I am not usually one who writes recommendations about hotel but the Teatro Boutique Hotel in Baku has to be the exception, Searching he various Web Sites Agoda flashed up the Teatro - a Cosy Boutique hotel with all the comfort of home except for the dog wanting a walk and the wife wanting to go shopping. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel and plan to return again in the New Year ( EU Project Mission). Rooms very comfortable, lovely clean bathrooms, Excellent Breakfast Feast and nice ambience in the Fifth Floor Restaurant. But more importantly good staff make a hotel and this is where the Teatro really exceeded 15 out of 10. They were the MOST HELPFUL and friendly staff in any hotel I have stayed. Although not right in the City Centre (where we were working the USD $5 per trip was worth it to be comfortable. Easy to get taxis including London style Black Cabs. Nothing too much for the Hotel Management & Staff. If you want Value for Money - Choose Teatro. If you want Comfort and a really lovely atmosphere choose Teatro. I'll Be Back... I had a problem. I booked room with agoda 4 rooms for three nights and paid online all the charges were paid tax also but at the time of check out on fourth day hotel said to pay city tax per person per day around 1.60 Mannat. They charged me total 30 Mannat but it was not mentioned on agoda. If this has to be charged agoda must inform to its customers while booking. Hotel reception said you have to pay at any cost then I had to pay. Just this problem arised otherwise all was set.

Was in a decent part of the city, not far from the Old City and Fountain square. But street is narrow and a little dark at night.

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to Azerbaijan again, we would definitely stay there again!

It was a wonderful short stay in Stay inn Baku hostel. People were very humble and all the facility was neat and clean. There was no disturbance at all from anyone. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

A/C is not working properly. It is just like a fan. Isolation of wall is terrible! I got shocked when I hear everything which is spoken in my neighbour’s room. I travel every month since 4 years and never experienced bad quality isolation like that before. Trust me it was terrible. Even their breath is hearable. Furniture is old. Breakfast is not good for 4 star hotel. There is no filtered coffee for example. Even 3 star hotels provide it in the breakfast. No fruit. Same meals have been served everyday. There is a bath tub in the room but the cap of it was missing. 2 times they gave wrong caps. It needed to go down 2 times. There was no laundry hanger in my room. When I asked, they provides 3 different pcs which seems like a garbage that other quests left behind. I totally got dissatisfied. They may be nice but management does nothing as I see. Terrible experience for 4 star hotel!

I would give it five stars but the breakfast and the noise you hear from inside the room. Degraded the review.

I really enjoyed my stay in Baku. Hotel is about 5 Min walk from the metro. every day it became shorter as you will find shortcuts. Staff were friendly and I appreciated the fact that they tried to communicate in English. Definitely stay here again. The room is very old - needs a serious revamp. carpets are not great as it has hair all over but one could see that it was clean. Room was facing the street but it was not noisy. All in all Well Done. See you again.

We stayed at Sheki Palace for 1 night on our way from Baku to Tbilisi. The hotel is fairly central, close to the Khan Palace (around a 10 min walk) and the town centre (around a 20-25 min walk). The hotel was clean, staff were nice and breakfast selection was good, all for a reasonable price. If i visited Sheki again i would stay here again

Hotel is Not a 2 Star or 3 Star you can simply compare with only economy Hotel & low quality Break fast over all location is better

good rooms , good internet,location downtown very easy and close to every where and real value for money and helpfull staff alsp

best location to stay in Baku. we have stayed in multiple properties around Baku and I have to say even the 5 star hotels we stayed is no match to this. exceptional location in Baku old town, close to almost everything, including good restaurants, sights and beach area. excellent customer service, you could buy a sim card in hotel and use Uber.. street and airport taxi is a scam in Baku but Uber is very cheap and reliable. rooms are clean, well maintained, good breakfast in rooftop with flame tower view.. close your eyes and book this property..

If you do not want to be in the middle of the city but want the best value for money then this is the place to be. Good restaurant, outdoor pool, grassed outdoor area for kids to play and a great seaview from all room. Just make sure you have your own car for transport purposes.

Staff....All very helpful and welcoming. Front desk staff mostly English Speaking. Nothing was too much trouble. Deluxe double bedroom with Street view.....very spacious, clean with aircon. Juliet balcony overlooking a quiet street. Restaurant....Airy bright and spacious roof terrace restaurant , with great views. Breakfast....Buffet style with hot and cold choices mainly local breakfast dishes. Perfectly adequate.

Its a walking distance from the old town & fountain square, break fast is fine, staff is friendly, booked gabala tour from them for a good price, its a recommended hotel as value for money plus less hassle to deal with taxi drivers.

I like all the stuff except one guy in the reception who is fat - needs more how talk and smile on the faces- otherwise, everything is great with respect of missing th facilities in the hotel.

Superb place if you like being right in nature away from crowds and up to a relaxing time. The staff is amazing and so helpful, they arrange taxis and day trips for you if you need and also the food in the restaurant was very nice. I would love to come back to Sheki Park during the summer and enjoy the pool outside.

Excellent property at good location. Staff very helpful and we didn't seem to have any language issue because of the English speaking staff. Intention is always to relax and help their guests in whatever way they can. They even allowed to use their kitchen when we wanted to have some Indian dish and later they learned from us and prepared for us.

I stayed at The East Legend Panorama Hotel on my last day in Baku. It is an small upscale property located in a quiet neighborhood away from the city center but is a short walk to the Boulevard. The front desk staff, Farida and Ayden, were very friendly and helpful. The check in and check out process was straightforward and swift, and the staff are alert to serve. They were able to assist in changing my U.S. dollar bills to manats which saved me the time and trouble of going to the bank. For late check out I only paid half of the daily rate which is not possible in other premium hotels. They also printed some documents for me free of charge. I am impressed to find excellent customer service with a personal touch. The room was big enough to move around freely. It comes with a balcony facing the street and overlooking the Caspian Sea. The bed is smaller than standard but it was ok. The bedroom was immaculately clean just like the toilet and bathroom. The linens were fragrant. The LED TV was hardly used because all programs came only in Azeri and Russian. There is an outdoor pool, a sauna, and gym equipped with functional machines, also a table tennis and some boxing gloves which means you will never run out of activity should you decide to just stay inside the hotel. The buffet breakfast is served at the Panorama Restaurant which gives an excellent view of the Caspian Sea and the boulevard. There was a decent selection of food and drinks at the buffet table. Fresh fruits, cereals, bread, pastries and cookies. The lady assigned at the restaurant was alert in refilling the stocks. I think her name is Natasya. Outside the hotel there is a 24/7 money changer shop, stores, supermarts, and a good number of local restaurants. If ever I plan another trip to Baku I will definitely stay once again at the East Legend Panorama Hotel. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a hassle-free holiday and excellent value for money.

It wasn't until I saw other mid-range to lower-end hotels in Baku that I came to appreciate the Safran Hotel. Windows were drafty, some tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and breakfast buffet had no fresh fruit, but overall the Safran delivered: good-sized rooms, comfortable mattress, squeaky clean room, bathroom and common areas, friendly staff eager to help (the sourly breakfast waiter aside), large in-room safe. The location is in a quiet side street but walking distance from Ganclik metro (15 to 20 minutes). For that price I will certainly come again.

I came across this hotel accidentally after a lot of research, as I was looking for hotels within the old town. But finding this hotel was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. Bristol Hotel is located right on the nizami street. Hard Rock Cafe and Starbucks are right outside, and so many restaurants, cafes, money exchange, some shops, all across the street. The street is open till late and is quite crowded all the time. The gate to the old city is one lane away, literally a five minute walk. Ten minutes into the gate and you can find yourself at shrivanshah’s palace museum. And the Baku boulevard (Caspian seaside walk) is also barely five mins away. All at a walking distance. This was the best part for me, because I could walk to the boulevarde at any time of the day to view the gorgeous place. It’s so beautiful at night. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. Had very little variety, but it’s alright. The receptionist and the owner are very helpful.

Everything with this hotel was better than expected. People working in the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. The room furniture is very nice and the breakfast at the restaurant is another nice experience to go through. There are shopping mall , shops and restaurants near the hotel. If you want nice tour guide who can speak English you can contact Amen on +994 55 636 6603 . if you are going to stay 10 days or more ask the hotel to arrange migration letter for you.

The location is good like a 15 mins walking from city center, they don't have gym or pool, anyway staff are good and they are professional even if had little problem with my immigration but they managed to sort it out with a little cost over what is shouldn't be paying, they only thing that i really didn't like is they will charge you money for every visitor that you'll have. but anyway is was good stay and i enjoyed it.

The air conditioning damaged in my room so i told the receptionist and the said we can not do anything and more than that he lied and said there is no ampty room to move to although there are many because I checked in the agoda application So i am not coming to this stupid hotel

Amazing rooms. Clean rooms. Breakfast was very good. Also they have free turkish bath ,steam and sauna. Also spas and massages are available at a price. Staff not at all welcoming; few of them dont even know to smile!!! Property also has very nice swimming pool. Worth for money. Air con was an issue ;i think its in almost all of azerbaijan properties. During winters ac only warms the room but it cant cool the room. Which is not fair since everyones preference is different.

Good place to relax and away from traffic. Rooms are spacious and propwrly fitted. Towel not good as it is too rough. Location can be difficult to find. Restaurant is basic and food not tasty.
