everything is perfect there as high quality hotel but staffs are not as welcoming and friendly as what I would have expected.

This was probably our best stay in Chile. The location is great. It is in a really nice area full of shops and restaurants, just a block away from the cultural museum and short walk to parks, free walking tours... The apartment was clean with all the amenities. Best towels in Chile. There is both heat and air conditioning in the unit (a lot of places do not have heat or only wood stoves) The staff was always very prompt with all inquiries (almost instantaneas). They were willing to keep our luggage in a secure place after we checked out and arrange for airport pickup. They helped us with our bags up the 4 flights of stairs even when we told them we could handle it. My husband got very sick with a high fever and they let him stay in the apartment till our late night flight for only a small fee which was a lifesaver. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

We had such good experiences from this hotel. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had to cancel out next destination because of the strike happening in argentina. The concierge helped us in arranging our tickets and our hotel transfers. They also has the best location. I would come back to this hotel.

This property is just next door to the subway. THe front desk can help you connect to whichever line to you need./ Close to many museums.

This is a beautiful tiny boutique hotel, extremely clean, beautiful lighting in my room, the rain shower was huge, and breakfast was very satisfying. The location next to the Fine Arts Museum is great: it's very close to Lastarria, a wonderful arts/restaurant neighborhood, and one morning I walked across the river and climbed San Cristobal Hill. The staff were always friendly and very helpful, especially with restaurants. The 50% agoda discount made it very affordable.

the el bosque hotel is very well located in los condes area of santaigo.many money exchange stores around the corner of the hotel and afex had the best exchange rate. first visit with my wife to santaigo, chile and we had a great time. very friendly people in santaigo great food in local areas (not tourist areas). best overall breakfast, for all the hotels we stayed on our trip to chile, argentina and uruguay.

Everything was perfect at this hotel, from its location to its excellent service and great restaurant. It's in a quiet side street, just off busy Av Providencia in the lovely suburb of Providencia, close to shops, a bank (where I withdrew Chilean pesos using my Australian debit card), restaurants, attractive homes and the delightful Metropolitan Park and San Cristobal hill over the other side of the Mapocho River. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful and spoke good English, some perfectly and accentlessly. My room was spacious and modern and the bathroom very well appointed. The shower was very good. The hotel has an attractive modern decor. Apart from the excellent and varied breakfasts (including custom-cooked omelettes - a rarity at the hotels I stayed at in South America), dinners were superb and offered a variety of typical Chilean cuisine as well as more conventional dishes such as risottos and pastas. Every meal I had was high quality and the service was faultless. Breakfast was included in my very reasonable tariff. The suburb of Providencia, where the hotel is located, is quite an up-market area and I really enjoyed strolling the lovely surrounding streets, particularly over the other side of the Mapocho River, about 5 minutes walk away. I had frequent stunning views of the Andes in the background of lovely leafy streets and attractive houses. The area is about 4 km from the Plaza de Armas, the 'centre' of Santiago. Providencia seems to be one of the main hotel areas, with Sheraton, Hyatt and other high-end hotels close by. Overall I loved staying at the Solace Hotel and in this area and would be very happy to stay there again next time I'm in Santiago. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This hotel is an excellent choice for stop-over hotel; It is not until you stay at other Chile and Peru hotels that you realise the Diego De Almagro offers great accommodation with much more space and features than higher star hotels offer. Staff at reception, restaurant & bar are all very nice and helpful. Everything seems possible and nothing is too much trouble. Around the corner from reception there are 3 computers with printers connected for free printing - I used it to print out flight tickets and boarding passes. Restaurant is real homely and buffet breakfast was good; if you are lucky you may even get a fresh capuchino if the machine is switched on :) As we had a midnight flight departure I used the garden loungers in large lawns area near lovely pools to soak up the sun and peaceful atmosphere for quite a few hours.

Rooms are adequate. Breakfast is simple with little variety. They offer eggs but you might have to go to the kitchen and order. The staff might not attend to you during breakfast. The hot tub runs cold water and that is a pity. They offer you two small bottles of water on arrival for the FIRST day only. Wish they would give water every day of the stay like many other hotels do. There is a disco or some club nearby which plays super loud music right past 2AM. Big disturbance. Try to get rooms 3,4 or 5. These are a little farther away. Otherwise a decent place.

If you're visiting the Torres Del Paine National Park and just want to go for day walks in the park rather than do the extended hikes, then this is a good place to stay. Don't stay in Puerto Natales as the roads into the park are terrible and the roads in the park are worse. It's best to be just nearby so that you can get in and out easily. This is a luxury hotel and while it's expensive, it's worth treating yourself to the luxury. We were in a three bed room on the side facing away from the towers, but it didn't matter as there are plenty of public areas in which to sit and admire the view. My favourite was the bar but you can also sit outside and in other areas. The breakfasts were excellent (as were the lunches prepared at breakfast if you catch my meaning) and the evening buffet meals were also very good. I preferred to eat in the bar where you can order off a menu, although the menu is limited. The bar serves a strong pisco sour as well as many other drinks.

The proprietors are good people to deal with. No problems. Easy for transport, cheap for the location, and reasonably well appointed.

We stayed at the Fauna Hotel for 2 nights during a month-long adventure across Chile. We made our reservation pretty last minute and ended up arriving very late, but the staff (owner I think!) was so nice to let us in and make us feel welcome right away. The location is a little tricky to find for the first time at night, especially if in a car (it's better to ditch the car while you scout), BUT it ends up being a GREAT location n the light of day - basically a stop on all the walking tours! Our room didn't have much of a view, but that's ok because the roof restaurant sure makes up for that. And the room itself felt like a little piece of Valpo with a cool mural in the same style as around the city. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! And everything was spotlessly clean. I wish we could have extended our stay (and we'd love to return!) - this place is a gem. A little piece of Valpo Zen inside Valpo! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Really great location. The property was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and responsive. I'd recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 3 nights- cabin is compact with bed, shower/toilet and wood heater. Good breakfast ( no evening meals - use adjacent hotels). Tea/ coffee available in main house. Power is on twice per day by generator ( more than enough to charge phones etc). Hot water is by gas. Owners Patrick and Sophia are beautiful people - Patrick is very helpful at all times - he helped us in 2 occasions. Sophia is a warm lovely lady who makes you feel at home. Highly recommended

I stayed there only for night hours because I was there for a very busy business trip. The internet speed in the room was not good enough to guarantee good connection through VPN. Room was quite big to be a junior suit room size of a normal hotel. However, room condition was not that of 5 star hotel. Maybe 3-star.. Amenities in the bathroom was that of 2.5 star, and condition of furnitures are that of 3 stars. What I loved is a very comfortable bed, and also hearty breakfast. In summary, Pros: comfortable bed, hearty breakfast, large room Cons: Do not expect 5-star grade facility. Slow in-room internet

We stayed here 7 days for our honeymoon and it was amazing! The place has great views that looks out to the ocean. It was also very clean and hand built by the owner and his son. But the best part of all was the staff, from the owner Jerom to our local guide Natalie, they were extremely friendly and we got along so well with them to the point that we would share wine and cheese plates on the balcony while enjoying the sunset and sharing stories with each other. They helped us get the best prices for rentals (lower than advertised in town) and completely tailored day trips to whatever we needed. This place goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. Definitely highly recommended!

Was a larger property than I realized with an attached casino. Location was excellent and our balcony provided a gorgeous view of the port and water. Quick walk to all major city attractions. Chicharro beach was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Andres and his team run a welcoming and comfortable boutique hotel in the Providencia. Located near the Manuel Montt metro station or easy walking distance from the historical centre of Santiago , the bohemian restaurant precinct of Bellavista or San Cristobal hill to get the best views of the city with the back drop of the Andes. The room was quiet, well fitted with an ensuite plus the bed was very comfortable. We were traveling with a few articles of luggage hence had to strategically had to place it in the room to avoid tripping over it but it was manageable. The breakfast didn't have a vast selection but more than adequate. It was well prepared and fresh with an assortment of cereals, yoghurts, breads and fruit. The staff kept close vigilance to ensure the coffee was always warm and the servery was kept replenished. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, they are great ambassadors for Santiago willing to share tips on how best explore the city and give general information.

Booking through Agoda got us a discount on the hotel rack rate - great, this is a 5* hotel in Providencia about a 5 min walk from Avenida Providencia - the main route into central Santiago. Hotel very smart with a doorman and everything. Room very reasonable size - huge bed and plenty of space. Really nice shower. Breakfast included was great, brilliant fruit selection, breads, pastries and cooked items. Very helpful staff and concierge. Book a taxi at transvip desk in airport to get here and then hotel booked us one back at 3am for early morning flight cost $CLP 21000 so good rate for that time in the morning. Didn't check out the pool or health spa but if anything like rest of hotel would have been really nice. Ratings only apply based on the discount agoda rate. If you had to pay full whack for this things might be different.
