I had a terrible experience in the Tiger’sHeaven resort due to unprofessional and unethical attitude and behavior of their managerial staff. 1. Avoid the resort if possible or else be prepared for the unpleasant and unruly behavior by the inconsiderate resort management (particularly Saurabh who runs the resort) 2. If you do book, ensure that you book your own safaris online on mahaecotourism website – this way these people will not be able to take you for a ride 3. Worst case, if you have to book accommodation and safaris through them (they will give an impression that they can arrange safari bookings) – demand a receipt of safari booking clearly showing date of safari, zone and gate booked, time of safari and people booked (note - on one of the safaris I had noticed that there were two other names on my safari receipt without my knowledge, when I questioned this I was asked to not bother and enjoy the safari)

We had a wonderful time for the one day that we stayed there. However we are really upset as we were asked to move out to another hotel after the first day of stay at the hotel even though payment was made and we had a confirmed booking for two days which was done two months in advance, this was due to overbooking done by the hotel management. Our complaint is that we made the booking Two months in advance, our booking was confirmed, payment was taken from us, but the hotel management did not show the courtesy of informing us about the over booking and the fact that they will move us to another hotel, even though they had all our contact details.

Other than the location (very close to the reserve gate), nothing is there to stay in this hotel. Although I have booked two room for 4 persons. Upon arrival, the manager does not have any clue about my booking confirmation. He calls someone (said MD), and that guy on the phone tell me the amount I have paid is the regular tariff for one room. Unfortunately, there is no Network coverage (other than GIO) so it was difficult to send him back the confirmation slip. It was seriously miserable. Better I would not talk about the paid breakfast we had the next day morning. No Staff to help, No Hot water with an excuse that its all solar and I have to wait till 11:00am. Alternatively, you have to pay Rs100 per bucket. Huh.. never spoil your vacation with such kind of hotels.

I had been with my family for 2 night stay. The resort is located near to Moharli gate. The cottages are comfortable for a family with utter cleanliness. The food is enjoyable. The staff is customer friendly and special mention about the Manager- Ishant. The drawback is the telecom / net connectivity. Only Idea service provider would be able to get along. You are helpless for any other service provider. You need to book the jungle safari as well as local travel in advance in order to avoid last minute hiccups. Resort provides you with Wifi (as an oxygen) to stay in touch with the world but limited to certain boundary. Overall good experience and comfortable stay.

The property is beautiful with pretty, well-furnished and well maintained spacious cottages. The meals had a lavish menu, tasted awesome and full of variety. But what stood out was the efficiency of the staff and their wonderful hospitality. Breakfast was expertly packed into picnic baskets and sent with us on the morning jungle safaris. Cars were arranged at short notices. Overall, the stay was a wonderful one and V resorts Mahuatola is a place where you would definitely like to go back again
