The location is at town center, 4 mins from the ferry port, shops and restaurants just nearby. Beds are simple, but has privacy. There is a place for dinning and ice cube and tap water. Check in advance and let us have shower after check out are very helpful. They also have a restaurant sell Zamami burger and homemade pizza.

Firstly, apologies to the owner as we have not been good guests. Owner greeted us at the port and settled all the paperwork and payment before taking us to our room. It's true they do not provide free towels and accepts payment in cash only. We stayed at the annex, got a room with attached bathroom. It was quite nice and clean. Comfortable smoking area right outside. F...

I was immediately welcomed from the owners. They were very kind and spoke some English. I felt welcome. The room was great. It has its own bathroom and balcony to hang clothes. It was perfect. I highly recommend this place. I would stay here again. I gave everything five stars except facilities a four star only because there is no stove to cook. But that’s everywhere...

The location of this property is ideal -- less than a 5 minute walk from the port, right across the street from one beach, and next to a number of cafes and a small store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English well and helped us in numerous ways. As is the case with most accommodations in Japan, the lodging cost is per person, so that adds up qui...

My stay was enjoyable. The pickup and drop off service from the Zamami Wharf is wonderful. The female proprietor is very outgoing and while she says she only speaks a little English she does just fine with communicating. I did not take advantage of the offered (extra fee) breakfast and dinner, so I cannot comment on the food. There are self-catering facilities in the s...

There were no in room or other amenities. Tiny room with no storage or anything else. Toilets and shower were shared outside, as was wash basin. THe people and food and location were fine but at the price I expected more. Even have to pay 200 yen for each towel!!!!!

Aka Island is a little gem tucked away in the far south of Japan. Away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, and the tour groups of Okinawa main island, Aka is its own little gem. The accommodation was better then what we had in the main cities, and the supplied breakfast & dinner was absolutely divine. Six dishes each night, varied every night. Our host went out o...

I stayed only one night but wished to stay longer. Big room, very nice view and the staff made me feel like home. They have a free shuttle bus service from the port and main beaches. Do remember to let the property know the time of your arrival so they can pick you up at the port. Great stay!
