From the minute we were met at Sao Vicente airport I knew our holiday was going to be special. Georgette was the most lovely friendly person I have ever met. Her lovely smiley face welcomed us every morning with an amazing breakfast in the most fantastic apartment. Definitely recommend this lovely accommodation - not only for its host (who took us in her car for a few mystery tours around the island) but also for its fantastic beachside location. Our room was cleaned every day of our 5 day stay and tea/coffee and cake was plentiful. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. FANTASTIC.

20 minutes to the city center Santa Maria. 5 minutes to the beach besides the construction work. Nice staff. No free WiFi. Sometimes to less sun beds at the beach. No drinks or food at the beach avaiable.

Hotel: (-) - poor cleanliness in the bedroom / wc - few restaurants for so many people - poor night shows (never start on-time) - don't have a pool free of kids (adults only) - rules of the pools and beach are not followed and no one from the hotel monitors or does anything (+) - staff (from restaurants, bars, ...) - reasonable food - location - beach People This has nothing to do with the hotel, but most of the people that stay in this hotel are rude and disrespectful - the rules of the hotel are not followed (dress code in restaurants, jumps to the pool, using the pools during the night, parties and noise during the night) - many people using bluetooth speakers at the pools and beach (it's a music mess) - too much noise everywhere (pool, beach, restaurants) This was my second time in the hotel (1st in 2012). I booked the same hotel this year because in 2012 I had a wonderful and relaxed stay. It was definitely not the case this time. Really disappointing.

The hotel is rated as 4 star but providing 3 star facilities and quality. The airport transfer is requested during arrival however no respond from hotel. The housekeeping service in room is not flawless. Always left out replacing the shampoo and soap. The lunch and dinner quality provided is average. The room with sea view is disappointing due to the windows is covered with a layer of dust. Obviously a lot of work need to be done on the sea view room. However, the staff tried to be helpful. The hotel is good for short stay. Doesn't like how the currency exchange is perform with remainder using local currency even guest pay with euro.

basic clean, hotel wih nice breakfast, wifi fast for cape verde, in the middle of the city, attentive staff. just a nice affordable place to stay.

excellent place, so beautiful, very nice big rooms, very quiet, nice hot shower, outside sitting area, on a nice clean beach, very good dinner with fresh fish, i loved this place they really look at details, also they were flexible with the check out time. i wish i had stayed longer.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel, the owners (Samy and Maury) were very friendly right from the first moment, they went for the extra mile. They also gave us useful tips and helped to organize our programs and excursions. Highly recommended.

Not a hotel, an appart'hotel. Way too big for us (couple) but that was cool. Bit out of city center, in new residential area: perfect. Appartment new and modern, with great bathroom and American kitchen. Lady providing the keys was nice and on time, she seems to live upstairs in the building. Very happy with that choice, esp. since we feared noise and a bit of stalking if nearer to center. Was slightly pricy though.

Great loction, clean with everything you need. Staff are helpfull and go out of there way to assist.

Exceptionally clean. Everything worked. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good food. The only place I would stay if I returned to Cabo Verde.

Really good communication. Everything was really easy and we were picked up and taken to the airport for a reasonable 10euro each way. Could be clearer about the location of the apartment and also the extra fees and deposits. Having beach towels was great and really useful but would have been good to this in advance. all other facilities were perfect except for the mattress which was very thin and not comfortable. Great stay overall

Where to start?! First the staff....so genuinely nice, friendly, helpful.... never been to a hotel where the receptionist asks us to let her know that we got back home safely! Cleanliness...exceptional, from the rooms to the gardens and common areas. Lovely swimming pool, beautiful views. Location...walkable distance to Santa Maria and beautiful beaches.. Felt so safe and comfortable...just want to go back! Immense thank you to the wonderful staff!

We were really annoyed that the hotel held two parties on two consecutive days. We were not given prior knowledge these were going to take place. The first started at 3pm and went on to after 8pm all teenagers. Very noisy and they were in the pool which meant we could not use the facilities. The second one was adults the following day this went on until after 9pm. Again in the pool and the restaurant meaning we could not use the restaurant as it was full. The reason we were at the hotel at these times was because my partner was unwell with a cold and the wind had got quite rough we had to come off the beach and as it stayed the same for 4 days we had to spend more time in the hotel. I personally would not want to go back there. I think that the hotel should have told the guests at breakfast that there were parties booked. Very disappointed.
