Best hotels & accommodations in Aurangabad

the location, plan off the hotel of having the rooms around the pool with a waterfall is brilliant. the staff of frontdesk, resturant, and room service were excellent. the only problem was that the tv was small and did not have enough channels, the should at least have lcd tv in the rooms. overall had one of the best holidays of my life in hotel lemon tree aurangabad.

Located on the city main road, yet not far from Airport, Good Restaurant and Food. well mannered Staffs. Good to see a lot of Foreign tourists as well. Note for Manager:: Suggest to keep in mind that Aurangabad has all early morning flights before 7.00am; thus, need enough reception-staff support specifically early-morning (atleast more than 1) to handle early-mornin...

My husband, 4 year old daughter, my father and I stayed at this hotel in Nov 2019 when we came from Vancouver, Canada to see the Ellora Caves in Aurangabad. Grand Kailash is located in a very central location. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it had one of the nicest showers I've experienced at a hotel. The water pressure was amazing. The staff are extremely...

I had 4 days in this well managed hotel in August. Room was very clean. Even room was small there was enough space for my big suitcase for opening on the floor next to bed. The bathroom was modern and stylist with good water pressure in shower. Location of hotel is very good and there is D Mart next to hotel. Service was excellent and food very good. I will definitely...

We had to book at the last moment and we didn't regret booking this hotel. They don't a restaurant but there a hotel called kareem's below the hotel which server amazing food both veg and non veg. If i visit again, i will stay in hotel pearls and have lunch dinner in kareem's(biryani and rolls)

I guess it's hard (I'm finding) to get away from the traffic on a reasonable budget in India but I did find the road noise particularly bad (I did ask to be moved around the back to no avail) and two out of three nights loud music started from what I believe is a kind of small place of worship at 6:40am and carried on till about 10am...not the best! Having said that I...

We only stayed one night (previously Hotel Gurjas). Paid for a superior room and felt the benefit of a decent mattress. Right next to Aurangabad train station. Much quieter in the room (possibly better windows) TV channels were good - English films. Hot water available Would stay here again

Pros... Reception staff extremely helpful, in particular Mr Kailash did not have mobile phone as foreigners but Mr Kailash was very willing in offering us the use of this phone as well as called taxi men and make them understand your requirements.Staff understand a foreigners difficulty arising from lack of local knowledge. Room service is good and they are keen to pro...

i was the only international guest among several local wedding guests. the room was acceptable, bit noisy due to wedding. most staff while spoke english (india is the world's largest english speaking country), they had no ability to deal with international guests. the director of food & beverages was so hospitable that on the day of my check-out, he came at 5:30 in the...

I visited this property after 2 years and was surprised to see a completely new hotel! It has become very beautiful. stayed in winter green room. Breakfast spread was exceptional and delightful. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had even in 5star hotels. Staff was warm and friendly too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aurangabad.

Booked 2 Rooms for 04 persons in advance, but this Lodge made us to wait for one hour to give us one room only. The other room was not available and was not given to us. Four persons had to adjust in 03 single beds. Room was not having basic facilities such a waste paper basket, intercom etc. Continuous water leakage in Bath room/ Toilet. This Lodge has no restauran...

Pros Price was budget-level. Room equipped with almost every convenience except hairdryer. Free wifi in the room quite decent, but limited to 2 devices Cons Entrance/reception lobby shabby, though inside the room ok, generally clean, though in need of serious upgrade to avoid discoloration marks in bathroom floor, walls & wash basin area. Some aircons not working ...

We opted for this budget hotel as we had fewer options for last minute booking. We did not have a good feeling of hotel looking from outside the moment we arrived, but that was only till we got in. Even though there is construction going for their restaurant, the rooms were excellent. Also, service was excellent. All were very nice, especially their Manager Harshal was...

The Vivanta Hotel in Aurangabad had one outstanding feature: the staff! The young people that worked at this hotel could not do enough for us. They were outgoing, fun and kept us happy as guests. It seems that this hotel participates in an internship program and some of the staff we interacted with were college students but all of the staff were good. The restaurant wa...

this hotel is much more of the standards reached in europe or north america that those typically found in the 'budget' option in india. the room was clean, tidy and spacious and insulated against both sound and sunlight. the restaurant-attached-was modern and had a excellent menu. staff were incredibly helpful in recommending local sights to see, arranging transport, ...

Stay was nice, rooms were clean, food was nice. Reasonably priced. Few misses were that toiletries had to be asked. Staff said it'll be served only when asked, this was kind of turn off as these are basic. Also, drinking water is only bottles of 1/2 litre per day and that too in Suite I stayed. On asking one more bottle it was said more bottles will be billed. Come on ...

The Yuvraj provided us a little oasis, as US travelers a little worn from 2+ weeks. We had, likely, the best room, with a bay window-type space. There was a very good thali restaurant attached and locals popular restaurant right next door. As ever, the hotel staff arranged drivers for us to Ellora and Ajanta caves. Aurangabad is a pleasant-sized city. The price won ou...

It is okay if one is interested in having night stay at Aurangabad and roams around during daytime. We stayed there for four nights and it was satisfactory. Two of our three rooms booked had no hot water facility but the staff did arrange it. The caretaker of this hotel did provide us the breakfast and tea whenever we had requested. The rooms were cleaned upon our requ...

Even though the room I stayed is a non AC room, it's well satisfactory and staffs are much friendly. Environment inside hotel and the food served in its restaurant are well good. It's well close to Aurangabad railway station and in a KM distance from this hotel SBI ATM is available. ICICI bank ATM is also available in a KM distance in the other side. I recommend this...

Overall, the staff here was very helpful, the restaurant was clean and reasonably priced. The downside was that the rooms were dated and the sheets had stains and were definitely not clean. Overall, this may be as good as it gets in Aurangabad though in the price range.

We booked this hotel to stay over on out trips to ajanta and ellora. The hotel was kind enough to let us check in at midnight. The bed and bath we neat and clean. We booked an AC room which was good considering the October heat. The only drawback was the chatter from neighbouring rooms in the morning.

Check in took forever, hygiene approach below any level, they even tried to fill in thermos with just warmed water from a tap, and were unhappy when I insisted on booling the water When I saw how they do dishwashing, I realised that it is safer to forget about their breakfast The room description does not mention that they have only veg breakfast, so be aware One n...

The manager Surej was very helpful & provided instructions on how to reach Ellora and Ajanta via public transport, as well as recommendations for ordering at the attached restaurant. He advised about the correct rates to pay Rickshaw drivers, which saved me plenty! It's a bit far out from Aurangabad, but worth it for the value. Thanks!

We stayed in Admiral Suites for 3 nights. The room we've booked (Executive) was comfortable and clean like shown at the pictures. We very enjoyed raking a bath. Very friendly staff, which helped us continuing our traffel by looking for trains and plains. The "Restaurant" on the roof offered good quality food. Only once we were disappointed by breakfast but dinner ever...

We booked into the Hotel JP International after having a very disappointing experience with the Treebo Sonia. The staff at the Hotel JP were terrific. Plenty of markets to explore nearby, including a great little sweet shop. The hotel has its own vehicle for airport transfers and a very early start was not an issue. The food was good but the restaurant could have been ...

The Hotel is a 3/5 when it comes to stay experience. Service- While the service was pretty quick in terms of room service or housekeeping staff. The front desk did not have a basic necessity like a first aid kit. Location- It is situated right in the city centre and is easily accessible to go to any corner of aurangabad. Food- Food was overpriced in terms of qual...

Traveler impressions of Aurangabad
Good place for people who are interested in arts to see and enjoy the sclpultures of Ellora caves and Ajantha caves and enjoy the beauty of Mini TAj
Ellora and Ajanta are very close from Aurangabad. Must see the marvels of old Indian artists and architects.
After Pune which was quite western style in some parts Aurangabad is pure inida again. Very bad roads - and far from any western standards.
Within the city Autos are expensive for example a distance of 3 kms may be Rs 50/- and some 8 kms 100/-.
Quite historic and can be seen interesting places such as Bibi ka Makwara, Fort and gates created by Aurangazeb.
Aurangabad is not much to look at and was really dusty; however, there really are almost no tourist walking around the streets so you are free to explore without any touts bothering you.
Aurangabad is good place to stay if wish to visit Ajanta,Ellora,Biwi ka Maqbara, panchakki and want to do some shopping.

I'll never recommend this lodge(they call it hotel) to any one, right from the beginining of the trip everything is out of service and dirty, the bedsheets, cushions, pillow covers, doormat, washroom, I asked them to replace all with clean ones, which took almost 1 hour and the reason was they had only one staff attending all guests and also they had no clean bedsheets...
