We travelled with an infant & a 4 year old and we feel that this apartment is great for us. Rooms and toilet were clean. They have a washer & dryer with complimentary detergent (mini ones). The room has a dinnind area and tv area too. Not forgetting the small but useful kitchen. I wish we had stayed few more nights.

My family and I was very surprised with the quality of the room. We booked the Ocean view and the room given to us (two adults and two children under 10) was a very modern, recently refurbished room, with two ambient (one for the couple and one for the children, with a bunk bed) with split system air-conditioning and electronic lock at the front door. The room was presented very clean, with new furniture and staff at the reception was very friendly. The only suggestion I have for improvement is that the front door is not sealed, and there was a strong cold wind entering the room. A simple door sealant around the door frame and under the door would fix the issue. I would not suggest this particular room for families which have both children over 10 years old, as the space between the lower and upper beds on the bunk bed is quite narrow, and can be a bit claustrophobic for older kids. We had a great experience and would highly reccomend North Pier Hotel.

We really loved the little cottage for two. There was a coles and woolworths just round the corner. It was not too far from the penguin parade. The Koala Conservation Centre was also on the way to the cottage. The room was complete with a small sitting area with a little full kitchenette. The bath was also very big. Though you need to pay extra if you want to use the fireplace.

Easily accessible hotel, family friendly. Great if you have kids as they have plenty of play ground and pool. There’s exclusive access to the beach which we really love. The rooms are clean and tidy. Most likely will stay here again next time we’re back at Phillip Island

The Castle is a beautiful boutique style hotel in a quiet street only 2 blocks from the shopping and approx 100 metres to the beach. The owners are really lovely and you wouldn't even know there was anybody else staying at the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated whether it be the bedroom, living room or courtyard.

Loved it. Spacious, older but clean and cannot fault the facilities. Staff should be commended for their wonderful customer service. Will know for next time to ask for beds to be split into singles in the "kids rooms" rather than leaving them made up like a queen. Great to see accomodation which asks guests to seperate rubbish and recycling - and provides bins for both in the apartment. Will definitely stay here again and have already recommended to others.

Jeannette and Bill are perfect hosts and we can only agree with a reviewer whose review we read before we chose Seas the Day, that they think of everything. It's so true. Every small detail to provide comfort and delight is thought of, and provided with such joy and friendliness. Seas the Day is a cut above the rest when it comes to B&Bs, in fact we think it's the best one we've ever stayed at, e-v-e-r! Highly, highly recommended. Oh, and we shouldn't forget the breakfast which was fit for a king. (We doubt even Henry VIII would have been able to finish it!!).

As with always just ring before arrival to confirm booking and sort out late arrival details. We might have had a slightly less smooth arrival to the island otherwise so late at night.

Traveler impressions of Phillip Island
Fantastic for seeing native animals. The scenery is also pretty good. You don't need to leave the island for anything, except maybe a whole fish to cook.
Surprisingly you have to go to San Remo to get a whole fish to bake and not on the island. Go figure
We loved our visit to Phillip Island and wish we could stay longer. Recommend staying at least 3 nights.
When it's busy there, the local shops (particularly the food shops) appear run off their feet and several times ran out of basic food items.
This place also had several shops with $20 minimum charges for eftpos.
Many different amazing and varied beaches, bay side or surf side. Wildlife galore. Nature parks, farmland as well as suburbia.
Very impressive to see so many penguins in the Penguin Parade though it was very cold on the beach and we had to wait for over an hour! We are also very lucky to see a lot of kangaroos by the road side when driving to the Nobbies Centre.
The Go Karts also impressed our big kids vert much!
great place to have a holiday or short break excellent restaurants close to the beach and shopping here is great the accommodation are great here and friendly staff
I have spent a lot of time at this destination since I was a small child. It continues to get better and better and I now enjoy it with my adult children.
Highlight is the Penguin Parade, also check out the Churchill Island homestead and Koala Centre. The Bobbies is well worth a visit.
There are also many nice walks and tracks on the island.
It was such a beautiful place with all wildlife around you. There are wild koalas, penguins (I saw one on the road !) and with the churchill farm, u can meet up with a lot of animals.
This is the best place to bring children and they are so happy to see real wildlife and animals. There is a chocolate factory to visit when weather is not good.
I really love the penguin paradise and the A maze thing. There are full of fun. Remember to bring a large coat when go to see the penguin.
i love philip island. The scenery is breathtaking, feel so relax and my baby enjoy visiting the farm seeing all the animal and the penguin parade is the most go place.
Apart from the animals and wildlife, not a very friendly place to visit. Just go for the animals will be fine; nothing else.
Spend time to visit Churchill Farm, as it is a great place for young children and adults who live in City.
A fantastic experience to get up close and personal to nature, sheeps and horses. There are other attractions such as Penguin Parade, Chocolate Factory, Amaze and Things to explore.
2 days one night trip should be sufficient for Penguins Parade, Heritage Farm + Koala Conservation centre.
Get the 3 in 1 park ticket.
Recommend to stay at least 2 nights at Philip Island... so can enjoy the hotel stayed and all the nature, beach & sun.
.. and of course, night show for the small little penguin!
Seal rock cruise was great for all ages. Chocolate factory is a must do for all ages, Amaze n Things is great for families with young kids.
Penguin parade etc is fantastic too and check out the beaches and the boardwalk near the Nobbies- it's spectacular.
if you like nature life, you must visit here. Here's you can see penguins, kangaroos, koalas etc. You may also visit chocolate factory, nature park, amaze n' things.
Lovely place for family with kids.Kid loves the wild life, and the beaches. It is a great pleasure to drive around the island.
Loved the friendliness of the locals. Very peaceful and easy going lifestyle. Just a great place to unwind amongst the natural beauty of the island.
plan in advance to get the most out of it. Speak to the local tourist office, and go to Maru, before you get to Philip Island.
Do free stuff, just go to the beach. Nice locals.
Bear in mind that the Heritage Park looks amazing, although I tried to visit and drove quite a way along the drive/road which turned off the main road, only to find that about half way down, the drive turns to gravel.
Due to a disability I have, I cannot drive along gravel for too much of a distance so I ended up having to turn back. This should be mentioned in the brochure. I also visited the Chocolate factory, which was very good. I went on my own, so was a bit wary about whether or not it would be any good for an adult on their own, but it definitely was worthwhile.
Had a lovely time at Phillip Island. It is very picturesque and quiet in late April. Much to see and do.
Ideal for a short stay.
Place to watch the penguin parade, nobbies and wombats, there is also the chocolate factory to visit.
Great place, make sure you go to the usual attractions (Penguins, Seal Rock, etc.) and also the Wildlife park for a goos opp to hand feed kangaroos and wombats.
Small island which includes most unit features in Victoria like the heritage farm at Churchill, Koala observation and the sea/bay.
Of course Penguin parada is a MUST to see if you are in the island.
There were a number of cafes and a great RSL club that provide good quality meals/snacks and refreshments.
The coastline is worth exploring and the cute penguins are a must see.
I love Phillip Island. Have been many times and never get sick of it. Beautiful beaches, so long as you look outside of the main beach at Cowes, good surfing, sports, bushland and general atmosphere.
It is a very relaxing place to be. The main town can get a tad hectic in Summer, but the rest of the island is always very quiet.
