We have over the past years stayed at a few hotels in Hoi An town. Little Riverside is definitely on top of the list. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location just outside the old town (two minutes walk) and just on the river side (like the hotel name implies) - good breakfast with plenty choices, and the dinners were good as well. The spa service was really good. So, nothing wrong? Well, they probably have a problem with the water heater on the roof, just above some of the rooms on 5th floor. This heater was making so much annoying noise that after the second sleepless night we had to ask to be moved to another lower level room. The hotel was very forthcoming, and we got a room on the third floor and a good night's sleep. There is apparently plans to make some serious improvements on the heater's mechanical set-up, so to avoid all that noise. But everything else was perfect, and we are sure to return to this hotel for our next Hoi An visit, if this issue has been fixed.

the sunrise is a fairly new hotel, the staff were very friendly and accomodating. they provided a free shutttle bus to hoi an, however one night it didn't come, we had phoned them they were happy for us to catch a cab back to the hotel and they pay for it.the beach in front of the hotel we were not able to swim in however they have a secluded beach next to the hotel which you can access and it was fantastic. we stayed at a few hotels in hoi an and danang, although sunrise was not as luxurious as the other places i stayed it was the best value for money by far.

We had such an amazing time at the Allegro hotel in Hoi An. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The staff greeted us with smiles and helpful information at every chance. They were so friendly and fabulous with my son who was not feeling well the first few days we were there as he was getting over the flu. The hotel itself is charming and lovely. You feel as though you have stepped back to a previous era that is welcoming and full of possibilities. The decor is beautiful and fits the theme of Hoi An very well. The pool is perfect and refreshing....the best spot to enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon before wandering the streets of the Ancient town. The location is great as it is only a few minutes walk to the Ancient town and a whole array of restaurants to choose from...but the Allegro's restaurant is so good that several nights we just stayed at the hotel for dinner and were very satisfied. We found this hotel to be a great place to stay in hoi an . It is a reasonable distance into the city centre but after the hustle and bustle of the tourist centre the calm and tranquility of the resort style river frontage was a welcome relief . There are free shuttle buses to and from the centre so no great hardship in being a bit out of town. Staff were exceptional , going out of their way to upgrade our room and also providing a limousine service when we booked a driver to take us to ba na hills . Over all they were very attentive to whatever we required . The spa service was awesome. The rooms are. Rey spacious and extremely comfortable Highly recommend this hotel

This is my third stay at a La Siesta property and the first time in Hoi An. I continue to be impressed by this chain’s high standards in hospitality and professionalism, particularly when dealing with an issue we had - not with the hotel but with one of the restaurants they recommended. My friends and I will continue staying at La Siesta properties when in Vietnam.

Plenty of hotels are described as 'Luxury' but few actually make the mark: The Victoria does. The location is calm & quiet and the facilities are excellent. Be aware that you cannot really have a 'resort' or 'beach' hotel in Hoi An town itself (and it wouldn't have the 'calm' of the Victoria if you could). It has to be that short drive away, which is why the Victoria is where it is, along with all the other 'resort' hotels). Don't for one moment let that put you off, the location is great, it's a plus, the hotel operates a good (& free) shuttle bus to run you in and out of Hoi An. The rooms are like 'mini villas', spacious, well equipped, with good bathrooms and private terraces. It's really a 'resort' as it's all set in lawned gardens with fish ponds and palm trees, there's a beautiful 'infinity pool' looking out over the ocean, with a kiddies 'infinity pool' and plenty of loungers, sunshades and a poolside bar/snack bar (which does much more than snacks). A great place to sit looking over the ocean with a cocktail as evening falls . There's also a private beach (again with loungers and sunshades and staff to collect your drinks and food from the poolside bar. Plus there's a spa. The restaurant delivers delicious food (and excellent baguettes & patisserie) there's also a couple of bars to relax in, The hotel can arrange excursions etc., but my top tip is that they have a collection of vintage motorcycle & sidecar combinations (with drivers) that they will organise day trips (or short tours, or simply shuttles to Hoi An in). The day trips are fabulous and it's a great fun way to see this part of Vietnam, better than being in a car or bus but without the danger of being on a scooter. Frankly we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hoi An (and we have before, but once you've found the Victoria you'll likely be a return guest). The staff are fabulous and know how to (and take pleasure in) delivering great service. This is not a 'budget hotel', you'll find cheape

Our stay in Hoi An was overall an excellent experience. Lasenta itself is a very new hotel (3 months from what the concierge told us) and it definitely shows. Upon arriving, we were given a cold towel and a cool herbal drink and then were given the run down of information before being taken to our room. The concierge were always attending to our needs whether it's calling for a taxi or helping with our luggage or just greeting in the mornings. Our room (Grand Deluxe) was plenty spacious, the bed very large and comfy and overall the room was very clean. The view from the room was breath taking as we had the rice fields view and waking up to that every morning was bliss. The WIFI in the room was a little spotty (we were located on the 6th floor) and seemed rather slow unless we sat near towards the door (which is most likely closer to the access point). However, WIFI in the lobby and restaurant were extremely fast (around ~10Mbps) so they should probably improve on the signal in the rooms. Since breakfast was bundled with our room, the breakfast is your standard fare - generally sausage, bacon, beans, mash potato, potato tarts, curry, congee, breads, fruits, cold meats and cheese. They also have a station where two chefs will make your eggs to your preference and one to prepare your bowl of Pho. Food quality, it's rather decent, I actually have no complaints about it. The hotel has various facilities such as the infinity-esque pool (great for taking pictures) and also a gym, which is equipped with two treadmills, 1 crosstrainer, a lat-pulldown, bench press and free weights. I managed to get 3 decent workouts with the provided equipment. Location wise, I would say very good as it is not in the heart of the bustling and tourist heavy Hoi An town but also not that far that it is very inconvenient. Walking from the hotel to Hoi An Ancient Town took about 15-20 minutes. There's restaurants just 5 minute walk behind the hotel (I recommend Wooden House, the food there

There are many hotels that call themselves "luxury boutiques" that are nothing of the sort. La Residencia does however, live up to it's name. Hoi An is a beautiful town unique in my experiences of Vietnam. It is a town that (literally) must be explored on foot. From this Hotel's location this is very easy to do so. I heard complaints from people commuting to and from the town in taxis to the hotels further out; it was so handy to be able to stroll back to our room within five minutes of leaving the shops, restaurants and bars. The food from the restaurant was quite nice; breakfast was especially good. In Hoi An there are plenty of good eateries to stumble upon though so we didn't eat in the hotel much. The rooms are nice and somehow refreshing, tastefully decorated. Finally but certainly not last; the staff. They were so accommodating it made the stay an absolute pleasure. They showed a genuine interest and concern for how we experienced our stay in Hoi An and exhibited a quiet pride in their locale and their hotel. Their professionalism raised our experience to a five star level in my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel. Beyond just value for money.

I stayed at Hoi An River Town Hotel between December 25th and 29th, 2016. Before we flew to Vietnam we were concerned about the floods on the news in Hoi An; the hotel staff E-mailed us before our flight to let us know that the area surrounding the hotel was unaffected. After our arrival - and indeed throughout the duration of our stay - the staff were attentive, polite and efficient at dealing with all our requests (booking restaurants, recommending sights, booking airport transfer etc.). In particular, one front desk employee Nga was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and WiFi was fast. The hotel is not located in the centre of Hoi An which we liked as it allowed us to escape the noise and lights when we wanted some peace and quiet. Nevertheless it is conveniently located a short walking distance from the Night Market. Would highly recommend Hoi An River Town Hotel!

We can very highly recommend this hotel, we loved it so much here that we kept extending our stay and stayed for 3 weeks. The staff.They really are the nicest team. Everyone greets you with a smile and cannot do enough for you. They will help you arrange tours, will suggest things for you to do, and whenever you leave or return to the hotel will greet you so warmly. They really care if you have had a good lunch, or outing. It really makes a difference to your stay to have this level of care taken for you. This fantastic team will really look after you. The housekeeping do a stirling job, the rooms are always mega clean. There is a twice daily housekeeping service too, so you have fresh towels whenever you have used them which is a nice touch. The location is also spot on, 10 minute walk through the town to the main Old Town. Availability of bikes which we used alot, it is really fun biking out to dinner and coming back through the old town. The hotel is also situated on the River, so whilst sunbathing in the garden or by the pool you have a lovely view and can watch the activity on the river. You get the best of both worlds, you are on the doorstep of everything Hoi An has to offer plus the peaceful riverside location. The Villas are well designed and very spacious. We stayed in a River View and Marina Pool Villa. As we work while we travel my husband and I were able to set up office very comfortably in the space. The wifi is good too and no passwords! We had to move rooms a few times as we kept extending our stay, however this was no issue at all with the help of the staff. So don't let that put you off staying here if you try to book at a busy time. We really would recommend staying here, we will tell anyone to do so if they come to Hoi An and we hope we will visit again one day too. Hoi An is a very special place and to have this great hotel as your base while you explore it makes the whole experience rather hard to beat!

My wife and I are VERY happy with everything about this hotel. The staff is truly amazing and goes out of their way to make you feel special and have a great time during your stay in Hoi An. 1. First, let me say that I contacted the hotel to help me surprise my wife with a beautifully decorated room, and they did an AMAZING JOB. I asked for small cake, flowers and decorations- but I got that and more! We were both super surprised. See some photos below. They glued around 60 heart-shaped balloons (red and white) to the ceiling. They had 2 sets of flowers, including 1 bouquet of red roses, a nice cake that said Happy Honeymoon. They also printed 5 photos of us, and hanged them on the frames in the room. The bathtub was also ready when we got it (hot water, ready to jump in), plus decorated with fresh flowers floating in the water. Amazing! The staff even helped us shoot the photos. 2. The breakfast buffet is really delicious, and we got so full we didn't have lunch two days in a row.

We stayed here on our last 2 nights in Hoi An and would highly recommend it. By far the best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms were perfectly clean and the bed was so comfy. The inclusive spa experience was amazing. We used the sauna and steam room a few times each day (all included in room rate). The buffet breakfast was great, the only negative being you have to pay extra for tea and coffee. We also ate room service one night and it was really tasty. Every single staff member goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay - they all did a brilliant job.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this boutique hotel and had an amazing time in Hoi An. The service was the best we received in our Vietnam trip and special mention to Elsa and Bella at reception who struck up a connection with our 2 young children and went out of their way to spoil them. My daughter was in tears on the last day and cried all the way to the airport because she missed these 2 ladies. We had a family room which was comfortable with a balcony facing the pool, and were offered an early check in since we arrived early morning in Hoi An. Breakfast was lovely and the chef catered to our requests for special diet. Tried the spa which had a special buy 1 get 1 free offer so we had a couples massage and they also had a kids massage (haven't come across kids massage at a spa before). The only spoiler was the loud music from a neighbouring property that ruined an almost perfect relaxing massage. Used the gym during our stay. Thank you to all the staff that served us.

this is such a lovely Place to stay in hoi an! a small, beautiful and very personal boutique hotel close to the city yet located in a more area of the town, so one can have a space to relax and recharge here. the breakfast is also great and the staff is keen to make you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. pools are lovely too, there you can borrow bikes for free, minibar prices are also more than decent. I hope you get the chance to meet one of the managers, Cloudy. she is sooo lovely, charming and funny. and she will help you with anything. the hotel will also help you with transports to other cities (we paid moderate 75 Usd for a private car to hue), tours and so on. We didn't use the Spa, but the prices for it were also more than fair. only one thing would have been lovely to have (but this is moaning on veeeery high level) is tour information with prices in the rooms or at another place to be able to inform ourselves without needing to ask - but this might be a very German consideration :) next time we will be in Hoi An, we will definitely stay at Silk Boutique again.

Staying at Little hoi an beach boutique was an a amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is brand new, very luxurious, and rooms are very clean. All of the staff were very kind and took an interest in getting to know us, going out of their way to tell us about local life, things to do in town, and helping us with any request we had. In particular, Joy, Nancy and Susan made us feel very welcome and at home. Breakfast had a very good selection each day and was always fresh. There is a free shuttle service into old town and to the swimming beach which made getting around easy. The only improvement could be more shuttle service times of an evening but cost of a taxi is also very cheap so it was not an issue. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time we are in Hoi An, and would highly recommend the Little hoi an beach boutique to anyone travelling to Hoi An. Thank you Little hoi an beach boutique staff for truly making our stay in hoi an unforgettable!!

i've stayed in a guesthouse in hoi an before, but really wanted a swimming pool this time. hoi an hotel is beautifully kept, with a great swimming pool area (though the jacuzzi is cold, which is a shame this time of year) and friendly helpful staff delivering at a solid four-star standard. this is a big resort, that clearly takes tour groups (who do crowd the buffet a little early in the morning) and the family, moneyed and elderly markets. we still had a blast there though, as a younger couple. the location is very good - just a block to le loi, one of the main streets full of tailors, bars and restaurants. other highlights: omelette/pancake station, great pastries and expansive fruit areas on the brekkie buffet. particularly pretty room right at the end of the corridor, with a walk-through bathroom and separate bath on a pebbled area and big rain shower with plenty of hot water (a nice change in vietnam). my only complaint: the glass door on the toilet itself wasn't so great for us - it was only half-frosted. a little private time, please! there was an automated blind between the bathroom and the bed which we had to use because of this.

I can speak with some authority because we also stayed at another hotel in Hoi An during this trip so can compare The other one has grander common areas, slightly larger and more luxurious rooms and better breakfast. But it was 4x the price, which is not justified given the VHER's better location vis-à-vis both the Old Town and cheaper amenities over the road such as laundry, bike rental and taxi hire (VND250k to Danang versus VND550k on the meter). The other hotel was surrounded by shops and hawkers charging literally 3-4x as much for the same services because they could There is a valuable acoustic effect given the horseshoe shape of the hotel block around the pool area, making it a real oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle right on the doorstep. Breakfast was adequate but basic, but this isn't the Four Seasons, y'know? No point eating in the hotel at lunch/dinner in my opinion - far too many fabulous eating spots a walk away. The daily free 'street food' session at 4pm is well worth doing - for the fun banter with the cooks as much as for the food itself Both my wife and I had a massage. Hers was good apparently (even by her high standards) but mine was mediocre (and I've got low standards). Hard to massage effectively when you're texting on your phone half the time, I suppose. Note that Masseuses are not hotel staff: they are provided by the Spa up the road, so make your own mind up if you are happy to pay a premium for having it done in the hotel... If it wasn't so hit and miss it would be an easier decision In conclusion, my wife was gutted that we spent 3 nights at the 'other place' - she considered the difference in price entirely unjustified. Would be easy to recommend at twice the price. Personally I'd find the hotel and Hoi An generally a bit claustrophobic to stay for a whole week. 2-3 nights is perfect, and then go and see some of the other treasures in the region (Hanoi, Ha Long, even Siem Reap)

Stop searching for a hotel in Hoi An! You've already found it!! We've travelled from South to the north and this absolutely is the best hotel in Vietnam. Why? Let me tell you: 1. Decor and style: it's a colonial style hotel that expresses in essence word "boutique". Increadibly charming and gives you that unique experience of Vietnam 2. Location: fantastic - 3 min walking from the center and all there is in Hoi An, but at the same time out of Main Street, so it's not noisy 3. Service: outstanding. In 2 days that we stayed they learned our names, were very helpful and attentive without getting into our space. Dressed in beautiful traditional outfits. Pleasure to spend time there.

Excellent choice for staying in Hoi An. hotel is right on the beach, very stylish, modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were varied and good selection and you could sit outside appreciating nice gardens or inside in the air conditioning. Bedrooms were good size, comfy large beds with seating area, nice well equipped bathrooms with large shower. You could walk along the beach at lunchtime and enjoy lunch at restaurants on the beach and chat with the friendly locals- excellent food. Hotel offered free shuttle bus into old town which was a great place to visit, day or night! Hoi An is a must- restaurants amazing quality and character shops, colourful lanterns everywhere, with floating candles in the river- beautiful! If the shuttle bus was full, hotel paid for taxi so excellent service and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will return to stay at the Boutique Hotel.

This hotel is absolutely mind-blowing. While we booked the hotel we did not have much expectation. However, as soon as we stepped into the hotel we were so fascinated. They greeted us with a warm smile. The stuff was so well motivated that they created a positive energy among us after a long day. We were absolutely blown away by the friendliness of the stuff. The room was also fantastic with great city view. The cleanliness standard we observer was top-notch. The bed was very comfortable. They provide a laptop in every room. We were so happy because we were on holiday for 3 weeks and were not carrying our own laptop. It was so helpful for us. We ordered the meal in our room and their restaurant’s service was prompt and efficient. The tastes of the food they serve are among the top 5 list in Hoi An. The breakfast choice was ample. They also provide shuttle service to beach and Hoi An Ancient town. As the mode of transportation in Hoi An, we prefer the free bicycle provided by the hotel at no cost. We recommend all our friends and family to stay here if they visit Hoi An. We are also planning to come back.

From the moment to arrive to the moment you leave everything was perfect. Gorgeous beaches, lovely pool, beautiful spacious, clean rooms with big comfy beds. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a huge choice from Vietnam to western, sweets, savouries etc. Several lovely restaurants and bars on site with delicious menus. The staff are fabulous, very professional, wellness to assist and forever smiling. Approximately 5min taxi drive to Old Hoi An where it’s also absolutely gorgeous streets and a night the beautiful lanterns are light up, tailors glory, restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back here when next in Hoi An.

We stayed here for 4 nights when we were in Hoi An. We absolutely loved Hoi An Silk Village - it has been the best hotel we have stayed in during our Asia trip so far. The service was over the top - the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us out. They knew it was our anniversary and the first day provided a cake and flowers for us in our room. The rooms were new, clean, wonderfully decorated, and the bed and air conditioning were perfect. We also loved the shower. Having free bikes to ride to town and use during the day was great as well. They also have an awesome pool and a free shuttle to the beach and their own private area with chairs and towels for you. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Overall, everything about our stay here was positive - we would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Hoi An. High value for the cost of the hotel. Thank you Hoi An Silk Village for such a positive experience and for your incredible service! You all are doing a wonderful job.

My family stayed in this resort from the 10th of January to 12th of January. We really had a great time thanks to the staff and the great facility. It is not close to the famous beaches, but the service and the programs were excellent. The overall service and programs were so good that we enjoyed the cooking class and coconut boat riding program. The programs were neatly organized and well customized. The staff and the chef in the resort hosted the programs, so the quality was definitely very high. It was rainy season, so we could not fully enjoy the swimming pool, but with other service and progrmams provided, my family fully enjoyed the stay in the resort. In addition, the food and breakfast was so satisfactory that we used the restorant several times. My wife still misses the Vietnamese chicken noodle. At first, I was a little bit hesistant because there were only a few reviews on this resort, but I am positive that I had a great time in Hoi An thanks to this resort.

Stayed at the Muong in Hoi An for 10 nights over New Years Eve (wife and 1 year old child). Wish I had stayed longer. Way better than the Van Pearl in Halong Bay (was a 5 Star island resort). Upgraded to Executive suit and definitely worth it. New Year Eve party was excellent. Swam in the ocean then pool every day. Food was safe and mosquitos where never an issue.Staff member Tram Huymh provided us with exceptional service and went over and above to make our stay great. I wish I had cancelled the van pearl in Halong and remained at the Muong in Hoi An. Next time, I'm spending a month here.

I read previous reviews concerning the Hoi An Beach resort, particularly that the rooms were old and in much need of painting. Also I read criticism about the staff, particularly the reception staff not being friendly. My experience from my recent visit (March 2010) was that all staff, including the reception staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The resort was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My only regret was that after staying here for two nights, I wished that I could've stayed longer. There is a nice pool and internet facilities. The room was very clean and fresh.I had requested a river view. This was not provided as I received an end room. Technically next to the river, but not overlooking the river as I had expected. I didn't complain as I stayed only for two nights. Had I planned to stay longer I wouldv'e requested a room with a better view. The resort is some way from Hoi An (4 km), however that wasn't too much on an inconvenience as there was a free shuttle bus to Hoi An. The only problem I encountered one evening ( 9.30 pm), was a large group waiting to return to the hotel so I opted to take a taxi. There is a gorgeous, quiet beach across the road from the resort. I was very impressed with this resort, having stayed in several places in Vietnam. I would love to stay here again, and would definitely stay longer.

We were so glad that we picked Hoi An Eco Lodge & Spa for our stay in Hoi An. It was absolutely perfect and the staff was so service-minded. It's a fairly new hotel and they're still building here and there but nothing that'll annoy you for sure. We stayed in the biggest room - the Club Suite - and if you wanna spoil yourself this is really nice, especially with the outdoor bathtub and the terrace with sun chairs for relaxing. We went to the spa the day after arrival and wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend had a 90 min deep tissue massage and I had the same as well as a 30-minute salt body scrub and a 30-minute aloe vera and honey body wrap. After finishing I was offered a cup of tea and a small snack. They had a promotion for 50% off for all treatments as they just opened recently - so very affordable. We borrowed the hotel bicycles for free and went to An Bang Beach for a full day - really nice ride and very easy to find. We didn't mind that the hotel wasn't located in the centre of Hoi An. We could've used the hotel's free shuttle buses that went to both An Bang Beach and Hoi An centre several times a day, but we forgot about it and went by cab instead. It was a short 10-minute drive and cost around 80-90.000 vdn. We had dinner at the hotel twice which was really good. No complaints at all. The breakfast was good as well with the possibility to have a freshly cooked omelette, scrambled eggs etc. The only recommendation would be to cover the fresh meats and fruit so the small flies can't access it as easily. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect and we will for sure recommend it to everyone staying in Hoi An.

Our stay at Pho Hoi Riverside Resort was everything we wanted, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room had everything we needed but did wonder why no towel rails, bed was a bit hard but seems to be the norm in most places we have stayed in Vietnam (not a big deal ). We enjoyed the breakfasts but ate out the rest of the time as there were so many beautiful restaurants to try. Markets are handy but need to learn how to say "no thank you" as it can get a bit much when you just want to look. Loved the gardens and an amazing pool to come back too after a busy day out, was great to be able order food and drinks by the poolside. A fantastic place to stay, we definitely would stay here again. Not so busy in Hoi An, so were able to hire scooter which took us to Ancient Hoi An, Marble mountain, 2 places not to be missed.

I would say the stay at Little Hoi An was one of the best throughout our whole Vietnam trip, well maybe even better than any we had in Singapore. They had the best customer service, which me and my bf were really happy with. We were greeted with smiles and lots of useful information when we first checked in. All the staffs were really friendly and smiley, especially Hienn and Susan. The both of them were really helpful and went the extra miles to answer all of our needs, that really brightened our 3 nights stay there :) We had the deluxe room, though the view ain't that good, we thought that the room has a simple yet elegant decor. We were so satisfied with the room that we actually extended one more night to stay in Hoi An. The breakfast spread is not that large but definitely sufficient and really delicious. There's always staffs around to serve either bread, vietnamese crepe or iced coffee. Once again, we were overwhelmed by the awesome service rendered, really way better than what a typical 4 star hotel will offer. Lastly, the location is really awesome we thought, as we can always spend the evening walking from the romantic ancient town to our hotel. We enjoyed being near the locals, and yet able to enjoy the quiet moments with each other. Definitely going back to this hotel if we visit Hoi An in the future. Highly recommended!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was huge, super clean, and had an amazing view of the pool and river. We had a good size balcony with comfortable chairs and a little table. Breakfast was included and we always left full! The best part is the staff!! We call them our Hoi An family. Flower, first greeted us and took care of every little thing we needed and always with a bright smile and a sweet laugh. And Lily, was always a delight, inquiring about our plans to see if she could help with bookings or just help make suggestions . The hotel is just outside the center of town, which we preferred, and they provided us with bicycles free of charge everyday. A quick 10 minute bike ride and we were in the middle of everything. 20 min in the opposite direction, we were at the beach. We highly recommend this hotel. Be good to our Hoi An family! We miss you guys!!
