I stepped into my hotel room and immediately relaxed, this is one beautiful hotel in one of the most breathtaking areas of India. There were four sets of windows in my room and three overlooked the pool and the snow capped mountains. There is an air of calm and peace around the castle/hotel and the whole place feels laid back and serene. My room was huge with an e...

"Koi nahi ji, ho jayega" (No worries, it shall be done) is the general attitude of all the staff at this beautiful resort - be it reception, housekeeping or room service. The hotel has beautiful gardens and well appointed rooms with a table fan as well as a room heater, which is rare in Manali. Room are spacious and beautifully designed with local wood. The place is really nice. The room was clean and facing the mountains and river. There is a nice view. The location is just 2 kms from the Manali mall and bus station. You can easily take a cab, auto, two wheelers and explore around. The breakfast and lunch were equally nice. The staff were very very accomodating and down to earth. I was totally happy with all the supp...

Have been to manali many times before but must say that Urvashi"s retreat has been the best experience so far. Right from the upkeep of the place to the very courteous staff (which we used to find very difficult in manali besides staying at the best property also) ,our holiday experience was truly enhanced by their efforts. This place definitely deserves a 4+ star acc...

golden tulip is located river side in the heart of old manali...the hotel has very courteous staff who helped us with a smooth check inn...the rooms are nice and very spacious with beautiful views...the manali club house and the best cafes of manali r located at a walking distance...the property is old but well maintained....the breakfast spread was the only disappoint...

Heating was poor in the rooms and worst in lobby and the breakfast room . In fact it was cold. Running hot water was only available twice s day 7to 10 and 7.30 to 9.30 pm. There is no lift for elderly and physically challenged. Staff was very good courteous and willing to help. Location was better than majority of hotels in Manali views very good

Hotel location I feel was one of the best with Beas running down at backyard. Hotel staff is friendly. Wifi was not there in room as shown on hotel details. Washroom exhaust was not working inspite of requests to reception. Restaurant had limited Veggie choices. Spa and Gym was not open during our stay. River side view rooms they charge exorbitant even in off season w...

It was one of the best hotels I stayed during my last trip. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel location is excellent. Nice food available in-house. Price of food and accommodation affordable. Hotel very clean and heating facilities were available in all rooms. My family enjoyed staying at Summit. Will book same hotel for next trip to Manali. I would rate it as a Fi...

To hear the sound of the river flowing was very refreshing. Also the snow right in front of the hotel made a huge impression on us. I won't say there were any cons as such. Hotel was in walking distance to the hidimba temple. All the staffs were quite helpful with a smile in their face.

Our stay was from 4th June to 7th June, we travelled from Chandigarh to Manali by hiring a taxi. We started at around 2.30PM from Chandiragh and reached Manali at around10.30PM, by the time we reached we have informed the Hotel about our time of arrival at hotel and dinner. The manager and staff of the hotel are very nice and humble, they immediately arranged the room ...

Everything is just splendid!! Probably the best location in the entire Manali hills! The staff, service, rooms, amenities, ambience, Indian Food ) is just splendid! Professional yet courteously efficient! I would have written a book had I stayed few more days!! :) A highly recommended flagship hotel which will surely mesmerize you in every way possible! (Try staying d...

The location of the hotel is awful. It's right on the busy street, one can't sleep in the night. The rooms facing the back yard of the hotel are ever bad, there is a nullah (gutter) running adjacent to the room's balcony which stinks... I stayed in 4 different properties during my Himachal trip, this one was so aweful... Overall Manali experience has been very bad....

A very nice and beautiful resort in manali. Our stay was really comfortable and worth it. The breakfast was good. The staffs were really nice and attentive, especially Mr. Ujjwal. It was the perfect stay we could have had the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and food was very good. I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family. Hotel seems to be new with bare minimum numbers of staff. we wanted to enjoy 31st december evening there, and had asked for buffet dinner. No dinner was served till 11.00 Pm and finally when we asked for dinner, there was hardly anything in buffet menu and we just had rice and rajma of worst quality i ever had and they charge us almost same as 4 star hotel for similar...

We went there last week.. After a lot of searching on the Internet and personally speaking to the owner of the place, I must say it is one of the best properties in Manali. The cottage is centrally located in a Apple orchard with excellent view of Snow covered mountains and green surrounding all over. The room was duplex with very well maintained, I have never seen suc...

It was overall good but want to raise 2 concerns: 1. I had booked luxury room but they had given me the Deluxe room and were telling both luxury and deluxe rooms are almost same. anyways; they had given me one good mountain view room after 1 day from GF to 3rd Floor. Not sure, whether it was deluxe room or luxury room. 2. They were charging for BF also until I showed t...

We had an extremely good stay at the hotel. While the hotel had some initial housekeeping issues (electricity, damp carpet etc) the staff were extremely forthcoming & prompt in sorting out the problems & ensuring we had a great experience. One of my kids fell sick & I appreciate the efforts made by the hotel to arrange a doctor in quick time. Would certainly recommend ...

Having had a horrible nights stay elsewhere in Manali, we were so relieved to arrive at Orchards House. From the moment we stepped in to the peaceful garden, we felt at home, and knew we were going to love our stay. Varun (the owner) went above and beyond what we expected during our stay, even bringing his TV out his room so those who wanted to could watch the World C...

We were the first guests here at Panda in Manali. The kitchen wasn't ready jet but the staff was extremely nice and helpful and provided us with everything we needed (cutlery, bowls etc). Our time in Moustache was amazing, we felt so comfortable there, leaving felt a bit sad. Room was comfortable and shower was very good even in the top floor. The staff can't do enough for you! The hostel is run very well. However the cafe is not a part of moustache and whilst the manager is very nice and helpful, I've refused to eat there due to hygiene standards. The...

The location is a quick walk on an interesting trail a bit up in the mountain from Old Manali. There are awesome tracking possibilities in the surrounding areas. Staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice. Highly recommended. (They had a projector which showed World Cup) 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I was hard to find this place, because there are no signs at all. Even not at the 'hotel' itself. It's more of a homestay, but in a weird setting (actually a hotel which has been shut down a long time ago). Nobody in the area knows Rishaan Cottage, because it officially doesn't 'exist' (if u know what I mean)... But the location turned out to be right on the spot as sh...

You want a home in Manali, you go to Manali Zostel. And home is where your heart is. Zostel does it in style and you won't even realize it before the day you have to leave. The memories etched on the walls of all those wanderers whose path crossed with Zostel tells you everything more than any review ever can. A view to a kill is what you get when you enter the premi...

This resort was my best hotel experience in India so far. The views from the room were spectacular, there was free tasty breakfast every morning, and the staff were overall friendly and helpful. Good location off the main in Old Town Manali where you can get some peace and quiet. Chai quality inconsistent. Sometimes amazing, sometimes poor. Accommodation was good, perhaps not the best value but clean, spacious room and hot water so have no complaints!

From mall road to hotel distance is 1km. Auto rickshaw takes INR100 to go there. To visit solang valley hotel staff arranged a vehicle at cheap price. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. These days they are doing a renovation work. They accepts credit cards and dont get extra charges for credit card payments. This will be a good choice for budget travellers.dont h...

Apart from the ratings for the points mentioned above the Bhalla family is very helpful and they really look after the guests. We had a very good experience. They even arranged car for our sightseeing and d...

The hotel initially refused to provide the Room heater on extra payment. after argument oly we got the room heater, That too when the temperature is very below freezing point, and snowing in Manali. Later they provided 1 small room heater (on extra payment) on which one of the coils was not working. so, please check before booking if they can provide the room heater. ...

A lovely comfortable hotel, the room was spotless and cleaned every day. We were given a heater free of charge which made it very cosy. Tea/coffee making facilities in room and supplies topped up daily. Staff would go to local shops to pick up any items we needed which was very nice.Only downside would be that it is quite isolatedbeing 15km from Manali.

I travelled with my wife and 4 year old in mid Sep. Off season rates through Agoda were best. booked this hotel for our first stay in manali. next time i think i'd book drifters inn, across the river and up the hill in old manali, but this one was good for a first time. a short walk from the mall (or a really short rickshaw ride), it's a decent enough location, but you could do better. the staff were very helpful, and went to some trouble to extend our stay ...

it was a superb stay for me any my family in this hotel. we booked 3 rooms and our stay for the entire 5 nights was excellant. i would like to highlight the service of this hotel, whether the support staff, front desk or travel desk...all of them were superb... it appears that customer satisfaction is there prime goal and they go to any extent to deliver on the same. ...

Overall good experience but in the point of Value of money we are expecting little more. Elevator was not working at all. Building and rooms are not as expected in 4/5 Star hotels. Building needs renovation or repaint to compare with 4/5 Star hotels. The charge we paid was more than 5 star hotels but little bit disappointed.

stayed at the river crescent resort enroute to ladakh via manali. its a great property with very low or almost no maintaiance. one cannot walk to the main shopping center in manali from the resort, you have to take a rikshaw. the manager was quite good, he actually upgraded my room for free ( the resort almost seemed empty )

From the first minute to the last minute the staff , the service and the restaurant was very superb and helpful. It was a amazing stay in a very good location in Manali. If I come the next time to Manali - this location is my favourit. Thank you for the nice stay . Mr. Frank from Germany

Traveler impressions of Manali
Just a small city. Lot of sight seeings. Highly overpriced during season time. Small Mall road where all tourists come during evenning or night time.
I was awed by the natural beauty of Manali. It is very tourist friendly. I would want to come back again.
A very nice and scenic city. Pleasantly surprised. One of the few places in India to see snowfall. We were lucky in december
Nice city with loving people... Food choices are great Breathtaking scenic Nature Experience age old culture by visiting heritage temples.
Travelers need heavy winter cloths during visit to Manali in winter seasons. Dont forget to visit Solang valley and rohtang pass.
It's a paradise between mountains. And it is not that easy to reach with road over the hills (mostly bumpy)and adverse weather.
Ideal place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city life in metropolitan cities. In Manali, there is always a laid back sense of well being and since most of the people are traders and with this place being famous for apples, one should get a couple of baskets of apples back to gorge on as they are absolutely naturally ripened and healthy
best place to go in himachal pradesh visit solang valley if you like snow and take complete outfit on hire including shoes
Plan your Travel including a day to Rest after you are done with your Adventure stuffs like Paragliding, Skiing, River Rafting , Rappling etc.
Travel is available as far as you know how and where to go. People are quite helpful but don't give the kind of money they ask for you can definitely bargain.
People in Manali charges many times for anything from taxi, auto to sports, but the food is not costly but good.

The hotel was good and in an excellent location. However it was very disappointing and shocking when the guy at the reception confronted us when we gave our review to the front desk stating the toilet and room was not cleaned and the towel was not changed after making the room. As a matter of fact he called the room boy in front of us started an investigation there it...

We had a awesome time there and hotel manager is so much friendly and full of hospitality. Manali road was closed due to landslides and we stuck in manali for two days. The manager helped us a lot to get updates about the road and offered late checkout for free. Super flexible.
