Very near to Hamamatsu Station. 24hrs Convenient store just below hotel. Near to shopping mall and many restaurants nearby. Room is as expected small in Japan but still enough space to move around. It is very clean and most importantly... can rest really comfortably.

Staff was really nice and they were quick to respond my e-mail. I had my package sent to and from the hotel using Yamato and staff was really helpful and kind to help me out. I am genuinely grateful for your help. ありがとうございました! The room was spacious unlike other Japanese hotels. Mine was around 30+ sqm. Everything was clean. Bed was huge and comfortable. The reception...

My stay at the Richmond Hotel was very satisfying. Although the rooms are compact (as is the case with most “business hotels” in Japan), they are very clean and comfortable. It has all the necessary amenities for a business traveler (i.e. wifi in the rooms). The hotel staff were also very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the main downtown area o...

I reserved non-smoking room, but I was assigned somking room. After severe clain, I could barely reassigned. I think it was because I was foreigner. The location was very inconvinient. Too far from Hamamatsu city, and insufficient outside restaurant.

Location is far from station but the service from the staff is excellent. The Staff at Hotel Concorde Hamamatsu provide lots of information for tourists spot and local hot spot, even though they cannot speak English. You can feel they are trying their best. Room is clean and the room is totally acceptable for the view/price/size. I will rate it 8 out of 10 due to loc...

If the room was bigger, Dormy Inn Express Kakegawa would be a 4 star hotel! With its interior details, amenities, and its near location to the train station, I love everything about it except the room size which was more comfortable if occupied by 1 person only.

-very good location with JR & train station near by. (2-3min by walk only) -easy to shop. with malls/supermarket/ convinence stores all around (2-3 min by walk) - many choices of restaurant (some 24 hr) nearby -affordable price meeting all your basic needs -quick response from staff -bed mattress very comfortable (that i plan to purchase the same brand for my home) - h...

Stayed for a night on the way to some where else. I didn't know anything about Hamamatsu till I got here because information is sprawled everywhere around the hostel. There's lots of flyers everywhere. A huge mural map on things to check out. Printed a4 copies of a 'food map' all the good eats within walking distance of the hostel. Needless to say it's a standard Japan...

Excellent location with excellent service and facilities for a single person or couple just needing somewhere to stay while they travel Japan. Hamamatsu is a nice city that is in the middle of Tokyo and Osaka and the Shinkansen line stops here including the Hikari. I traveled to Tokyo,Kyoto, Nagoya, Kobe and Atami during my 10 day stay and this was an excellent and che...

I booked 2 rooms in this hotel. It is quite far from the JR station. I need to take taxi to go and back from the hotel to the JR station. The rooms are nice designed and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and clean as well. The staffs are friendly. They will try to understand and fulfill all your requirements even though their English is not speaking fluently.

This resort is a bit isolated but worth considering if you get a good rate. My room was marginal, with stained carpets and slightly odorous chair coverings. However the staff was delightful and the buffet breakfast and dinner was decent considering my room rate.

I visited Iwata for the first time and chose the Kuratake Inn due to the close proximity to the Iwata Station. The staff spoke enough English to get me checked in with no problems. The single room was spacious compared to most hotels in Japan. The free breakfast was decent and I was surprised that there is a free happy hour from 6 - 8pm.

stayed 2 nights for wonderful kite festival. booked double room and initially given twin but no problem whatsoever changing to double. small rooms but clean. yummy buffet breakfast included with different variety each morning. staff spoke little english but tried to be as friendly and helpful as they could. close to local jr line to travel each day to hamamatsu (ab...

Hotel location is superb, just across the train station and the bus terminal. Bus terminal has an information centre where friendly staff can advise what buses to take to various attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also provide complimentary western and japanese breakfast. The hotel was right next to the Hamamatsu station so it was really easy to find. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Hamamatsu

I've stayed here 2 times, each time for only 1 night while on a walking or cycling tour. The rooms are surprisingly large, especially by Japanese standards. Beds are super-comfy, and the staff are super-helpful. They were more worried about safely storing my bicycle than I was (thanks!!), and the free laundry was very helpful on each occasion.

This is an old hotel and the rooms have seen better days. Ours had wallpaper that was peeling off which made it feel shabby and not so welcoming. There wasn't a kettle but an old-fashioned tin pot on a heating pad. Air Cond is the old Off/1/2/3 type. The room was definitely clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. This is a working/business style hotel...

meijiya is a 20 minute walk from hamamatsu station which is fine if you only have a small bag. i was attending a weekend conference in the act centre, so, although a little far from the station, it was conveniently located for that. rooms are small, clean, a little dated and with the usual tiny attached bathroom that is standard for a hotel in this price range. the...

So enjoyable hotel, good services provided by the hotel staff, polite, friendly and helpful. They're willing to assist us for every inquiries and shared us about the culture of country. Environment of the dining restaurant is grand, local Japanese cuisine is delicious. Strongly recommend for those backpacker to stay with this hotel.

Hotel is just off of the highway and is within walkable distance to numerous restaurants with full-sized parking lots. Also, Lawson’s nearby. Breakfast is Japanese style and adequate and included. Rooms are Japanese business size. TVs include 5 channels per usual with additional options for PPV.

This is a typical Japanese spa resort hotel by the sea. My room was a little larger than the usual narrow Japanese hotel rooms. I was in fact given a room with 3 beds when I was a solo traveller. It was comfortable and offered a small sofa and chairs and tables for a small gathering. It was a room with a "Shinkansen view" which literally means I could see the trains pa...
