More about Palu

Palu is the capital city of the province of Central Sulawesi in Indonesia. The small city, situated at the tip of a narrow bay and sheltered by mountain ridges, hosts many natural wonders that attract many tourists. Palu is easy to reach thanks to Komodo Beach located 10km away.

Palu is famous for beautiful beaches like Tanjung Karang, Towale, Enu, Malera, and Moian. Water sports and diving are a common tourist activity. The city is also a favorite among tourists as a perfect base to explore Central Sulawesi. The chief natural attraction is the Lore Lindu Natural Reserve. Lake Lindu and the wonderful flora and fauna of the island can all be enjoyed here. Other areas to enjoy water sports include the ancient seaport of Donggala as well as Lake Poso. Monolithic structures of an ancient civilization can be explored in Bada Valley, and more exploration can be had in the city’s Central Sulawesi Museum.
