Visited some family in Rach Gia after my wedding, and we booked 5 deluxe rooms. Had a mix up with one room where they put me and my new wife in a suite room. We went out to dinner and came back and they said they had to kick us out because the a/c wasn’t working. Finally they admitted the mistake and they called the manager who after a long discussion told us we could ...

We are very happy to choose this hotel. We would to say thank you to all staff , speciallly to miss NGOC at the receiption desk. she was very polite, happy to serve and provide us with all of the information we needed. Highly recommended to any one who come to visit Rach gia.

i had originally booked two nights as decided to stay 2 nights in rach gia before heading phu quoc. suffice to stay i went to phu quoc at 8 am aftr my first night, i arrived at the hotel and yes it was a pleasant enough looking hotel. the problem is it is about 3 miles from town and there is nothing to do there. i hired a moped and on my return the gear pedal broke....

I only stayed one night but could not believe how great it was. The taxi service is brilliant, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The taxi drove me to the office for the superdong ticket, then drove me into the city, then picked me up and took me to a restaurant for dinner. This place is very underrated! Stay here! Best option in Rach gia

WiFi is fast when available but the signal doesn’t reach all rooms. Shower isn’t heated but has good pressure. Some of the beds are quite hard. Room smelt a bit like a gym locker room when we arrived, but nothing too bad. This is a love hotel mostly rented by the hour by young Vietnamese couples who want some privacy from their families. We saw very few overnight guest...

The room we booked was huge with 1 King and 1 Queen-size beds and comes with a balcony. It quite clean and besides the staff is friendly and helpful. Only complain is the shower flow is a bit slow and weak thus have to spend more to clean up. But I think location is one of the selling points for this hotel . Just outside the hotel is a nice alfresco coffee house where...

Read mixed reviews but my stay was great. English speaking reception led me to river and ocean walks. Local ferry for local boats. Helped with laundry town charges by item) she gave me a great rate. Room had 3 large windows. Can smoke in room...yeah. Lots of local places to eat. Not in modern area. River walk 5 min. Thought would not Rach Gia but local area is nice.

Hard to fault the room for the price, except the TV reception was rubbish. It was just a strange night. We'd been travelling in Cambodia and Vietnam for a while and it just felt uncomfortable here. The hotel seemed deserted and we were on the very top floor of a building that just seemed out of character with the whole place. Can't fault the room for the price but it's...

My family were not happy to stay at this hotel the reception look like not trust us even we already paid through Pagoda company nut I still has a problem when I check in the room was dirty and old the function in the bath room work really bad I ask them to buy tickets Savana to Phuquoc by boat they told me it was bankrupt and buy Superdong that I don't like next mornin...

This hotel is in the new part of Rach Gia. It is about 1 block from the sea (no beach). It is a distance from the ferry dock. There are only restaurants and bars in the vicinity. No tour offices, no markets, no street vendors, no shopping. It is quiet but boring. Taxi to the Ferry is about $55,000 dong.

We were only staying one night in Rach Gia so Linda was perfect for us. It was clean and we had one of the large balcony rooms. At first they tried to give us a room without balcony and it looked really small. When we arrived staff didn't speak much english so have your agoda booking number ready.

Rach Gia is a place that has very little tourist traffic other than travelers making their way to Phu Quoc Island. As a result, I think it would be difficult to find a hotel with staff who have strong English skills and experience helping foreign guests. At Hong Gia 2 the staff were like this, with only one girl speaking more than a couple words of English. However,...

The hotel is clean and quite new, everything works well, even the TV worked fine and had English channels! The hot shower was pretty cold, but we didn't complain, maybe it was bad luck. Staff doesn't speak much English, but arranging a transport to Ho Chi Minh City was no problem. Location is OK, wouldn't say there is a real city center in Rach Gia, but in 5 min you ar...

Despite the fact that no English is spoken the staff are warm and friendly. Fortunately I had a Vietnamese friend who translated for me. It was worth it as the hotel whilst small, the rooms are large and clean. Well worth getting through the language barrier as is great value for money. Be aware that there are no meals at the hotel however there are restaurants and a s...

This hotel is right near Citimart and the waterfront which made shopping easy. The room exceeded my expectations with an especially large bathroom. I liked the modern furniture and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Comfortable, well appointed budget hotel. Would stay againd.

Good stay and internet. Near city bus station, city market, old water market. On this bus station is a booking office for long distance (sleeper)travel. A minibus brings you then to the big bus station outside town. Staff does not speak english. They have to learn to cooperate. Did take long time before they found my booking. Had to ask for city map.

This is a very nice and clean hotel in a good location. Close to many restaurants, cafe' and close to the sea. Staff is friendly and courteous although very little English is spoken. I have stayed here many times now and will continue to use when I return

When I check-in, I was surprised that the hotel did not receive the Hotel Voucher from Agoda. After some persuasions, the hotel staff allowed me to check in (Do not know whether they understand what I was talking). However, when I checked out , they wanted me to pay for my stay despite me showing a copy of the the Hotel Voucher in my I-phone. As a result, it had del...

We enjoyed our stay at An An, it's in the midst of Rach Gia's lively coffee culture scene and just a few minutes walk from the market and various food stalls. The room was small but perfectly formed, probably the cleanest we've stayed in in Vietnam. Would recommend.

Phuc Ngoc Hotel is an enjoyable, quiet place to stay in Rach Gia. The rooms are clean, internet signal strong, and the have good breakfast selections. They are located next door to a shopping mall that has a super market, clothing stores, an arcade, and fast food. Also along the street their are local food vendors and a park across the street. It's a great place to gat...
