"Swissbel's location is on pettitenget street where you can find many many chic cafes and upper class restaurant with a unique view like paddy's field, sun flower field, etc. What I love the most from this hotel is the paddy's field view specially during morning breakfast time, the view just simply awesome and relaxing and breakfast with paddy's field view is amazing!!! I can sit the whole day just to see the view ;) Room is comfortable and clean and value for money. If you looking for hotel's location near the stretch of Jalan Kayu Aya where you can find shopping mall like seminyak square, boutiques, bars, cafes such as sisterfields, revolver coffee, etc, or famous restaurant like Ultimo, The Bali Cafe, Batik, etc, then you should NOT consider this hotel because it quite a distance to reach there, 15 minutes at least by motorcycle or even more if you driving or taking cab as traffic is quite bad near Jalan Raya Kerobokan or Jalan Kayu Aya or sometimes at Jalan Sunset Road. It will be more convenience to rent motorcycle to go around if staying in hotel at Petitengget area including Swissbel Hotel. Anyway, all is good ;) and we both has amazing time here in Bali ;) Love you Bali more and more, definitely come back for another trip!!"

"I have stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. In general, the staff are attentive, friendly and warm. For example; I was greeted by name before checking in. Everything runs with a system. Not much waiting required. I have stayed in 7 different 4* hotels in Bali and this is by far one of the best value for money and comfortable one. Located in a quieter spot in seminyak but 10 minutes drive from seminyak square. I like that because you don't hear loud music or traffic. Walls are generally thin so if your room is near the lift lobby, you can hear conversations or footsteps. Pick a room further away from the lift if you are a light sleeper. Service staff are generally nice and warm. They will provide assistance in a jiffy without having to wait Long. I avoid breakfast in the hotel not because it's not good but I love to venture cafes. The breakfast selection in the hotel is decent. "

"I loved my stay at this hotel. We stayed at 3 hotels around Bali and this was the best. The staff were super friendly, and so nice with our baby. The staff helped us with all of our bookings, and travels to our next destination in Bali. We could have not have asked for a more pleasurable stay. The room was extremely clean, and our balcony view was really nice. The room was simple, but perfect for us who were rarely in the room. The grounds are on a busy streets however, when you walk back into the property you cannot hear anything and it is a small paradise. The only improvement I would suggest is getting baby chairs for the dining area. While we were there we saw many babies, so it would have been nice. But other than that my family and I could not have asked for a better stay!"

"At first, I was disappointed with the Haven. It was bad enough that my room wasn't ready upon my arrival, but they stuck me in a slightly depressing room with two twin beds because nothing else was available. (Check out my first impression on my blog To their credit, they offered to move me to a room with a king bed on my second night, and boy am I glad they did! The hotel has two entrances and two sections, and my new room had a more upscale interior design, and it was on the quiet side, near the entrance without heavy motorbike traffic and the one that's closest to the beach. Room No. 2 was comfortable and beautiful: big bathroom, nice poolside terrace and incredible bathroom amenities. My only complaint was that the Wi Fi could be painfully slow, but at least it worked. Of all the four-star Bali hotels I booked on Agoda, the Haven is the one that comes closest to maintaining four-star U.S. standards."

"This is the only hostel which I stayed longer (2 nights) in the duration of my travel. The dates of stay were booked separately. I was greeted with friendly hostel staffs. Free flowing water, coffee, and tea which I did not get with other hostels in Bali. Complimentary single glazed doughnut at Dough Darlings. The pool is tempting. The dorm room is cleaned everyday but it gets messier in the later day coz of cluttered bags in the floor. AC unit is really cold. Location of hostel is minutes walk to the beach. There is a cheap warung beside it. There is a bike rental but I did not go for it since I was too scared to drive in a busy and pressuring rural area. Kanpai!"

"The Kuta Paradiso Hotel was very nice with excellent facilities and a fantastic breakfast buffet (best we had in Indonesia)! I was a bit disappointed with the location of our room within the hotel (1st floor located above a bank of HVAC units that were loud and hot when outside on the balcony), but the room itself was fine. Location of the hotel is great, very close to the beach, a large market and central to tons of restaurants and shops. Too bad Kuta itself has become such a non-descript tourism ghetto. Nothing to do with the Kuta Paradiso Hotel, but I would not stay in Kuta again, I would look for a hotel near one of the other local beaches (e.g., Echo Beach) that are less crowded and still retain some Balinese character. There's nothing "Bali" about Kuta, unfortunately..."

"Hotel is cozy and rooms are clean (we stayed in two rooms - 4th floor and a pool access one). All the rooms get their fair share of sunlight which serves as a great wake up call, sunlight is nice for drying wet clothes too (not all hotels have access to sunlight I am afraid). If you are staying for long, you can even just wash your clothes and leave it too dry while you roam Bali - that's what we did. The is staff is friendly and great, they're always smiling. Housekeeping is almost always ready to clean your room too. The pool is great for cooling off after a hot day at the beach or even for day tours around Bali. You can drink beer by the pool too if you wanted. Although some room neighbors might tend to be loud if they're inconsiderate (not the hotel's fault), you can always ring up the front desk to have them keep the noise down anyway. Location is close to both Legian St. and the beach, food around is great and cheap. Convenience stores also abound so if you are awake and hungry in the middle of the night you can always grab a candy bar or beer if you wanted to anytime. Since Kuta is very dense and streets are small, you get to know shop owners and staff pretty quickly which is nice since they are all just very friendly. Just smile at them back and you might just win yourself good friends, great sources of information, and cheaper "special" deals on tours around Bali. It helps to pass by them everyday and this hotel allows you to do just that. Fantastic Hotel overall, perhaps the very best one I have ever booked in my life time when considering everything in and around the Hotel."
