Milano Serviced Apartments
Melbourne CBD,Melbourne - View on map
"This is my third time staying in a serviced apartment in Melbourne and I would say that Milano Serviced Apartments is the best so far. I am a clean freak in terms of bathroom cleanliness and I was rather surprised that the bathrooms of Milano were sparkling clean and the corners in the bathrooms were not infested with filth or algae growth. I checked myself into a 2-Bedroom Executive room and was glad to find myself with a spacious kitchenette, a 6-pax dining table, a leather sofa, 2 king-sized beds and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower and another with a bathtub). The room was painted in white and thus it gave a fresh feeling and the carpet did not produce a moldy feeling. The washing machine in the room was clean too and it did not leave any residue on my clothes (which happened to me in other serviced apartments). Milano Serviced Apartments was also the tallest apartment that I have ever stayed in and the view was magnificent. So much that I could even navigate myself perfectly well by looking out of my 30th floor veranda before starting my day! The location of Milano is great too. It is right in the middle of Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria Market, which made travelling to the two places easy. Also, there is an ALDI supermarket just next to Milano. No worries for grocery shopping at all! As much as it is a serviced apartment, the comfort that it provided made me feel like home more. Well done Milano!"

"Absolutely outstanding customer service, everyone was so friendly. wonderful room on the 35th floor, amazing view! It was a little noisy from the freeway but not enough to stop us sleeping . A nice walk into the CBD, we felt very safe with our young children walking in the neighbourhood . We have just found out hotel that we will stay at whenever we have to travel to Melbourne! "

Arrow On Swanston Apartments
Melbourne CBD,Melbourne - View on map
"I'd read quite a few reviews before heading to Melbourne and was a little apprehensive about what I'd find at 'Arrow'. Now, having returned home I'm puzzled as to what the negative comments were all about! While the foyer could do with an upgrade, the location is ideal for looking around Melbourne (a 5 minute walk to Lygon Street, a 12 minute walk to Queen Vic Markets), the staff were very helpful and polite, the room was small but clean and had everything that I needed and the bathroom, while the size of a normal en-suite, was more than sufficient for taking a shower etc. The bedroom was small but the reality is, you sleep there! It doesn't have to be enormous! The sheets were crisp and clean, the mirrored wardrobe had hangers, and there was a desk/table as well as a bedside table, great bedside light and clock. While the bed was a little firm for my liking the pillows were good. Although there was some noise at night, what else would anyone expect from a hotel in the middle of a major city, next to a main thoroughfare, on a Friday and Saturday night? The noise came from outside and when the windows were closed, the noises all but disappeared. If the temperature was a problem, there was an air-conditioner. All in all, the apartment was ideal for what I wanted. If you want 5 star then stay in a 5 star establishment but if you want something at a reasonable price which is clean, convenient and comfortable, then stay at 'Arrow on Swanston'. I'll be back and would have no problems recommending it to others."

"Was on a vacation with my family in melbourne for 2 weeks and had my fair share of apartments in the cbd. But this is by far the best. Will definitely stay here if i come back again. Rooms were bright modern and fully equipped with kitchen utensils. Smart TV in the living room with many channels. Nice balcony to enjoy the city view. The best was the 24/7 hot showers which is a rare thing in Melbourne apartments as the hot water usually run out in old buildings. Comfy beds and clean bath towels were provided. There was also a washing machine and dryer in the room. Free wifi with strong connection. Just 15 mins walk away from Southern Cross station where you can take the skybus to the airport. sealife aquarium and bridge to crowne plaza is at your doorstep. 7-11 and some cafes just across the road. Free city tram stops right at the doorstep too that you can take to Elizabeth street, Queen Victoria market etc. Nice quiet comfy apartment that provided my family a good 5 days rest after our day trips. Wouldn't ask for anything more :) The only minor downside was the check in as there was no counter and the office is closed on the weekend when we checked in on sunday. So make sure you take down a couple of numbers on their website to have a number to call when you arrive and the staff will be there in no time. They were also kind enough to provide luggage storage for free before and after I checked in and checked out. Very value for money. Strongly recommended."

"Pros - Beautiful / clean apartment, good location as it is near to shops / trams / Melbourne Central Station / restaurants and supermarket, the Staff at Level 3 is helpful in allowing us to keep our luggage after check out, washing machine. Cons - Pots and pans need change due to wear and tear, there is no dryer for clothing after washing and no place to dry your clothing. Overall, our 1 night stay was good and satisfactory. We would definitely booked this apartment if we visit Melbourne again."

"Our stay started on a good note with our apartment being upgraded to a penthouse apartment. Right from when we opened the door we were greeted with a lovely clean room. The kitchen had excellent facilities and the apartment in general was spacious. The view was fabulous and with a small but adequate balcony we were able to go outside to enjoy it even more. The bathroom once again was lovely and clean with a good shower. Having a laundry was a bonus as well if you were having a longer stay. The bed was huge, a little bit on the firm side but still comfortable. I thought being right in the Melbourne CBD that it might be on the noisy side but it wasn't at all maybe being on the 20th floor helped that as well. The gym facilities were adequate but didn't all have working monitors which was a bit of a shame. The restaurant was lovely with really friendly staff. We ate there two nights because of the good food and lovely staff. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Medina Grand Melbourne Apartments and would definitely stay again. "

"People in the mall downstairs didnt know there was a apartotel facility above, its that unknown. Till we got in touch with the usherer at the agency that lets it out - we could not find an entrance to it despite being under it all the time. Once in we realized we had hit the jackpot in terms of location facilities and value for money. Everything we needed to make our first family holiday in Melbourne great was easily available and accessible including transport - so we could make best use of money by not being in a hote per se but in an apartment where we could afford good Melbourne raw materials for meals - while the fancy bars downstairs catered to our wheat beer fixation. "After an eventful trip from Northeast Victoria it was a wonderful experience to be made welcome by the helpful staff and then to settle into a very comfortable and well appointed room. I would highly recommend Adara Richmond to family and friends as I believe it rates amoungst the best in Melbourne for cleanliness, location to public transport, Sproting facilities, Hospitals, theatres etc and the cost was unbelievably value for money."

"Nice overnight stay and was happy that it was clean and had munchies and drinks in the room as many serviced apartments don't. Our room was a bit pokey (bathroom and bedroom) considering the size advised. Maybe the floor layout and it was heavily booked, so probably didn't get the best of room. The bed was comfy though. Staff were very courteous and don't forget to ask for the discount (25%)for the parking on Franklin St as every little bit helps. :) I don't think I would consider a long stay though unless there was a better layout room with bigger bathroom and bedroom and more modern furniture. All fixtures were of a decent standard but not exceptional. You get what you pay for but it was acceptable for a quick stay."

Tribeca Serviced Apartments

"I booked this to attend a business meeting in Melbourne. While it was a few km from the meeting venue and it is not in the middle of all the action in the city it is fully offset by the comfortable rest and and general comfort of the place. It was a pleasant walk into the city and the surrounding area is very pleasant. A supermarket is located next to the hotel. I will stay here again because the peace and comfort far outweigh the short distance to the city."
