"the hotel is really nice. it is new, and well kept. the breakfast is great, can not be much better. the vip floor does worth the extra money you pay for it. mini bar in the room is very very expensive, like most hotels in beijing, and way more expensive, then most countries in the world. location is great, can not be much better then that. it is right near the olympic stadium, and if you are here for convention or a sport event, that would be the place to stay. not too far from the center of the city, around 10 minutes taxi drive."

"The Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen is the best hotel option for you while in the Embassy area. It is a great location with lots of restaurants around, a convenience store, and very walkable pedestrian lanes. The check in and check out was quick with friendly and English-speaking front desk staff/. The room is clean, the bed and pillows are super comfortable and the hot shower was great! They have wifi which works well. The free breakfast was okay. Overall, a really great hotel for you to try."

"We have been choosing a hotel in Beijing for more than 2 days (fortunately, my wife was doing most of that job) and, as result, we finally chose the Novotel Xian Qiao Hotel Beijing and now we may definitely state that we made a right choice. Most of the Beijing sites of interest are either in the walking distance (the Tiananmen square, the Forbidden city, the Temple of Heaven, and even the Beihai park), or they can be easily reached by metro or by bus - the public transportation is quite good in Peking. Our advice is to maximally walk about the city to feel its spirit. Moreover, imho, it's better to use different city restaurants to be acquanted with the Chinese quisine. To visit the Great Wall, we used the hotel tour service, and we were also satisfied with the quality of that tour."

"intercontinental hotel is located very near the beijing olympic main stadium and swimming pool. yet close to the very central down town, the hotel is a real value to price with wonderful modern and luxurious facilities. rooms are very spacy and convenient. on every three floors, there's a common area where you can enjoy small talks with your friends or colleagues, or a informal meeting. swimming pool is one of the best pools in beijing hotels, or probably across the world."

"The hotel is right at Wangfujing Street and is only a couple minutes walk to the pedestrian-only section. A great location for food and shopping. Subway station is within walking distance, but I would advise taking a taxi to get there if you have luggage since it is several minutes of walk from the subway station. The hotel enforces the non-smoking rule pretty well. There was no cigarette smell in the lobby, corridor, and room. It is unusual in China. (Many five-star hotels in China don't enforce the non-smoking rule, even in non-smoking rooms.) If you can't stand cigarette smell, stay in this hotel. The room is kind of small and old but functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not much to choose from. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I will stay there again."

"we stayed for 5 nights in this hotel and took late check out. the hotel is quite new, so it has only basic facilities. the location is 3 minutes to silk street, the market where you can get everything for very cheap price. the hotel is also close to tube station, and from this tube station you can be connected to all beijing main attractions (tiananmen square, forbidden city, temple of heaven, lama temple, etc). next to the hotel is convenient store, so many restaurants, and banks. one minus point of this hotel is that the receptionists are not fluent in english (as in most hotels in beijing)."

"The above review is meant for the Bishop Lei International Hotel at Hong Kong which would not have the same review as below which I saw is for the Regent Hotel in Beijing. Since I booked both Hotel through Agoda, as you can see that I am very happy with the Regent Hotel, but not too satified with the Bishop Lei. Even though the rate is comparatively low, the facility is really outdated; it really needs a renovation even it means to increase the room rate a little."

"We stay at this hotel frequently, almost every time visiting Beijing (aprx once a month). As our business is close to Ritan park, this hotel is the best one to stay in. It's new, it's clean, even smells very fresh everywhere. Staff is perfectly helpful. Even for our partners who doesn't stay at the hotel, they're always ready to catch a cab for you, order reservation in restaurant or help with any other request. Rooms are great as well, you'll never regret if book a bit more expensive deluxe or business or family room - differs pretty much and feels a lot luxurious!"
