Quang Ngai is not really set up for tourists it more of a quick stop for a bit of sightseeing you have to get a taxi for everywhere you want to go as they do not hire motorbikes like they do in other parts of vietnam they are very friendly in Quang Ngai but speak very limited english
Quang Ngai is a fairly small town that has not really developed a huge tourist vibe in the same way as the more famous towns like, Hoi An, Hue, etc.
As such it is a place you can go to sample the real Vietnam. The people here a friendly but for me the best thing is the scenery just outside of the town.
A quiet place..a change from the hustle everywhere else in Vietnam..very friendly people..not much to do other than the Me Lai museum at My Son.
