This is the worse budget hotel that I've ever been in my entire life! Furnitures are old. It had bath tub but the shower does not functional quite well. It does not have any wifi connection as stated.FYI,our room number is 605.

    Reflects its low price”

    Price, location.

i'm under the impression this was once a nice 3- or 4-star hotel which has not been maintained over time. however, i'm a budget traveller so i can't complain; price is low and i get in-room bathroom, tv, aircon. there are mosquitoes in the room so wear insect repellant indoors in addition to outdoors. window wouldn't shut, but i managed to close it after some struggle.

    not recommended”

the room was creepy. it is quite dirty. the worst of all was the bathroom which was so small. the bathtub looks scary that i just use the pipe on the floor to clean myself. there is no telephone in the room that you need to go to the counter to request for anything. the location is also far from the central of the town. you need to sit tuk tuk as you are not familiar with the road.

it's good enough to sleep in but don't expect much”

    Quiet, spacious, has eateries nearby

For the amount I paid for it was good enough. If you can ignore moldy bathrooms and ceilings and walls. There were plenty of power outlets. There was a cockroach once. They "cleaned" the room everyday and gave a bottle of water in the fridge. It is a 10,minute walk to anywhere but the place was quiet and the surroundings were well lit at night.

only bedroom is ok, the bath tub was very old and bad condition, no wifi in our room only at hotel lobby, lift very old too, can be used 1 instead of 2 lift. also the key system, very hard to open doors, need to try 5 to 8 times till able to open doors.

    Not a pleasant stay”

Cheap central and lots of food around

The receptionist was very nice, yet the hotel was extremely old and not attractive. The corridor was old due to the dim light and old carpet. There was a dust smell in the room. One of the lamp was broken. Though, there are sufficient facilities(TV, shower, bath, sink and fridge). Overall, it's okay if we consider the number of facilities with the room's price, but I would pay a bit higher for a better hotel.

    cheap rooms with bathtub! ”

that both the chambermaid and i, both managed to leave our keys in the room on the same day, at the same time. she left the masterkey. so had to go into the room by the 6th floor window

cheap rooms with bathtub! actually this is the first time i have managed to get a room in this hotel (4th stay already) that had a working bathtub. it's kind of like a cracker-jack prize - you never know what you are going to get in the room: some rooms reek of sewage, some rooms the airconditioner doesn't really work (applies to this time), some rooms the lighting doesn't work, and most often the bathtub doesn't work either. but then, there are the times when you do get a tub that does run and it is amazing!!! cheap rooms with working bathtubs!!!

    Simple, suitable for backpackers”

    cheap, affordable, low cost

OK, just nice for short stay & low cost budget. Located near to the poet tai night market and hat yai hotspot Lee Garden Plaza area. Not suitable for family, ok for backpackers who are not looking to spend a lot of time in the room.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet”

practically, there were none. the only thing I can think of is the cheap price for the rooms

Basically, Emperor was a run down hotel. They only have one serviceable floor for guests. Much of its interior was dilapidated, the carpets were dirty, corridors were gloomy as they were dimly-lit. There are no other facilities in this hotel and no internet connection in the rooms.

old hotel, but has some nice feeling in building”

quiet when without tour groups or tourists who keep their tv on all night.

not very good this time. room was bad condition, and you would think that staff would be happy to see a returning customer, but no - this is thailand: first time they see you, you are a guest, they smile at you; second time, you are a nuisance that they have to put up with, and they scowl at you. sad, but as all things thailand, c'est la vie

old hotel, but has its charms”

high ceilinged room, friendly helpful staff, quiet when without tour groups

okay, it was good. quiet, which was very nice. the rest of the hotel has already been written about extensively, it would seem. if you do your homework and read up, then going there will be without great expectations. in that case, then, it is actually rather a nice place (once discounting all that has been said about it, especially its age). essentially a grand (thai-grand) old hotel feeling its age a bit. but still, well built, unlike present day box concoctions with paneling instead of walls between rooms. so it's sturdy and there is a nice feel to the place.

    great and value for money”

clean and tidy, cheap, close to 7/11

cheap room value for money, easy to public transport and just walking distance to 7/11, excellent wifi speed available at the hotel lobby. The only advantage is there's no cafe in this hotel but thanks to the 7/11 close to the hotel.

    Old hotel”

    None

The hotel location is not very central. The building is very old and not maintained. Mosquitoes in the room, requested for insect spray and they did provide. We spent a night before heading to Songkla so it's ok. But there are many other nice, clean and cheap hotel in Hatyai.
