In House dining available with snacks and drinks available from office. Office hours 7am to 7pm.

I definitely recommend Palm Royale Cairns Resort! They have the best customer service I've experienced (and I've travelled a bit)! Prior to the trip, a family member became quite seriously ill and as a result, I had to forfeit my flight and only enjoyed 2 out of the 4 day's planned. However, much to my surprise, when I rang to ensure my final 2 night's accom. were still available, one of the hotel staff kindly offered not to incur any charges for cancelling the first two night's and even refunded the money, via Agoda, for the first two night's. I was able to enjoy two nights at the resort and was delightfully surprised at the standard of their pool view rooms - they were clean, comfortable and probably at a 4-star standard. one of the hotel staff was always helpful and went over and above to assist us with our enquiries. Overall, Palm Royale provided a great start to a lovely break in Cairns. Thanks to all the staff there!

The staffs at Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments are the BEST, i have been emailing them one month prior my booking's date to confirm on making reservations for the activities in Cairns. He has been super helpful and patience with all my questions and endless changes to the dates and activities. Since my flight arrived mid day on the first day, most activities would not be available for me to join, however the hotel staff were super helpful and helped us arranged a charter boat for half day fishing which could start later than usual.The hotel has also made the effort to contact me prior my departure date to confirm with me whether i needed a transfer. Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments also tried his best to accomondate our needs when we first checked in, since unfortunately 3 out of 5 people dropped out the trip last minute, he was being extremely helpful and made out stay much more enjoyable. I am also extremely grateful that he would do the extra mile on helping me mail one of my parcels back home, since i did not have time to do it myself. We lived in a three bed room apartment, it is gorgeous with the best view looking towards the ocean. The living is well furnitured and modern, each room is clean and well furntiured as well. The apartment has its own laundry room, kitchen and balcony. Jack & Newell Luxury Apartments is great and the staff made the stay perfect.

Very good service. Hotel nice and clean and staff very polite and helpful in pointing us in e right direction as we had only been in Australia for a few hours. Would recommended it as a stop gap or a good location to stay in in cairns.

This is a great resort, a short 45 minute ferry ride from cairns we stayed 3 nights.Being a resort guest gives you inclusions over day trippers which they need to pay for -towels -beach chair and umbrella -snorkel equipment -wetsuit or lycra suit -glass bottom boat -kayak hire -windsurfing with lesson Additionally, when there are only guests on the island (prior to 9.30am and after 4.30pm) they include- -breakfast -sunset drinks every evening -fish feeding -jetty walk with torches spotlighting for turtles and other sea life -island walk looking at tree life, birds, bats and ghost crabs These all all worth getting involved. Expect to spend at least $100 on dinner for a couple per night. There is only one restaurant open to eat in the evening, if you are a fussy eater or gluten free it’s best to discuss with staff prior. The food here is great! Definitely do the $85 beach picnic - great value Dining on the beach also available and go on the outer reef tour

My friend and I stayed for one night as we were transitting. I have stayed here over the years when it was previously known as the Cairns International. Nothing has changed seemingly. Everything is what can be expected from a 5 star hotel, superior service and quality fit out. I can also attest that another collegue of mine asked for the Presidential Suite, however it was already taken. The staff went to great lengths to cater for him in the No.2 Suite (the name escapes me). Very luxurious as you can imagine. Both rooms were on the top floor (16th) and afforded wonderful views down through the "leads" (shipping lanes) and pleasant breezes. Overall an enjoyable experience. I don't know why anyone would bother staying anywhere else whilst in Cairns.

You could not find a better located hotel in Cairns! The room size was not massive, but it was definitely adequate and comfortable. The room was not serviced throughout our stay, but that suited us (we could have paid additional for this, but chose not to). Being opposite the lagoon and walking distance to everything, we would definitely stay here again.

I am very satisfied with our stay at Holiday Inn Cairns Hotel. It is close to the airport but very quiet and yet so close to everything-public transport at the doorstep, church across, seafood buffet in a nearby hotel, RSL, short stroll in nearby good restaurants (plenty to choose),weekend fresh market,short taxi ride to casino, wharf to great barrier reef, Cairns railway station to take Kuranda Scenic Railway and most of all friendly and attentive staff and wide variety of superb breakfast. Thanks to the following staff-Jovelyn from the Restaurant, Akane from the reception, the concierge and housekeeping. I will definitely come back to this hotel and will recommend this to our family and friends.

Our stay at the Alamanda was excellent. We were guests at the hotel for five nights last week and our entire experience was more than we could have expected. From the time we were checked in by Cedric until he checked us out and everything in-between, we were amazed. We were given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite and were vey happy. The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained and the beach was great. We only ate at the restaurant once, but no complaints there. By far though, what set the Alamanda apart from all of the places we stayed during our three week trip to Australia was the outstanding service we received from the hotel staff. As previously mentioned, Cedric was a gem. He welcomed us warmly and was always there to assist us from carrying our very heavy luggage to the third floor and back to helping us plan various side trips in the area. His pleasant manner and knowledge of the area was very helpful and very much appreciated. Also, we found the rest of the office

we stayed at the cairns plaza hotel for 10 nights. from the time we arrived to departure the staff greated us with smiles. we arrived early (9am) so the room wasn't ready but staff directed us where we could freshen up and stored our luggage. a short pleasent walk to the centre of cairns (5 -10 min) the room was great (rm 506)very well presented and good sized balconanies off the living and bedroom. on checkin we were advised of building works as they are in the process of upgrading all the rms floor by floor. we only on one occassion heard some noise and that was at 10am for only a few minutes. communal laundry was clean as was the pool. a great playground across the road for those with children. this was a great hotel - close to everything but far enough away that we did not find it noisy. will stay hear again when next in cairns

Excellent Hotel, Staff gave me a free upgrade. Internet is not for free though and the network is very slow in Cairns. Hotel has pool and Gym. Room service very good, Good buffet ls in restaurant.

My husband, our teenage daughter and myself travelled from Mackay to Cairns and found the Marlin Cove Holiday Resort much more than we expected. Great location with great facilities and close to all amenities. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very roomy, clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to anybody travelling to Cairns.

We tried to fault it. Location close to the night markets. No road noise. Very very clean. Heated pool. People in office very friendly. Only fault was we had no TV in the bedroom but really....its not needed. The pool was not very deep, it didn't have a deep end but again it was very very warm (heated) The bed was not hard and not old. Great. If we went to cairns every year we would stay again for sure. 9.9

I've had the best stay at Hilton. The receptionist upgraded me to an ocean-view room (awesome!), and the room was spectacular. The view was excellent, and the breakfast selections were delicious - everything for everyone. I booked all my adventure trips just downstairs near the reception area, and I got to do all the must-do things in Cairns. I got to use the pool, although the gym equipments were quite old and unmaintained. The location of this hotel is awesome - right outside is the harbour and shops/restaurants close by. The staff were excellent - props to the desk staff, breakfast staff, and the nice housekeeping lady. I wanted to just stay in the hotel, but there were lots of things to do while in Cairns - Kuranda, Great Barrier Reef, etc. Staying at Hilton really made my stay in Cairns unforgettable.

Easily checked myself in late at night. Very spacious well furnished apartment. Clean and had everything you needed. Chose this place for its pools and lovely gardens. Staff very helpful with day tour bookings. Easy 5 mins walk to the main Palm Cove restaurant strip and beach. Use the back entrance for a short cut. Bus stop out front, over the road for buses to Clifton beach shops, Smithfield shopping centre or into Cairns itself. So easy. No need to stay at the pricey hotels fronting the beach where you can only swim in the enclosure up the end because of crocodiles and they don’t have such nice pools or gardens either. Only issue is that the air conditioning in the bedroom was cooler than I would have liked it and there’s no way to adjust it.

Very good accommodation in Cairns. It is about 30 min walk to central Cairns. The place has all you need for your holidays: spacious rooms, clean and a nice swimming pool. Thanks.

It's true what everyone else has to say about Rosemary--she's an absolute delight. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always present. Oh, and patient, which is good, because somehow the combination of my Macintosh computer, my company's timecard system, and Heritage Cairns wireless service just did not like to work together. She was great about fixing me up with replacement internet access and service, at the most reasonable rates we got in Australia (well, besides the one free place, which had to be used in the lobby in Gold Coast). She set us up with towels for our diving, loaner umbrellas to meet the unseasonable very heavy rain, and plenty of advice. Heritage Cairns is just a few steps off the main thoroughfare, but it's worth the extra block of walking.

The location and the facility was much better than I expected. I definitely was pleasantly surprised. The room is large and it has everything you need as mentioned in the other reviews. The location is quiet and I did not feel it was unsafe at any time. It is a bit remote but the Esplanade is a 2 km walk or so and it is probably 4 to the center of Cairns. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a need for an additional bed and they reacted promptly to satisfy our need. They did even more. An excellent experience. Certainly not a 5 star hotel but a great value for money.

We had a fantastic stay. Apartment well designed. Unique option to turn TV into bedroom/loungeroom through a shared wall. Kitchen well equipped. Huge Fridge. Balcony was huge with great views. Air-conditioning x 2 (one in bedroom and one in loungeroom area). Bed was very comfortable. Private laundry right outside the door (shared with 1 other unit), own iron in room and hairdryer. Initial coffee/tea/milk supplied - for those self catering - a supermarket is just down the road, with a large shopping center about 5 minutes drive. Walking distance to beach - less than 5 minutes. Beach has a special area cordoned off for swimming in stinger season. The Blue Lagoon has some fab restaurants on location or within 3 minutes walk. Apartment is about 15 mins to airport. We hired a car in Cairns and found the Blue Lagoon Resort a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns, Kuranda, Innisfail and Harlteys Crocodile Farm. Easy access check in and check out. We are seasoned travellers and Highly Recommend The Blue Lagoon Resort. Thanks Agoda!! We will definitely use your site again! Top marks!

We would like to recommend this facility to anyone who visit Cairns. The apartment has everything that you are looking for. The best of all, the laundry facilities are inside each apartment, which really helped us cleaning our clothes. The fully equipped kitchen was also making the place above and beyond other lodging places. The staff was very helpful and very organized. We will stay here again if we visit Cairns in the future.

It is an old hotel that has undergone a 'minor' renovation few years ago. It is worded similarly in their brochures and check-in letter. I still found it to be worthy of its 5 stars based on my stay in hotels in Cairns in the last few months. the rooms are clean and the staff are helpful and polite. During this stay, the only let down for me was the room service. The food that i ordered came out wrong - without the requirements I had made... and for the money paid, it was truly disappointing. It could be a one off ? Also, the room is not equipped with toothbrush, etc - which you get in other 5 star hotels... even in the nearby Shangri-La. Personally, that is not a problem for me but the review did ask if the 5 star rating is worth it and I'd say this may be one of those minor things that could be added to the options.

Great location only 30 minutes from Cairns airport. Palm Cove has a lovely relaxing feel with some nice cafés and restaurants. Our 2 bedroom Mantra accommodation was spacious. We liked the large pool. Overall, we really enjoyed the Mantra and would definitely recommend the accommodation in Palm Cove.

i stayed here while transferring to a next day connection flight and found it to be a great hotel. it has everything that you could want out of a hotel in cairns for a short stay. it is only a few kilometers from the main strip of the city and not far from the airport. the hotel itself has everything that you could need for a short stay. excellent food in the restaurand as well as a nice pool to lounge in. it is close to the water and parks as well as being in walking distance from all the restaurants the town has to offer.

This hotel is located in an idyllic position with regard to accessing the main sights of Cairns. It is convenient and close to the main attractions and amenities. The room in which I stayed was clean and well maintained with lovely fresh linen and a supremely comfortable bed. Noise pollution was kept to a minimum thanks to heavy blinds covering the windows of the eastward facing rooms. The staff were friendly and amenable if help was requested. The pool is in a central location with regard to all the rooms and is well maintained. The management are lenient with regard to check-out time. All in all, my stay at the Cairns Hotel was enjoyable. My discounted Agoda rate of $100 per night was reasonably good value for money, with all factors considered.

We arrived at the hotel with no expectation of the place and were very pleasantly suprised. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly, and allowed us an early check-in to the room at 9am. And the room itself was lovely (I actually stayed at the Hilton Cairns a week after staying here and the Rydges Plaza room was nicer) and looked like it had just been renovated. We meandered down to the bar, and although it wasn't that busy, was also very well presented, and had a huge range of drinks on offer. The best part, however, was the breakfast, which was presented as though it was done in our own kitchen with a very homely feel, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kewarra. I was doing work at the local uni (only 10 min away) and Kewarra turned out to be a much better base than hotels 45 min south in Cairns. The beautiful beach and tropical rainforest setting was absolutely amazing. We stayed in early/mid September and the weather was perfect for sleeping with the windows open and just the ceiling fans (no air con needed). We loved waking each morning to the sounds of the kookaburras and other jungle birds, and were just amazed at the local colony of flying fox bats that moved around each dawn and dusk. We had a hire car which made it so convenient to do day trips to Kuranda, Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef, down to the waterfront and esplanade in Cairns, and even up to the Daintree. We thought we were settling on a jungle vs. beachfront room, to save some money, but we're really glad we stayed in the rainforest location (room 70 - a bit of a walk to the main lodge but just a dreamy setting). Only very minor complaints were the hot water was limited so we had to be careful about the length of our showers (3 of us), and the restaurant's menu got boring after 8 days (assuming most won't stay as long so this won't be an issue). We would absolutely recommend to others!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Palm Cove. The best thing about this hotel is its two great swimming pool - one is the large Lagoon pool with white sand; the other is the Serenity Pool providing tranquil swimming experience. The beach is just across the street. Wonderful breakfast with value price. The concierge service is great - helping me reserve local air balloon / skyrail booking with good attitude. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here.

Great priced hotel in Cairns. Clean, comfy beds and friendly staff. Our room was facing the main street and it was noisy due to traffic. If you can, get a room facing the pool as its much quiet. The hotel is slightly far from the restaurants and the esplanade. Apart from the noise and the location, this is a great budget friendly hotel.

I was very impressed that this hotel is very clean, comfortable with very good view of both hotel pool view and sea view of Cairns. Spacious and clean room attracted me to stay in the room for long time. Large and full-equipped offered me convenience to prepare my breakfast everyday. Special laundry room allows me to bring less clothes as I can wash it easily. And also balcony relaxes me a lot as I could enjoyed my self-made breakfast. So I must stay in Mantra Trilogy Hotel when I travel to Cairns next time.
