My awful experience at the Al Massa Hotel!”
1) Very very slow check-in and check-out processed by incompetent staff 2) I asked for a non-smoking room but I ended up with a smoking room with awful smell 3) I had to take my luggage up by myself to my room because the bell captain was in LUNCH BREAK and no one else even offered to help!!! 4)The bed linen was stained and the color was near grey than white! 5)There were no amenities whatsoever in the room! 6) The odour insdie the wooden closets was horrible...I couln't use it! 7)The bathroom was the biggest joke...it was LITERALLY leaking from everywhere....the wash basin mixer was not fixed to the base and I had to hold it with my hand to use it....No towels or tissues were provide and I had to ask for it and and ....it's a long list but the worst of all was that THERE WAS NO TOILET SEAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and when I complained they said it's the only room available!!! 8)I paid for room in advance and they provided me with an invoice that shows NO PAYMENTS!! THE WORST EVER..

Advantages: Good lobby Helpful bellboy Disadvantages: -Not clean (found a cockroach in the bathroom) -the bathroom had som small holes in it -the facilities are wore out -Ask for non-smokinh room to get a smoking room -slow staff and not organized -staff are not friendly to locals - no water heater -no Internet I've been into eight countries and many hotels going down to a$20 a day but this one is by far the worst. I don't know how it's a hotel

my favorite hotel in al-jimi, al-ain area of uae!!”
Great Rooms, Hallways & Lobby Areas!!!
i've always liked being in al-ain, uae as well as staying in the al-jimi area of al-ain as well, which is very landscaped, laid back and relaxing. the al-massa hotel is well designed and comfortable to be in, but it's a bit too pricy with being in us dollars range or dirhams per nite, which is very high when/if you are transitioning from a pervious job which ended over 3 months while still search for other options in the uae, which i've been doing, but have't found yet. i still like and think well of the al-massa hotel, but hope that they'll start to change their policy with having a weekly or monthly rate, not just nightly rate for someone such as myself who as stayed with them 3 times so far in recent months. there needs to be a new policy where some one such as myself who have stayed at al-massa regularly in recent weeks/months should be able to get some discounts/rewards for near future stays at al-massa again. weekly or monthly rates need to become part of al-massa as well starting soon. as the saying goes, less is more". when things are cheaper or more affortable, then they can get more guests to stay with them. thanks

the al-massa hotel is a very nice hotel in al-ain!”
very nice & functional hotel with good basic service!!!
overall, i've always felt comfortable staying at the al-massa hotel in wonderful al-ain area of the uae. it's a great zone to chill out in via vacations or even mini-retirements while looking for other work chances and deepening your spiritual/emotional feelings as well.

POINT OF VIEW”
I have photos on how the room looked like and it was very disappointing to see such a nice hotel in such bad condition. The air con was making extreme noise, the linen on the bed was torn, the towels in the bathroom looked older than my 14 year old towel, the pillows were extremely soft, I had a bath which i could not use because there was no plug for the bath. This was really a bad experience. It does not help the staff are all friendly and the rooms look so bad.

No Internet In the Rooms lol”
This is the worst experience so far in the UAE, toilet flush was broken, no complementary water which i find embarrassing, staff took a century to confirm my booking & the worst part is ... no internet in the rooms. NO INTERNET as you read & staff said its management decision. I see whoever owns this hotel has to fire the manager instant. He has no clue what hospitality is its a shame for arabian hospitality.

Al Massa Hotel”
Location, Price and Friendly Staff
We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Al Massa Hotel since the staff was quite friendly. We stayed at a suite which had spacious bedroom and hall with extra bed for a family of 3 adults. The hotel is close to Al Jimi Shopping Mall and most of the other shopping malls are 10 to 20 mins. by car. For non-smokers request for roooms which are in no smoking area. There is ample parking space.

Un welcoming, lacks basic facilities”
Centrally located
Hotel tried their best to resolve the issue ie changed the room twice because of smelly bathroom and leaky air conditioning unit. Non the less little things like having to ask for towels, loose bathroom fittings, no plugs on table lamps, extra blankets not available, no internet availability in bedrooms, no restaurant or a cafe in the building but having to go to the sister hotel next door. Forced us to check out earlier.

Convenient”
Location, Location, Location
I just moved to Al Ain and needed a place to stay while I was looking for a permanent flat. The room was OK but it smelled like smoke the entire time though, supposedly, the room was a non-smoking room. Honestly, it was stifling. Only internet access in the lobby which was inconvenient. The staff was very helpful when I needed directions and other help. The hotel is good in a pinch.

Just fine for 1 week night stay”
Spacious single room, friendly staff and accessible (al jimi district)
It was just fine for a 1 week stay (only for sleeping at night). No breakfast included. The staff are friendly, but the service is not just that really good. Had experience problem on the toilet flush and have to transfer to another room. But the spacious single standard room on the alley area is a plus factor. Could say the fee is quite expensive for that level of quality. One big factor I see, is because they are the only hotel in al Jimi district. Competition wise, they've got really an advantage. But all in all, my stay was just fine. not really good, yet not that bad.

Not a good place to stay...”
A good staff
The only good thing about in this hotel is that the room is a bit spacious, though you can here from inside your room people that is talking outside , passing by your door. The hallway smell like your inside a bar. the smell of cigar is all over the area. Even inside the room. Its unbearable.

Old rooms... ”
This was a last minute check in as I had to stay the night in Al Ain. I was surprised at how basic and run down the room was. There were no towels. Had to ask the reception for that. The safe was not working. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The table and chairs that were meant for having dinner on lootked like they had gone through a lot of punishment. No tea or coffee nor was there any water. Had to order those and got charged for it. The only saving grace was a big bead and the free breakfast that came with the agoda offer.

Very Good & Relaxing Location of Al-Massa Hotel”
Rooms are very nice to be in.
Overall, it's a very good hotel to stay in, but it's also a bit expensive, especially when you are transitioning and/or unemployed for several months. There needs to be discounts for previous guests who've stayed at Al-Massa Hotel for over 2 weeks and/or previously. The cheaper any hotel is within the $25-$35 US Dollar range globally, the better for longer stay, especially when unemployed and trying to survive.
