Very artistic, very comfortable ”

We really enjoyed staying here - the only trouble is you don’t want to leave. The artistic interiors really impressed us and we appreciated he balcony. The beds and bath robes were ultra comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a short Uber ride or easily accessed by public transport from the CBD. Our room didn’t really have a view, but the inside was so beautiful we didn’t mind at all! Very pleasant stay.

My husband and I have stayed here on more than one occassion, it is central and not too an expensive Uber ride to many of the city attractions. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the kitchen in the room is great. We have always been made to feel welcome at check in. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Awesome boutique hotel”

This was a great boutique hotel, the rooms were big and the studio one I had came equipped with a nice balcony, convection oven/microwave, stove top, full size fridge/freezer, a breakfast table/chair and a VERY comfortable bed/pillows. It felt very spacious and stylish! bathroom was small but lots of storage cabinets. Oh and there was a cheap laundry room on the floor which was very useful. The staff were very friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. As for location it close to South Yarra ( not in St. Kilda just on st. Kilda road.. ) but there's a tram right out front that gets u to CBD in 10 mins. You could also walk in about 20-30 ( but I Uberd mostly). I had a very lovely stay-would def stay again and recommend to others. Cheers!

I love staying here because it is close to our Melbourne office and I can grab a coffee and delicious croissant before I go each morning. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant also serves great food and wine. Highly recommended.

Great location ”

A great location and a comfy bed. Pillows aren't great - all feathers and air. We were only supplied with one towel and had to ask several times before we received an extra towel. We weren't informed before we arrived that we would have to pay extra for parking.

Modern Chic comfortable Hotel”

The Blackman hotel is a modern Chic Hotel located between Commercial Road and Toorak Road and there is a tram stop just metres from the front door. The rooms are a reasonably good size comma and are fitted out with a full size fridge, bathrobes and a safe, a microwave and cooktop comma crockery cutlery and an electric jug. The bed is a pillow top bed with a doona and it is comfortable. The room also has a table and chairs a desk and chair and an LCD TV with limited cable channels. The downfall is the bathroom which is very small and the shower has average water pressure. The location is good with easy access to the CBD Prahran or St Kilda by using the tram and as it is out of the city it is nice and quiet so you get a good sleep.

Good location ”

Location is close to major tram route and you can get to city ( 10 mins)! St Kilda (10mins) or chapel st via commercial rd or Toorak rd 10/15 mins so it’s quite central Plenty of coffee/cafes around area Flinders st station is 10mins by tram and from there you can get to the airport by train go to broad meadows train station and get the 901 airport bus right out the front and you can use your my ki card all included

This hotel is in top 5 in Melbourne but...”

It is remotely from city center located hotel. 17 floors and minimalist decoration with modernist pictures all around. Rooms are spacious and rather comfortable. What we hated strongly was so called''breakfast'''.It was first 5* hotel during our long years traveling without buffet breakfast!What they offered a la cart was a disaster. And even for second cup of coffee they took extra charge! But staff was very friendly and helpful
