the breakfast ends, the guy said "I will find out and let you know", then he walked away and never came back.... 8. Ok but super crowded all the time”

Maid took glass glasses and did not replace them or towels. I had to call 3 times to get glasses replaced. It took over 2 hours. Very irritating. Breakfast is good it has become a place for little children parties so cant get near the pool or hot tub. Its crowded with kids all the time.

Not So Sweet Suite Experience ”

A group of 5 of us booked a 2 room double suite with a pullout couch. It was to come with breakfast, snacks, water, soda, premium coffee for all adults and have WiFi included. When we booked the room we indicated 5 adults; which raised the cost of the room. When getting to the room, there was only snacks, water, and coffee for 2 adults and no info for WiFi. It was late so we figured we’d deal with it in the AM. After breakfast the next morning (which was good) we were able to get the password for the WiFi and asked to have the snacks/water/coffee refilled for 5 adults. The staff didn’t really want to do this but, begrudgingly put a note on our room. That PM the refill had only been done for 2 adults again. Also the bathroom (shower, etc) had not been cleaned, only the towels refilled. 5 adults in 1 hotel bathroom needs to be cleaned daily. Additionally our room smelled like smoke because the staffs break area on the roof was right outside our balcony. All this made for a very bad stay.

Excellent”

This is a very good hotel if you want to be near the airport. The rooms are very nice size suites and have a separate living room area. I liked the fact our premium suite included a free mini bar with botttled water , and other snacks. I can’t give this hotel a 5 star review as the dining choices are limited and the food is very average. Also the gym is very small and has very limited weights. Other than that , it has many positives such as nice size rooms , all rooms face into a courtyard , and the property is near the ocean.

Nice, but I've stayed at better”

The breakfast as poorly run. Long lines and rude staff. It was not a good environment for a nice breakfast. I felt rushed and I had to search for things from unfriendly staff. This is not my usual experience with Embassy Suites. I expect better for the money that I spent. I will likely not stay at this hotel again.

Wir haben ein geräumiges Hotel gesucht, das uns Platz bietet um unser Gepäck zu organisieren. Dazu war das Hotel perfekt. Sehr sauber, so konnten wir auch umräumen und uns entsprechend organisieren. Es ist ein klassischen Geschäftshotel mit hohem Innenraum, von dem alle Zimmer über Laubengänge erschlossen sind. Das Frühstück in dem grossen Innenraum was so angenehm, dass gewisse Leute wohl kaum mehr gehen wollten. So war es teils schwierig Platz zu finden.
