My room was upgraded to Villa. Large room with excellent amenities from Alila. I love the large bed. Great service from all the staff and special thanks to Mr Alvin Yeoh (Sales manager) that took us to nearby bamboo forest and warm interaction from Mr Marco (GM). I enjoy all the food from western and chinese local food. I love the cocktail making class, BBQ and rice wine from Alila. The minus : staff need to improve English.

The hotel is not that big but it is new and design quite well. It is modern and actually the designer is Also the owner. The staff is very friendly and helpful during our stay. The designer actually greeted us personally when we arrived. They have a few room options for you to choose from. Highly recommend to book the highest floor as you can see better view from the room. About five minutes drive there is a nice park that you can actually walk and walk along the path. Should try their nong jia dinner.

Cozy guesthouse surronded by the mountains you can easily acces the trekking routes and spend days just walking through a wonderful and peaceful bamboo forest. The family who runs the place is just lovely. As a solo traveller they took care of me and made feel at a second home. The daughter speaks fluent English and the mum cooks delicious homemade meals a la carte with fresh products from the region. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back :)

We stayed for a weekend. Compared to others that would charge an arm and a leg, Solvang Village's price is reasonable. Location was perfect. It was tucked away from all the other hotels - giving you all the privacy you want. It's close to hiking trails.. totally peaceful :) The staff was amazing too! Email requests and questions were answered, as soon as you get there, Tony offered us a welcome beer.. the 2 filipino Ayis were very hospitable.. the rooms were great.. we stayed in the king bedroom... i just can't tell you enough how great this place is :)

Rooms are very spacious n brightly decorated. The owner provide transport from bus station n also to the scenic areas n back in his comfortable BMW while our kids travel in the Hello Kitty electric car as we have nine people n the kids like the experience more than BMW. As I m vegetarian the boss even prepare some porridge n pickled vegetables with salted egg for our breakfast which is extras not included in the room booking. My youngest wet the bed at night n they refuse my offer to pay for laundry. Overall a great experience with this hotel.

Its in an old part of town, a little hidden away, this was a low cost hotel and that was really the fairest thing to say, very little English knowledge, people smoked throughout the hotel, although the room was smoke free but the lifts were not No visa accepted so deposit and anything else was all cash It was clean and the bed was comfortable, only a bar of soap in the bathroom and the bathroom was very old, towels very this, heater worked as it was cold the nights I was there I probably was too much of a cheap skate this time and would not do it again Wifi worked although it was intermittent

This hotel is very pleasant and is a relatively low rise development by Chinese standards. Whenever I have been there (maybe 4 times now) it is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are helpful, but not many (reception do) speak English (not a problem for me as I can order a cold beer in Chinese which is all I need). The rooms are nicely appointed. Good quality beds, clean, nice bathrooms, balcony. However, don't leave the balcony door open, there are lots of mosquito's around this area near the lake. Good views over the lake. Breakfast is not the best I've had in China by a long way, it is a little too Chinese for my tastes. However, it has coffee, toast, cereal and fruit so it's fine. My tip is to leave the hotel around 7pm, turn left out of the hotel, within 100 metres go through the gate on the left beside the little guard house. This short walk through trees takes you to the promenade. Turn left, you will see the light show in the distance, and walk for around 15 minutes until you get to the majestic Sheraton Huzhou Hotel. The light show on this amazing building lasts for about 2-3 hours, and if you are in Huzhou you MUST see it. There are lots of Chinese people around taking pics, and there are quite a few Chinese restaurants nearby. A room at Landison is about 60USD. At the Sheraton about 250USD. The best bit of the Sheraton is the light show, the rooms are nothing special and wifi isn't free! So stay at the Landison and walk along to see the Sheraton light show (20 minute walk) I only stay 1 night generally and get a lift to and from the hotel, so bear that in mind if you don't have transport or are staying longer.

Initially the Hotel assigned me to a room much smaller than advertised. I had to call Agoda to be reassigned, but only to a Twin Room, not a Double as I paid for. Agoda footed the extra - which I feel should have been covered by the Hotel. One of the two beds in the newly assigned room smells. The staff were indifferent. Loud drilling noise starts in the early morning, i.e. 5～6am. And despite the higher price, breakfast is not covered. Not recommended.

I wish we could afford to come here again and again. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and the rooms are great. We stayed in the huge family rooms with lofts. The food was outstanding. The facilities were great including the library with board games. The hike up to the top is very long but worth it. They came to pick us up twice! The staff is very responsive— in fact they have a hotel WeChat account so it makes it easy.

Overall, we had a nice time there- the area is very nice and the room is very special and cozy. However, I can speak Chinese so we could managed in the area, but I wouldn't recommend to guests who can't speak Chinese to say at this hotel, as no one there can even communicate in English, not even in the most simple way. Plus, it's better to get there with your own car, as the way up to the mountain is not so near by and taxi wouldn't be so cheap.

My girlfriend and I decided to spend a couple days exploring Moganshan as a brief respite from Shanghai. But where to stay? We settled on the Nuan Nuan Inn—apparently also known as the Waaarm Inn—which is located in Moganshanzen, the small village at the base of the mountain. Buses leave regularly from the village's "Tourist Distribution Center" up to the sightseeing areas on the mountainside, plus the village has charms of its own which you might miss by lodging up there. Anyway, the owners of the Nuan Nuan Inn were super friendly and helpful, although they didn't speak any English. They also provide a satisfying breakfast every morning. The room was clean with plenty of personality. Overall, we were very happy with our choice. One thing to note: if you book a room here through Agoda, you'll still need to pay at the inn during checkout, since the owners can't collect payment via this website. Make sure you either have your WeChat set up or cash on hand so you can pay!

This guest house is located at the foot of the Moganshan national park, an area which has turned mostly to a playground for the riches and wealthy travellers. With that in mind, the cost for a room at Guoyue is "reasonable". Don't expect luxury though. It is simple and clean and the family running the place is helpful and dedicated. I had the room on the first floor facing the house/family cleaning area with no view at all. That turned out to be the reason I had the cheapest room in the place. It is easily accessible from the street and does not require climbing steep hills or stairways with luggages. The place was quiet at night even though sold out during my stay. The breakfast is plenty but serves only chinese dishes. The restaurant offer is limited but decent. Prices are, just like anything in the area, very high. On average, you will pay a meal twice what it would cost you in Shanghai or Hangzhou for the same quality.
