Congress Plaza Hotel

"Everything about the Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago is at the same time opening, excellent, and lay back. Check in and check out are as easy as opening a refrigerator. Staff is always "at your service" but never "in your face." Staying here is like staying with family."

Swissôtel Chicago
Loop,Chicago (IL) - View on map
"The Swissotel Chicago is a wonderful hotel. My spouse and I love it and try to return there whenever we stay downtown Chicago. The location is excellent and staff is extremely friendly. The hotel provides significant attention to detail. The bedding is outstanding - the most comfortable we've every slept in. My only negative comment is in regards to cost for extras... e.g. I don't think the up charge for health club usage is justified."

Eurostars Magnificent Mile
River North,Chicago (IL) - View on map
"My stay was incredible! The hotel is downtown Chicago, prime location for shopping and dining. Upon checking in I was informed that I'd received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel has such beautiful decor and the views of the city from the rooms and the rooftop lounge are breathtaking. The staff was fery friendly and helpful. And the on site restaurant served some great brunch eats. The spa was the pennicle of my stay at the Dana Hotel. My spa services were professionally executed and it was a very relaxing and refreshing experience. I will definitely revisit the Dana Hotel and Spa for a longer stay!"

More about Chicago (IL)

When people mention famous American cities, Chicago is often on the list. There is a reason that this American metropolis has stood the test of time and remained a world-class destination, and a lot of its popularity has to do with the heart and personality of this city.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport is the bigger international airport, located less than 20 miles from the city center and serving flights from pretty much every corner of the world.

From the first moment of arriving in Chicago, visitors will be spoiled for things to do and sights to see. Just a stroll along the famous Magnificent Mile, with its many shops and restaurants along one of the most famous retail and entertainment districts in the world. With Lake Michigan fronting the city’s skyline and Michigan Avenue hugging its shore, Chicago has no shortage of picturesque views. This city is often referred to as the birthplace of the skyscraper, and the view from Millennium Park is the perfect way to fully appreciate the beauty of the tall buildings that call Chicago home. The world's first steel-and-concrete skyscraper rose over the Chicago skyline in the 19th century, and many visitors consider a trip to the top of the Sears Tower a must-do while visiting this city.

Chicago is a bastion of blues and jazz, and some of the best clubs are here in the North Side. Diehard fans of blues will want to time their visit with the annual Chicago Blues Festival, held in June of every year. Home of the Wrigley Field, Frank Lloyd Wright Home, and many of the best blues clubs in the world, Chicago is a feast for the senses.
