It is quite expensive but you do not need to be rich to enjoy few days on this beautiful island. Via Krupp and Augustus' garden, a boat trip around the island, few hours on the beach of Marina Piccolo and a nice dinner could all fit into a one night stay.
Pretty little island - would suggest a day trip from Naples or Sorrento rather than staying overnight as very expensive and Sorrento is much prettier and offers so much more.
The main reason for visiting Capri is to see the Blue Grotto which you could do on a day trip.
I come to Capri twice, in August and in November. I'd day the island is better visiting in Summer, but if you come in Winter, it's another kind of feel.
Don't miss Anacapri, you can go there by bus from the port. It's another city and less turistic but same beautiful. If you like hiking, you must try the walking along the sentieros around the island. It's wonderful.
The island of Capri is beautiful. The town is commercialised and expensive eating and shopping. Anna Capri is the better location
Gorgeous place; people were friendly even though the tourists must drive them mad (though we're their bread and butter).
Lots of fabulous shops - all the designers, great jewellery not too expensive, though majority was high class gems that were simply sublime. It's a place where you don't want to leave...just stay a few days longer. Will definitely go back and will stay longer than two days!
