Best hotels & accommodations in Essaouira

The hotel has lots of staff always willing to help! The exterior is of a high standard, clean & contemporary, the rooms were clean however the upkeep like bubbling walls & dirty cushions on the balcony did let it down slightly. Shuttle to the medina daily every hour is helpful, small area to purchase memorabilia & a few homely restaurants. Tax charges at the end of the...

Worth every cent! The hotel is perfected located: opposite the beach, at an entrance to the old medina and close to the main square filled with many food options. Every room is unique but offering the same level of comfort. The terrace is serene - for breakfast or sunset and a drink. By the way, best breakfasts we had in Morroco! Every staff member is kind, friendly an...

We spent a really nice stay in Baladin Riad. Rooms are really nice with a delightful decoration and clean ! You can enjoy the breakfast on the rooftop with great view, enjoying the sun. Moreover there is a jacuzzi !! Staff are very helpful and kind ! We highly recommend this place

We liked the place although it’s off a square so taxi drops us 300 metres away Then to locate the office for keys across square Then a walk 300m walk in a alleyway to flight of stairs no lifts here a disabled person will find it extremely difficult to 2nd floor quaint rooms of character Delightful little place The rooftops has excellent clear views of ocean n beach...

Booked in for 3 nights, solo traveller, to chill. Reasonably priced (lower end cost for hotel with big pool!). Decor a bit dated but comfortable. Stayed on one of bungalows, and spent days relaxing by pool. Paid €8 one day for breakfast - buffet with breads, crepes, fruits, salads, coffee. Location is perfect. Directly on the beach and next to medina. Staff incredibly ...

Enjoyed our stay & would recommend as a good base to explore Essaouira. Stayed only 1 nt & wished we had at least 3 to 5 nts to spend in this place. Staff (Abdel & Youseff) were charming & helpful. The rooms are chic & modern in design. Only 5 rooms so easily booked out.

We stayed one week. Great base. Staff excellent , very amenable and helpful. In medina within walking distance of all amenities. Mosque very close so we heard bilal loud and clear, but we expected and adjusted to this. Only downside was closeness to Bar Tavos which had loud music which we were surprised at it being in the old city. Music did finish at 10.45 though. Pro...

This is the first hotel I stayed after arriving in Morocco, and it gave me a great first impression about this country. The owner is very friendly and helpful (also very multilingual). From pickup at bus station, tourism guidance to serving dinner, he does everything to make his guests feel like at home. The room is clean with local decorations, the food is great (the ...

Nothing much bad to say about this place. The only "problem" we had, was that we were missing a shower curtain. This meant that the entire bathroom floor would get wet, and drip out into the main part of the room. An easy fix. Other than that however, we very much enjoyed our stay. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated in antique moroccan style, and feels ...

This was my partner's favourite place we stayed in all of Morocco. Our room was enormous and clean, very comfortable. The bed was one of the softest we found in Morocco and still had a good mattress. The riad itself is stylish and open concept and feels very safe. The rooftop patio is spaceous and a full 360 pano view. I will mention we got our room just after it ha...

The room was nice and clean. Recommended for people who know each other well, because toilet and shower are basically in the the room (not separated by wall or anything, which is often the case in Morocco). There was cobsiderable humidity, but we didn't mind for one night.

I just stay here for one night, when I came back after sunset, the workers in hotel invited me to experience how to cook tigine, we bought meat & vegetables together, then cook them,it's really a wonderful experience to me,they are very nice & friendly, nice to meet them.hope to stay here again in the future

The staff is awesome! Simo is the manager and is by far the greatest host we had in Morocco. He sat with us and gave us a map and explained all there is to know around the medina. We stayed for 3 days and he showed us around when needed. There is also Mouhcine who helps around and he was very helpful. He took us around the medina, cooked tajine for us and made our tri...

Lovely small family hotel with a nice breakfast. The rooms are a bit small and spartan but clean and worth the price. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the small swimming pool in the courtyard. Very friendly service and receive a free gift of Argon oil for my second stay there.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this Riad. The staff, Hasna was friendly and helpful. She took us to a nearby restaurant which served delicious Moroccan food. Also she made sure our own computers worked at the lobby as there was no connection inside the room. Room was clean, but the bathroom light was dim. Unfortunately our room faced the roof terrace whereby 2 ...

This was the most expensive hotel of my holiday and the only one that had no wifi in the room. It is indeed a luxury hotel with great beds, good shower and tastefully decorated room. I found the reception desk to be brusque and in some ways unhelpful. She was going to charge me for the room but I had already paid through Agoda. There is a huge outdoor pool but wi...

Right in the center of the medina, close to view points, close to the port where we could enjoy fresh sea food. You can book without worry :) Although you might find couple of hidden places in the medina, that one is 100% happy guarantee ;) Enjoy Essaouira, what a great place.

I was enchanted by Dar Cherazade! From Hassan's welcome, to the beautiful interior, and stunning balcony view over the ocean, this is a great spot for a great price. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Younes the owner is lovely (perfect English) and the breakfast lady was wonderful. I wish I'd found it sooner.

A little hard to find to begin with...but I think that was more down to us than the hotel. The owners & staff were great from the start. The Riad has 8 bedrooms...singles, doubles & triples all en suite, spread across 3 floors. The rooms (we had 2 of them) were bright, clean & the en suite facilities were excellent with super powered showers with hot water at any time....

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Riad El Mess. The riad itself is beautiful, authentic Moroccan and within the medina itself, just a walk away from all the restaurants and shops. We were given a great room, Room4, and it was huge with a huge comfortable bed and covers, bathroom, couch and chairs. Hot shower was always functional, never had to take a cold bath in cold Ess...

Restaurant, Cafe & Hammam obviously not existing any longer No sun beds on the roof terrace Boring breakfast inattentive service - obviously bored by clients No response to online requests Rooms clean; bathrooms have seen better times - no dryers Currently (Nov 2019) a construction site next to the hotel with construction work at day & disposal of waste starting midni...

Essaouira is my favorite city in Morocco, and La Maison may be the crown jewel of its traditional accommodations. My room was airy, spacious, elegant, and decorated with clever, original artworks. Location couldn't have been better. My window opened onto the ramparts and the sea, and the medina was just outside the door. Breakfast was FABULOUS. Isabelle and her staff m...

Palatial rooms with beautiful decoration. It would be a lovely getaway for a couple. The location is ideal on the edge of the old city adjacent to the beach. My one gripe was that I wanted a swimming pool and it was listed on Agoda as such. In fact, it only has a hammam.
