Frankly to say, I have traveled to Vancouver so many times and stayed in so many different hotels. Atrium of course can't compare with higher class 5 stars hotels....but as value for money, Atrium tops them all! Very good booking price vs good services, clean room, breakfast and underground very secured parkings. I will pretty sure I will book Atrium again for next tra...

We took Snowbus from Whistler to Vancouver, which stopped at the hotel. Very central location, with Burrard Skytrain Station right in front as well. Close to Robson Street, Pacific Centre, Hudson Bay, etc. Stayed in several hotels in Vancouver before, and can confidently say that the Hyatt is in an unbeatable location. We had connecting rooms at 1211 and 1212. One ...

Great location and close to the heart of the city and to the waterfront and public transport. Hotel was spacious, modern and staff where very helpful and lovely. If I was to return back to Vancouver I would definitely stay here again, without question. Highly recommend

Me and my son's first trip to Vancouver. My husband took us there for New Year's Celebration. Hotel is fantastic with great breakfast. The room is very clean. It has comfortable 2 queen beds with lots of soft and comfy pillows. We had an amazing view of the water, mountains and some part of the other city. The best part was, we had the view for the Fireworks. But the ...

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Vancouver and were having a hard time finding an affordable hotel that would be reasonably far from the city center. We went with the Comfort Inn in North Vancouver and were pleased with the accommodations. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room, as well as the hotel itself, is a bit old, but the room was clean...

Best Western is located in West end near the English bay. Since Vancouver downtown is pretty small and covered by a great transportation. Getting into the hotel from the train station was pretty easy with skytrain or bus. The hotel building is an old one with an elevator looks like the 80s but the room is pretty homey. Nice room amenities, great mattras and many goose ...

After a long Summer having visitors in Seattle, we decided to spend our anniversary weekend away. After deciding Vancouver was the spot I decided it was going to be a decadent weekend and opted for the club level room. Which was a great decision, the continental breakfast was actually very good and it was nice to start the day off with the view from the 25th floor. T...

We picked this hotel because it was walking distance from the Waterfront train station. Arriving from the airport by train allowed us to avoid the traffic on the freeways coming into town. Fast, easy, friendly check in allowed us to start exploring Vancouver right away. The only issue was the amount of homeless/drug user/vagrants in the surrounding neighborhoods, but t...

This is the tallest and newest hotel in Vancouver and is fitted out to an exceptional stadard throughout. The rooms are really spacious and the ensuites have to be seen to be believed. Our package included b/fast which was a full menu in the hotel signature restaurant and again was very good. The only flaw we found was the reception area had only room for one check-in des...

I have booked Loden Vancouver for my friend visiting from Hong Kong for 1 week. Upon her arrival she expressed how impressed she is over her last year's stay at Four Seasons. The location was great, just a short 5-7 minute walk to the port. Restaurants / shops were in close walking proximity. The staff was very friendly and helpful in navigating around the city. The rooms were very clean and the property is well maintained. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

We stayed at Moda for 3 nights. We found the hotel easily when driving into the city and it was very handy to have on street parking outside to be able to drop our bags before returning our hire car to a car park drop off further up Seymour street. The room was ready even though it was well before check in and the staff were very friendly and welcoming at check in. T...

Overall, our stay at the best western chateau on Granville street, Vancouver, was great. We were out there for my sisters stagette party and had booked 2 rooms. We were very happy that our 2 rooms were adjacent to eachother. The front staff was very friendly and although there was a big line up in front of us, they moved very quickly, without leaving anything out. ...

It was our first time to Vancouver and we had no idea where to stay but we lucked out when we found the Burrard. It has recently had a facelift and has a mid century modern/ hipster vibe now. From the postcards instead of hotel binder to the silver ottomans and acrylic tables and charming signage with eco friendly tips we couldn't have loved it more. The location is sm...

Damn good; very good location, fine staff and facilities (although we had little time to avail ourselves of them). We found it while searching for a hotel for our first Vancouver visit. So many in the same area and for reasons I can no longer recall, we selected the Coast Coal Harbour. Next visit, whenever that may be we will come back SR

The room was very clean and comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee and juices were available in the lobby. Staff were helpful and polite and parking was free on site while spaces were available. The location was perfect for us, close to Pacific Station, but may none as convenient for other travellers. There are good bus links within easy walking distance however. The ...

Our room was ready, clean, welcoming. The Westin is located on the water, so you can watch the boats from your balcony. There is a "hop on hop off" trolley stop at the hotel, as well as an inner city bus stop within walking distance. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood, with a wide array of ethnic food choices. It is also within walking distance to the best ...

This hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood, filled with great restaurants and shops, and only a short walk from the Canada Line train. The hotel room we stayed in was comfy and clean, and the staff who checked us in were really helpful and pleasant. Definitely would stay here again if visiting Vancouver.

We booked two rooms for a total of seven people at this property as part of an Alaskan Cruise. Oor plan was to have over 24 family members from around the world meet in Vancouver before boarding a cruise through the inside passage. While many of our group chose to stay in the (far) more expensive properties around Canada Place Harbour,we used our Agoda Points to bo...

I am regular customer here at HI Vancouver Central. I have been using this hostel for more than five years. Facilities are getting improved. Staffs are always helpful and friendly. The only concern that I have is that the price is not the same as few years ago. Hostel is supposed to be financially friendly as well. But I am not sure of the increase in price in recent...

When we first realised the Holiday Inn North Vancouver was so far out of town we were concerned but we soon discovered that great value and frequent public transport was available right at the gate, coming and going. The room and fcilities were excellent. a bonus for us over 60s was the special "60s and more' breakfast and dinner meals menu which discouraged us from...

The staff there , especially a young man named Genesis were Exceptional . Our first time to Vancouver and to Canada . We stayed there a Couple of Days after a cruise to Alaska . It was my Wife’s Birthday and they Made It Very Special for her. Vancouver is a Very Friendly, and and Safe City . It has some of the most beautiful parks we have ever seen. Genesis helped...

Location of the hotel is great. It's an access to shopping centers and no need to ride a vehicle. we can just walk and take our time going to international shopping malls. I really like the rooms. The resto staff were very friendly. We love the service and the foods. Coffee is great. Surely, we had a place to stay when we go back to Vancouver.

Room is spotless, always a Hilton trademark, near the BC place, along Robson street which has different food options to choose from. Has breakfast and free shuttle service within downtown, but mostly accessible bu foot. too bad we only stayed for a night but we greatly enjoyed our stay.
Cheapest hotels in Vancouver (BC)

Breakfast is what you would find at a regular motel, juice cereal fruit coffee, of course you can cook your own. I bit on the warm and muggy side as the window is small and it is difficult to air out the room. I received bad advice to walk to the aquarium. It was too far and the signs inadequate to find it once inside the park. Best to take the number 6 bus. Otherwise ...

I had to go to Vancouver for a quick meeting and brought my daughter with me, as she was on spring break. This hotel isn't the closest to the downtown core, where activities for children (science world, aquarium, Stanley park) are located. But it was the most inexpensive one I found on agoda. I have stayed here a number of time while going to Vancouver for work or as a...

Travelling alone in Vancouver on a cold rainy winter is an adventure but luckily I booked a great hotel located at the heart of downtown Vancouver near the Holy Rosary Cathedral, big shopping malls and sandwiched between Granville and Stanley Chinatown MRT stations. the hotel is perfectly situated at the corner of nelson st and granville st, right in the center of vancouver downtown, with great restos, shops and public transport access as soon as you leave the hotel. the staff is quite young (likely early 20s) but very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable of the different ways to get to different sites throughout vancouver. t...

I have Platinum Status with Marriott+Starwood. Didn't feel acknowledged by front desk or anyone else. The hotel does not have a feel of hospitality. The good thing is the Lounge on 25th floor. It was a good experience with good food and service. There are probably much better hotels in the area.

The Residence Inn is clearly a good option for anyone wanting to stay in Vancouver. The staff were really great and friendly. The breakfast was decent but quite busy. The rooms were clean and adequately stocked. The hotel was just 2-3 blocks away from actual downtown... a very convenient location with a 7 / 11 right in front of the door step. Definitely a place...

In my opinion, Sylvia is a right choice for people who want to depart from here to downtown for shopping or just take a walk to view Vancouver panorama, especially along the sea. Service in hotel is good enough, foods in restaurant are delicious. However you should pay for tea or coffee if you want to have in room.

We had a very pleasant stay. We decided to stay at this hotel based on all the great reviews and it certainly lived up to the expectation. I especially appreciate the customer service we recieved. I felt very much at ease at this hotel and will continue to return everytime we visit Vancouver.

We enjoyed our stay here :) lovely house with character. Great location. Breakfast was delicious. Manager was efficient but not very friendly. No friendly conversation or show of interest in our travels or anything. She told us to leave when we were just about finished our breakfast and just talking and sipping our tea, because she said more people were coming for brea...

We rented room 6 which is the apartment with kitchen. It was nice to have plenty of room since our son and his family dropped by once or twice and the grandson spent the night. We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed very well outfitted. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. Only a couple of things to inform other travelers for their considera...

Great hotel with excellent customer service and a great view of the city skyline. Fitness center was well-equipped with free weights, weight machines, cardio machines, space for yoga, and a pool with lap lanes. We didn't know it at the time, but staying in North Vancouver turned out to be a great option for us rather than in Vancouver proper. North Vancouver seemed a l...

The Opus was a great choice for location and proximity to most things! The staff were amazing, and "Ivy" was most helpful! LOVED the heathed bathroom floor. The only thing we would comment on is the size of rooms, and bathroom set up. But they aren't really in the power to change that! Great stay! Thanks guys!

THE HOTEL IS OF A LONG HISTORY AND UNDER PARTIAL RENOVATION AT THE TIME WHEN I WAS STAYING. BUT OVERALL IT IS OF GOOD LOCATION AND GOOD SERVICE. RECOMMEND FOR THE PRICE VALUE TOO. NOT ONLY TWO BLOCKS FROM THE METRO STATION, BUT THERE ARE A FEW BUS STOPS ON THE STREET RIGHT OUTSIDE THE LOBBY TOO. AND IT IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE ART GALLERY OF VANCOUVER.
Traveler impressions of Vancouver (BC)
Safe and pleasant walking city. Convenient to food and shopping. Great views at bay side, harbour area,
Very cosmopolitan city. Food, people, transportation around the city, shopping, relaxation, fun, activities.
Overall, Vancouver has to be one of Canada's most exciting cities of all time and one that I enjoy the most.
Vancouver is one of the best places to go for a mini-vacation. There's 24/7 bakeries, fusion asian-western food that is sometimes even better than the original, and so many clubs you'll definitely find something that is your style.
Visit Granville Island, Stanley park, take a free shuttle bus from Canada Place to the Catalina swinging bridge (not for wheelchairs or people with balance problems) ,Grouse mountain ( a free shuttle bus leaves from Canada place), Stanley park including the Aquarium for young and not so young, here you have so many choices including a beach area, totem poles.
Vancouver is a great city. Very clean, lots of fun things to do for all travellers. Great options for food an drink!
One of the friendliest cities I've ever visited. Easy to get around, and plenty to see and do. If you're a first time visitor and you're not sure what to do, drop in to the visitor information centre at Canada Place.
Comparing to the state, it's not a good idea to do shopping here as stuffs are more or less the same as what we can find in the state, yet, the price is much higher.
It is a nice city. Good parks and attractions. Food is good and so is shopping and entertainment. Relatively nearby.
A beautiful city, lots of activities to get yourself into! I loved exploring it. Its not the cheapest for nightlife, nor the most exciting.
Great city, easy to get around, traffic not a problem, easy to find parking. Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, UBC area and Granville Island market and stores great places to visit.
one of the best places i have arrived in my travels, was sorry to leave. wonderful city. will definitely come back with my family to enjoy!
Wow, what a lovely, clean and well laid out city. The people are very polite and genuinely friendly.
Vancouver is the ultimate city - friendly locals, safe & clean, smoke-free and green-minded, great places to eat, shop and visit, all surrounded by parks, ocean and magnificent mountains!
Vancouver is a very friendly vibrant city. Perhaps plan to spend 3-5 nights here as there is plenty to do during the day such as Stanley park, the markets and Canada Place.
Vancouver is a melting pot of different races hence the abundance of authentic local dishes such as Chinese food, Japanese food, korean food, malaysian food, etc.
I would suggest to rent a bike or walk in downtown Vancouver to see Stanley Park, Gastown , Chinatown and main street will be great
A city with a little bit of everything. Very multi-cultural, with any kind of cuisine you could possibly crave.
It is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited in the 35 countries, I have traveled. Many attractions, events, or just relaxing in the parks or on the beach.
Vancouver is beautiful. My family and I love to spend time outdoor walking or cycling around the city and parks.
A great city! The people really make it special as they are so friendly and helpful (it probably helped that I'm English as they love the monarchy!).
Coming into Vancouver on the train from Seattle we were not impressed and felt we'd made a huge mistake in coming here.
"Everyone in Vancouver is a tour guide" is what we were told by a young woman who helped us find our way to Granville Island.
Vancouver has a lot to offer especially so that it's a melting pot of different cultures. The local Rest.
As Vancouver is a relatively young city by European standards, there is not much to see from an historical point of view (our opinion entirely).
It has a lot of hidden gems like the Marine building, Holy Rosary Cathedral, Public Library. All great architecture spots to marvel at.
Truly love visiting Vancouver. Great restaurants, good city to walk in, good shopping, friendly people, great hotels.
Vancouver is a place where you can relax your body and mind. Slow down your pacing and breath the fresh air.
I have visited Vancouver 3 times in my life. Actually I live in Vancouver right now. I love this city because we can enjoy anything I want to eat, also we can try many night clubs if you like.
it's a city. very quite on the street, not much people, not interesting place for shopping. but if you want relax, it's good city as nit busy at all.

This was a beautiful hotel!. My husband and I stayed one night planning on boarding a Princess cruise ship the next morning. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the view was breathtaking! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with any reason for their stay.

More about Vancouver (BC)
An old-world British ambiance clings to South Granville, despite the fact that it slumped into industrialism for a while. The government injected Granville Island with some much-needed capital a few years ago, and the entire district has blossomed into a quaint commercial area rife with English pubs, craft boutiques, open-air markets and some of the best hotels in Vancouver.
Most of the accommodation in Vancouver is located in the greater downtown district. Guests based in this area enjoy easy access to Vancouver's hippest clubs, cafés, and lounges. Vancouver may be small by big-city standards, but it still has plenty to offer on the cosmopolitan front from cultural institutes like the Museum of Anthropology to Chinatown. Vancouver also has a fantastic shopping scene that includes large malls and exotic, ethnic marketplaces.
It cannot be denied that Vancouver's true power to move visitors is rooted in the outdoors. Every winter, skiers parade through Vancouver as a last stop on their way to Whistler. Nearby, Grouse Mountain operates a cable car and can be skied in the winter or hiked in the summer. Other summertime activities include mountain biking, beach combing, kayaking, and golfing.
The fastest way into the city is via Vancouver International Airport. Be sure to check out the interactive map of Vancouver for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
