Best hotels & accommodations in Kurashiki

Hotel located near Kurashiki Station, grocery store and restaurants. Very clean with comfortable beds. They also have sauna, hot bath pool and a message chair that were really soothing after a long day of walking. Good hotel to stay while traveling to Hiroshima, Mijajima, Osaka, Kobe and others. Kurashiki has a very beautiful historical area well worth visiting.

It was by far the best hotel we've came across since travel to Japan and the affordable one to be considered. This trip we have stayed in couple of places including some home stay but this hotel is the most comfortable. We even stay at a Ryokan in Hakone but seriously Dormy is the best. Will definitely stay again if i ever return to Kurashiki.

We had a very comfortable stay in Cuore, which happened to be located in the "cuore (center)" of Kurashiki Biken Area. Within 2 minutes walk you can arrive at the famous Ohara Museum and canal area, 10 minutes walk to Ivy Square and to most of the spots in Kurashiki Biken Area. The staff are nice and welcoming. The whole hostel were decorated in an (probable) Southern ...

The location couldn't be more convenient to the station, which is perfect for late night arrivals and early morning departures. Just a 15 min walk to the amazing Kurashiki Bikan sightseeing area – we had a really amazing time here. Staff were nice and spoke some English. The reception is on the 9th floor. Comfortable rooms – we got upgraded to the Double Room for ...

This Hotel is on the main street and it's about a 5 min walk from JR Kurashiki Station. It can be a little tricky finding the lobby. There are instructions that tell you it's on the 5th floor of the Hotel's building but it's written in Japanese. The Hotel is fairly close to the Bikan Historic Area. It will take 10-15 min along the main road or the shopping street. ...

A friend and myself traveled to Okayama and my friend doesn't like dormitory lodging. We opted for this hotel because it was within our budget. The hotel did suit our needs. Breakfast was included and that was a great start to our day. Our room also had no lingering smell and was moderately clean. The bathroom definitely had spots of mold but we've found that to be inc...

we had stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we had enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is right at the heart of the tourist area. It happened that we stated in a Saturday night when the mid summer Saturday night market was held and it was in front of the hotel. The room in general was clean but the ventilation in the toilet room was not functioning. The only thin...

We had a situation late at night and help from Japanese was important. The staff was not fluent in English but still tried to communicate with us through Google Translate. I am thankful for their hospitality. Also, the room was simple and clean! I am comfortable and happy with my stay.

It's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The room is well equipped with all kinds of things travelers would need, both for female and male. The lighting and layout of the room is very relaxing like home. The reception service is thoughtful and professional.

I have been to Japan a few times but I haven't tried to stay in this chain until this trip. The location of this one in Kurashiki is right on the main street. It is about 5 mins from the station and the Bikan Historical Quarter. After I arrived, I found out the hotel is near some hostess bars. So the hotel appeared to be a bit more crowded than I expected. The staff ...

The rooms and the (japanese) breakfast were great. The owner and his wife were very polite and helpful. The bath was excellent, make sure you take one. The Location is a little of the track, so except you're travelling by car, be aware that it takes 30+ minutes from Okayama to get to the ryokan.
It is quite near to the station. The room is spacious, though the drainage in the shower is quite slow. The toilet does not have bidet, I am fine with it because the shower/ tap is just next to it. I booked the room with breakfast and dinner, I would say that it is totally worth it. The food are really fresh and tasty. I had a few bowls of rice to go with the food beca...

The guest house is run by a couple, they are really nice and helpful. They not only helped me plan the trip and printed several transport timetables for okayami city and naoshima island, but also introduced traditional local food and delicious restaurants in Kurashiki. What's more, when I got my left foot hurt at Kurashiki, yuji-san and his wife gave me a bag of wound ...

The location is right at the Kurashiki old town so it is very convenient to take a walk during stay. Staffs are very helpful and give dryou a warm welcome. Good place for backpacker with enough facilities such as kitchen, shared bathroom, laundry, etc. Only things to complain is the pillow is a bit to low and hurt my neck in the morning :)

The guesthouse is actually a 200-year old building but the interior was very neat and traditional. The staffs are very friendly (you wouldn't recognise them as staffs unless they introduced themselves) and the dining at their recommended eateries are very very cheap and delicious! The place is 10 minutes walk to a hilltop view overlooking wheat fields. The experience ...

Don't mistaken CK Business Annex for Centinn Kurashiki or that it is close by. We had a hard time asking people on the streets the whereabouts of CK Business Annex. Finally we met a kind lady who drove us to the said hotel which was at least 15 mins drive from the Shin-Kurashiki Station. The room was standard with a small toilet, however there were many electrical ...
