Good location, great place”
stayed one night before taking the ferry to kangaroo island. it is a nice quiet place and we love the atmosphere. we booked a log cabin which is very comfortable for the four of us. only took a few mins driving down hill to the ferry terminal. one negative is the bathroom sliding door that is not smooth or i should say broken. if you close fully, you may not be able to open it again.
Our room was a great size! Much bigger than I was expecting. The bathroom was modern. The only bad thing was we couldn't get any phone signal in our room because of the stone walls. The wifi is only in the bar area. We picked this place because it was close to the ferry terminal. It was less than 5 minutes down the road, so was perfect for that.
Nice place and great friendly staff!”
We liked the place we had early ferry to Kangoroo Island, so we needed to stay somewhere close. There is big nothing in Cape Jervis, but Caravan Park is a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff and wifi without limits. If you go to Kangoroo Island, this is a place to stay. :)
Good cottage for night before Ferry”
We've got a good cottage with a small bedroom. Our children slept on the sofa converted into the bed in the living room. The farm is far from any town and you can see a lot of stars at night. Very close to the ferry at Cape Jervis
Standard stay when travelling to kangaroo island ”
This is a good choice for people travel to kangaroo island considering the reasonable price and location. Mainly self managed. We travelled with a 7 months baby, the stayed was good and it's fairly quite at night.
Great information and help, cute little cottage ”
Would stay here again, accommodation was comfy, clean, very cute. Staff were really helpful with an extra nights Accom, Sealink ferry cancelled due to bad weather. Helpful with places to visit to fill in our extra day and where to eat.
Gateway to Kangaroo Island”
we only stay there for 1 night and took the morning ferry from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island. I was glad I called the hotel in advance as we arrived the hotel very late (about 10pm), and no staffs would be there at that time. They turned on the light in cabin so we could find our cabin in the dark. The cabin was clean and spacious, and it had a well equipped kitchen. The only thing bad was the tap water, it was so yellowish, it wasn't potable at all.
Peace and quiet at the edge of Adelaide ”
We had 2 stays at cape jervis first before our trip to kangeroo island and second on our return. 1st stayed in log cabin, basic but clean and full of charm. Second the owners kindly upgraded us to Pine Lodge (thank you) the lodge was quaint with views over the working station. Station dogs came to greet us in the mornings, rio especially trying to get our breakfast. The station and our hosts were all very helpful and made both our stays enjoyable
Near to Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal”
Chose this cabin stay as it is less than 5 minutes drive to Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal for Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island, need not to rush in the early morning. Arrived late and the reception lady is waiting for us before closing, really shows their responsible. Cabin with parking lot, outdoor and indoor dining area. Behind the cabin is sheep farm. Cabin was big with kitchen, dining, living, bedroom and toilet. Almost score 100% till I took hot shower when water turns cold half way through bath. Next person has to wait for 1 hours before the shower is hot again. When time to sleep, found the bed and pillow were dusty and affect my wife sensitive nose.
A stone throw to Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal to KI”
We stayed at the Log Cabin which can sleep up to 4pax (1x double bed & 2 single beds). It's got a very cozy countryside décor and design. As it was winter, it will be better if a heater is provided within the room. Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this Log Cabin :)
Great room/s. We were greeted warmly, service goo”
Great location as we were travelling the following day to Kangaroo Island and had a ferry to catch in the am. Very good evening meal on the day we stayed. Only available on 3 nights of the week at this time of the year. Service and company of the owners was very good, and explaination of the surrounding area was very informative. Small problem with small centipedes which is a feature(!!) of the area but did not worry us uhduly, they are harmless. Breakfast was good and able to request what we wanted rather than being presented with more that is necessary.Altogether very comfy and no rush.
Was a nice, cosy place to stay, close to rapid bay which was great for us. Food on site in cafe was surprisingly really good as not many other options around. Loved the resident bird life, woke up to Guinea fowl out back our room n the sound of cockatoos, also magpies, chickens and some ducks are about. Staff were lovely. Clean n serves its purpose. Only issue was the squeaky bed which drove me insane everytime we moved but for one night its bearable
Being from the land, to stay in this rural setting was fantastic. In the unit I stayed in the facilities were basic but satisfactory for my stay.
Thanks for the review, glad you like our property, sorry about the delay getting back to you
Short break to catch the earliest or latest ferry”
+ close to ferry, duoun room is big - water for shower is so weak and salt, restaurant closes quite early at 7pm, far from town, too much noisy by birds, lots of insects inside bathroom.
Great!!! Would surely visit again and recommend”
Fantastic Location and accommodation... we stayed in pine cottage which was really good with decent facilities ... its the location of this property which makes it worth to stay at cape jervis
Lovely stay ”
Very friendly staff, Beautiful Rooms, amazing birds, next to the Ferry.
Nice and clean”
All in all good. The only point is customer might be charged for unwashed dishes which is a bit odd.
Neat and tidy ”
I had issue with Kettle which then turn into Powerpoint issue. Staff were happy to assist and fix the faulty kettle and power supply
Lovely outlook & close to the ferry.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed your stay
