Best hotels & accommodations in Jodhpur

After experiencing the noise, dust and grime that goes with travel in India, it was nice to relax in the luxury of this hotel. We were leaving from Jodhpur Airport the next day so this hotel was well placed to get us to the airport on time. Professionally run. My best sleep in 2 weeks in India!!

The Raas Hotel was an oasis in the middle of busy Jodhpur. Their continental food and breakfast (French toast!) was the best we've had in India and the Indian food was up there as well. Food is definitely their strong suit. The hotel has an emphasis on design and is an interesting mix of traditional and modern. We stayed in C block and it was a bit noisy from the ...

One of the best hotel stay of my life. The hospitality was impeccable, the services and facility at the hotel were amazing. Don't miss the sunset at the Lake in the hotel. The Swimming pool, Golf and Cycle Ride around the property was a superb experience. I would highly recommend this hotel in Jodhpur.

This is a wonderful place to locate your self if you are visiting Jodhpur. It has everything you could possibly need to relax in comfort, be pampered, and within easy reach of the Fort and other places of historic interest, nd the extrodinary bazzar oozing with colourful life, and amazing shops featuring textiles, jewellery, and antiques. The food is excellent in the t...

At the Shahi Guest house you are welcomed by Bantu and Anu, a lovely young couple who runs the guest house (Anu features in "Caroline Quentin: A Passage Through India" when Caroline visits Jodhpur). The guest house is in the middle of the bluest part of the "Blue City" Jodhpur, and the view from the roof top is excellent. The Shahi Suit where I stayed for a week wa...

Suprisingly wonderful in the middle of Jodhpur. The hotel is located slightly away from Clock Tower, but next door is a shopping mall. The hotel service with s smile. The swiming pool is lovely. "live like a Raja in Jodhpur" is the word to summary my stay in Rambanga Palace Hotel.

We stayed there around late October 2016. We booked 4 rooms. As soon as we entered int he hotel we were greeted by hotel staff. Staff was very cooperative & supportive. Rooms are really big and they were very clean. Swimming pool, Gym, Restaurant and there is a very huge lawn if you want to do morning/evening walk. Hotel is surrounded by trees all around and over...

This remains my favorite hotel in jodhpur. It's got great style, atmosphere and location. Service in the restaurant is especially good. And there's no better place to finish a busy day than on the rooftop restaurant enjoying sunset against the backdrop of the fort.

Hotel is right in the middle of Jodhpur. It's an oasis from the flies and rubbish in the streets (as you get in most cities here). The pool is a welcome relief, but it's small - you don't sit around it with a beer - you go up to the roof top after swim. On an evening kites are flown from all the roof tops. Manager is wonderful guy who lent me £10 on arrival to pay ...

Mandore guest house was literally a rare breath of fresh air in Jodhpur and India. Walking through the gates into the large garden was instantly relaxing and peaceful away from the noises of traffic and smells of India. Though not centrally located it is really easy to travel around to the sights of Jodhpur as the staff can arrange and prenegociate the prices of transp...

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD IN THIS HOTEL. STAFF WAS COOPERATIVE. BUT PLEASE MIND THAT EXTRA BED MEANS AN EXTRA MATTRESS ON WHICH THE EXTRA PERSON IS SUPPOSED TO SLEEP ON FLOOR. WE DECIDED TO UPGRADE AND PAID RS 400/- PER DAY EXTRA TO THE HOTEL AND GOT A SPACIOUS AND 2 SINGLE BED ROOMS (WITH 2 ADEQUATE SIZE SINGLE BEDS ON WHICH 2 PEOPLE CA N SLEEP/ADJUST COMFORTABLY). Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jodhpur. This stunning boutique hotel is a labour of love which the genuine, generous and kind brothers and Uncle - Sam, Guchi and Kailash - who built and decorated over three years to a level of art which has to be seen to be appreciated. A stunning location right next door to the famous step well (Toorji Ka Jhalra) and walking distance...

Nice modern hotel with 5 star standards amenities. Staff is courteous and food is good . Good parking area as hotel is located in peaceful area of Jodhpur . They upgraded my room at no extra cost as the room i've booked was given to foreigners. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Jodhpur .

We stayed in the Heritage Kuchaman Haveli Hotel for a couple of nights and we were very happy with the location. It is quite, away from the noisy India, but at the same time you are inside the city walls and you are walking distance to almost everywhere. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is good enough, but for dinner, take other options in the city before you...

We couldn't recommend The Almond Tree highly enough! We loved our stay here and would definitely come back, given the chance. We were in Udaipur before coming to Jodhpur and we were pleased by the relax vibe of the city. We thought our easy going trip will end once we get out of Udaipur, however, staying in The Almond Tree made our Jodhpur leg an enjoyable and smooth ...

Staying at the Suraj Haveli Jodhpur was a highlight on my trip to India. The owner and Family were incredibly welcoming. I felt comfortable and cared for from the very beginning. Jee Ri Haveli is a nice hotel. The location is in the old city of Jodhpur, great location ... 5 minutes walking distance to the clock tower which is one of the main attractions in Jodhpur. The room is very clean ! Very Cool AC and beautiful view of the Merangarh Fort from the room window. It has one of the best view in Jodhpur. When you walk outside the hotel, of cour...

In our 15 days of India we stayed at hotels that ranged from 1* to 5*s. Singhvi's Haveli was by far our favorite. The food was delicious (I recommend the Singhvi special-one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten). The staff was incredibly polite and helpful (they set up our zipline over the fort(Totally recommend this!) and our driver to and from Jaiselmer (ha...

Juna Mahal is a real jewel of guest house; the rooms are lovely decorated and very clean; you also get shampoo and shower gel as well as free wifi; the haveli is very well kept, the family very sweet and the cook fantastic! on the roof terrace, you have 360 degree view over jodhpur; overall this is the best guesthouse I have stayed in in two months of india. thank you ...

We had a great visit at Jodhpur Heritage Haveli Guesthouse. Everyone is so friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The best part for us was the rooftop which has a spectacular view of the old city and the fort. They serve food up there so it is also a great spot for dinner. It is an easy walk to get to the clock tower and other local attractions/ restaurants. ...

This accomodation is eligible for business hotel. Surroundings are tranquil and it is near from the airport. Unfortunately I took ill with bronchitis - fortunately I booked into Inn Season where the comfort of the room and the personal care afforded by the owner and his staff made my stay as enjoyable as possible. I loved the 1930's character of the hotel and the deco details of the furnishings and appointments. Highly recommended on all counts save the wifi signal that was a...

Had two nights at crashpad and then we visited a rural village an hour west of Jodhpur, organized through the hostotel (everything from free drive to the bus station and someone leading us to the village). It is located about 20minutes from the city centre, walking distance, in an area with cheaper restaurants. The trip they organized to the rural village was the hig...

My stay at The Govind was a complete joy, from start to finish. After reading so many positive online reviews for such a reasonably priced hotel, my expectations were high; but still The Govind managed to surpass all my expectations. I have travelled abroad extensively, and stayed at a number of hotels in Rajasthan of varying quality and price : The Govind is without d...

Amor, the guy who runs the place is extremely polite and welcoming, so is the rest of the staff. The rooms are beautifully painted and clean. Bed is confortable. If you come in summer it's highly advisable to get one of the air con rooms if you want to sleep at night as it gets really hot. The place have a nice rooftop terrace where they serve the food. For this price...

We liked Inda because of the view it has from its sunny rooftop; and the room was the biggest we have had so far in a budget hotel in India. What we didn't like * There is lack of service. Staff (family business) is not communicative, plates can stay dirty on tables for more than a night, and food is quite overpriced for its quality. Twice we had to ask them to pu...

I enjoyed my 2 nights at Yogi Guest House. It's not too far from the railway station and is located in one of the many quaint pretty backlanes with an awesome view of the Mehrangarh Fort. I got a deluxe room and had a view of the impressive fort and more interestingly, a view of the pretty blue houses Jodhpur is known for. I enjoyed observing activities of the locals a...

Peaceful location, beautiful property, big clean rooms, clean toilets, very warm & hospitable hosts, superb food prepared with utmost hygiene & yes I'm a big big fan of Jagdamba Guest House and the people here. hotel is located in the heart of jodhpur know as bluecity due to its bright blue coloured buildings. this is a good place for backpackers, but it is not easy to reach the hotel, nor by car nor by rickshaw, anyway must go through narrow streets by foot. as staying is not expensive there, it's may be worth to enjoy walking among the blue coloured houses.

Very lovely and helpful staff! The food was amazing, probably the best 2 dinners we had in Rajasthan. The room was spacious. The bathroom was a little on the old side, but very clean. The hotel itself is very charming & located a 10 min ride from the main attractions. Great place to stay in Jodhpur!

It's a personal house with a few rooms. Don't worry you never feel unconfortable since the place is big, has a three floors and a nice roof top restaurant. They server all kinds of dishes and they do not spice them if you ask them for, prices for food are ok. Staff is helpful and friendly. On the bad side beds have no matress, the matress are basically two blakets fo...

We really enjoyed Tanu Guest House! So much so, we extended our stay. We booked online only moments before walking in and although they of course weren't yet notified of our booking, they greeted us with a smile and took us to our room immediately. The family is very sweet and accommodating (he even took me to his tailor). The food was cooked fresh and very tasty a...

The property is located just outside the main city of Jodhpur but is an excellent place to stay. Commute to the city is not at all a problem if you have your own vehicle – auto rickshaws are also available in plenty for commute. The rooms spacious, fitted with all modern amenities and are spotlessly clean. The staff is professional and they have a veg restaurant with...

This is a neat and cosy place with a great location. The breakfast was reallu very good. The best part was that along with a very hospitable staff, The owner himself was a really nice and helpful person. Overall it was a great place to stay and would recommand it to everyone who is looking for medium budget hotel.

We had an amazing stay @ Bhavyam. Although we arrived far to early, the family welcomed us with open arms. The room with bathroom was new and spotless. The rooftop restaurant had amazing views and the food was fresh, good and cheap! Highly recommended!

Our stay at this hotel was good, the view of the fort was amazing from the roof top restaurant, the staff was very helpful in organizing day trips, the food at the restaurant was very well priced. The only complaint I have is about the room. There were plenty of windows but you could not open a single one due to privacy issues.

We stayed here for a night. We arrived the hotel about 6 am and they accepted us checked in and took rest in the room. We had a plan to take a bus at night and they offered us kept our bags in a room and took shower without charge. We booked for a night but it seems we stays for 2 days and a night This is the worth hotel in Jodhpur!! Don't miss it

I didn't find the hotel as a hotel , its a banquet hall for marriages n Party which is used as a hotel as well, located in Industrial area. Traveler impressions of Jodhpur
The blue city is one that would be a foodie paradise. Different types of street snacks from Pakodas to Lassi are a must try in this city especially around the Clock Tower.
Jodhpur is definitely worth to be seen. We would particularly recommend the visit of the old city and the fort.
The roof top restaurant St Pal Haveli is worth a visit at night. Food great. And the Fort is lit up at nightime providing a wonderful view
Jodhpur is famous for its Fort which is the main attraction. Besides there are few other places with ancient temples, gardens and market for traditional indian stuff
Very beautiful city with lot of historic monuments. Well planned traffic and local people are friendly.
Not much to see in the city. Can go around the city in a day if you start early in the morning. Most of the attractions are located close to eachother.
Get on an organised tour if you want, but for 2 or 4 people, its much better to simply hire a car and driver for the day.
Jodhpur is good for sight seeing, heritage hotels, forts, museums, traditional culture of India, monuments, clothes, shopping, food & handicrafts.
Stunning views of the blue city of Jodphur combined with spectacular architecture, and a wonderful museum.
Its very nice historical city, people are very friendly & cooperative, very safe for couples and single traveller as well , Girls should take 3 stars and above hotels, most of the hotels are very safe.
Lots of spectacular history and locations to see Mandore Gardens was a pleasant way to meet Jodhpur locals out for an afternoon family gathering in the extensive gardens.
Jodhpur the city seems to be in time wrap. and has basic few interest spots and all del with the royalty or the kings and war.
Probably the most disgusting city I have travelled to in India. You can see all the sights in a day, I would not spend more then one night here.
We stayed for one night to visit the fort which was great, but perhaps an extra day or half day would have been better.
Rajsthani culture, chaos in old city but fun to experience. lot of sight seeing, great food and shopping, warm people.
Don't miss the sadar bazar around clock tower , lassi at shri mishrilal hotel, cheap and yummy. Some of shops is fixed price.
Petite ville du Rajasthan, mais fort symphatique. Son fort est hallucinant et il y aplein de bon restos.
The Joghpur Fort (Mehrangarh) is my favorite fort in India. It is so massive and the setting is incredible.
Jodphur is one of the famous city in India. You should visit this city. You can the famous Umaid Bawan Palace
If you can cope with a bit of chaos, the bazaar is great! Bishnoi village safari recommended (Yogi's guest house organises)
Jodhpur is a bustling modern Indian city with a traditional heart. The people are generally very amicable, and it is possible to make great friends here.
very nice city, quite atmospheric, locals seem friendly to tourists, great shopping for old(and "looking old") things from rajastan and the himalayas.
Shopping seemed easier and far less hassled than Jaipur. 'On the Rock' was a great place to eat and easy shopping.
it is beatiful: we visited the Fort three times, and enjoyed just walking around the city. Also, we took a tuktuk (the driver is connected to the hotel) to visit places outside, and it was worth every Rupia.
Hiring a Taxi seemed more expensive here compared to Jaisalmer or Jaipur. But shopping in Jodhpur seemed less expensive than Jaipur/Udaipur/Jaisalmer but you should know how to bargain.
Must see places: Mehrangarh fort, Umed Singh Memorial in marble, Umed Bhavan palace and museum, Rajastan Govt.
Not much to do there. You could see all the sights in one day pretty easily. But, it's a pretty great city.

this is a small hotel, previously a mansion residence, set in a lovely large garden in a quiet locality. it has a wonderful ambience, with its large comfortable rooms, furnished with antiques, set around pretty courtyards. having stayed at ratan vilas on previous occasions, it was a pleasure to have another opportunity to stay there again. the owners and managem...

Trust me on this, this has to be the best hotel that I have ever stayed in! I mean, yes, there are the 5stars and 7stars and they offer this and that. Those re technology-oriented and are good for boasting. But, this one has to be the best. Located 6-7 kms from Jodhpur, it offers and out of world experience. It's posh and earthly, at the same time. The three of us (that included a toddler) stayed at Karni Bhawan for our recent trip to the Blue City. More about Jodhpur
Jodhpur has a lot to offer by way of views and experiences, especially to the adventurous traveler. One of the biggest attractions in this city is arguably Mehrangarh Fort, which is a massive structure with a history of over 500 years, dominating the rest of the city. Mehrangarh houses an impressive museum and some of the most elaborate buildings in the city. Besides exploring all that can be found within, the fort is also the best place to get incredible panoramic views of the city from almost all angles.
Another feature of the Jodhpur skyline is the distinctive Jaswant Thada. It was built over a century ago in honor of the Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and is now a popular destination especially among visitors who can’t resist the unique white structure in the midst of this blue city.
There’s much more to see and experience in Jodhpur, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to explore where the attractions and hotels can be found in this stunning city.
