I loved the look of this hotel from the start but there had been a couple of negative comments on Tripadviser! So glad I ignored them as stunning hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11.00am and they kindly checked us in early! The spa was spectacular, perfect relaxation after a day walking (def worth the €12) we are English and I had read about the nudetity in saunas in Germany so we were not shocked but if you're prewarned a little easier to deal with if you're English!! Location excellent with subway right outside to get you anywhere you wish.

At first we were a little hesitant about the hotel as the hallways looked dark and dated and could use a coat of fresh paint. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was good. While it was not right in the middle of the crowds, it was only 10-15 minute walk away from all major attractions (Marienplatz, cathedrals, open air market) AND from the best beer garden in Munich (Augustiner-Keller, Arnulfstraße 52, 80335 München, Germany) :)

Dear Sir/Madam I have recently stayed at the Novum Hotel in Munich Am Hauptbahnhof from 8 July 2017 - 18 July 2017. I stayed there with my girlfriend in one of the comfort double rooms. I am pleased to say that we enjoyed our time there so much. The hotel room was absolutely beautiful and the view was stunning. The central location allowed us so much freedom and the staff were very accommodating. The buffet breakfast is the best by far and our room was very well kept for the duration of our stay by the hotel staff. The only slight problem is that we were initially given a smaller double room that I hadn't booked. The staff rectified the problem as soon as they could and we received complimentary breakfast for that oversight on their part. The way in which they handled that was utterly professional. I can recommend this hotel for all, especially the comfort double room as the price was very reasonable and the room was fantastic! All the best, Johann

Firstly, let me start with a small disappointment. The curtain in my room (#305) was defect and had shoe marks all over. That kind of marred a perfect score if I were to rate this hotel. The other was the inconsistency in the toilettries where some days they were replenished and anothe day-not. Now back to the positives- 1) the room was neat and new with a wonderful view of the street; 2) the interior and furnishing were fairly modern; equipped with a Samsung tablet for guidance on the hotel's offerings; 3) breakfast (if purchased with the room) was really pleasant and adequate; not too much nor too little in terms of variety and scrumptious. The servers were also very attentive ensuring my coffee and water was ready as soon as I sat down-amazing!; 4) location-superb; near top shopping malls and if you needed a taxi, easily obtainable; 5) best of all- the staff were world class. I have stayed in well known hotels and the personnel at the Titanic Deluxe (fr the concierge to the reception, to the waiter/waitress, manager and even the chambermaids/cleaners) were all exceptional in character. The one other hotel that was close was a well known one in Hong Kong. Everyone I met there was so willing to help, was courteous, patient and went all the way in ensuring my stay was a pleasant and memorable one. My luggage unfortunately did not make it to Berlin the same day I arrived but 3 days later. The staff at Titanic Deluxe made such an effort to stay on hold with the airlines everyday to find out the status of my luggage. When it arrived, it was whisked straight to my room. I noticed the hotel is also extremely sensitive towards the needs of the physically challenged or aged. So I will recommend this place for those having a need for wheelchair access and handrails, etc. Well, suffice to say, I will definitely consider staying here again in future. It certainly felt like home away from home for me.

We booked this hotel last minute when we accidentally reached Munich Station instead of Fussen (we missed to alight at the correct station). The hotel is practically 3-min walk from Munchen (Munich) Central Station and you could not ask for more. Although we felt our lives where in danger as soon as we came out of the train station coz most of the people outside (well that was past 11PM) were drinking and there were patrol cars all over. That was normal- we were told. The manager asked our location and informed me that his colleague will fetch us, unfortunately we couldnt wait and just booked a cab to send us to the place which is just 200-m away. I regret. Breakfast was great (dining staff were all nice and professional) we had no expectations but the hotel made us happy at little cost (btw our breakfast was free for the whole stay thanks to the generous hotel manager)

Overall I was pleased with this hotel. It is in a good, central location, across from Wittenbergplatz U-bahn, and had adequate facilities for a 3-star hotel, including a bar, free wi-fi and clean, spacious rooms. Maybe the décor of the rooms could be updated but I was happy for the price I paid for 2 nights. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There was just one thing I did not like. I thought I had read on the hotel's website that tea and coffee making facilities were provided, and assumed this meant in the room. However, on finding no kettle, I asked to borrow one but staff informed me that I would have to pay €5 a night! They said they could provide boiling water for 50 cents which I did for the first night, but decided to pay the €5 on the second night. If you like making hot drinks in your room and decide to stay at this hotel, I advise you to bring your own travel kettle. I wish I had! I noticed they also charge to look after your luggage on departure day!

I stayed 3 months in Europe from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Rep. and Switzerland. I have been experienced more then 40 different hotels during 3 months and only 2 hotels (one in Paris and the other one is this hotel) gave me unforgettable service and experiences. Some staffs were caught by me not returning whole cash deposit back and some More specifically, J. Adhikari greets us when we check in. She was super fluent in check in process and she listened us and solved all our concerns. Since we stayed more then 4 days, we could meet her in front of elevator one more time by chance. As she remembered us and chat with cute smile, we felt really warm and welcomed by the hotel and even by Germany. I know for sure, what customers remember the most is hotelier's kind welcome after all. Thank you Adhikari!! You are a true private diplomat and a true jam of Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz.

My stay was enjoyable, close to everything however rooms are a bit small as is the bathroom. No safe in the room, though you don't need it as Germany felt so safe!

The only con of the hotel is the slightly far-out location in West Germany near the zoo. But it's 5-mins from 2 metro stations, and in Berlin you can get anywhere on the metro! So that's not too big a problem. Everything else is wonderful from the very friendly staff, free internet at lobby, wonderfully designed rooms w surround sound in the ceiling of the room!! You can bring any device and connect it to the TV. Rocks.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The hotel room was superbly size, we love the high ceilings and the colour combination. The amenities in the room was good and everything was modern and clean. The shoe cleaning machine was a nice touch. Location wise it was just a 5 to 10 minutes walk from either 2 of the nearest metro station which can bring you to central berlin in no time. The location is actually a huge advantage as it allows us to visit most attractions in berlin easily with the 2 lines there. Wifi was a bit dodgy, sometimes fast and sometimes slow and the system to login is slightly irritating, would have been good to just have a password for auto login everytime you are in the hotel. But we manage to make do with it so there shouldn't be any problems for others. Staff was professional and manage to speak decent english. Accomodated to our requests well for a water boiler and to print our travel documents. Could have done with more smiles though. Overall we love the hotel a lot and we would definitely stay here again at the same value if we visit Berlin again. I would say 4 star is slightly underrated, I would give this hotel 4.5 star.

The largest hotel in Germany and it's a place for organizing conferences. It's not for tourist as it's located far from the city center but it's a very good choice if there are conference at this hotel or some events happening in the east side of Berlin.

We visited here during Oktoberfest specifically because of its proximity to the event. The area directly surrounding the hotel is 4/5 stars and I only say that because it seemed to have a few business that seemed less than ideal. However, the hotel was fantastic and while the room was small it was very clean and updated. We stayed on the top floor and I would recommend that to anyone in the future. The lift is slow and small but manageable. The hotel also took our baggage and held it while we went to the Oktoberfest tents. The staff was friendly and accomodating.

i stayed at angleterre for the full 12 nights while in berlin. i was given exactly what i was expecting, clean room (smoking) which allowed me a check in time at 3pm which was okay. decent windows in the room for good ventilation. the television has all the free/cable channels when i felt bored. housekeeping is efficient and supplies replenished every day. the only thing that bothered me at certain times, was the slight odour emitting from the bathroom, not so much a big deal as shutting the door kept it in (i guess to get it fixed, the room will have to be vacated for major plumbing works and it was bearable and i was only in the room in the evenings, so no big complains about it)- the best thing i like of the hotel is, its just opposite or adjacent to coffee shops for breakfast, lunch & dinners for very affordable prices. convenience shops are just adjacent for train tickets, also a 2nd-hand shop nearby for more affordable materials i.e garments/books etc.

Loved my stay there. Everything was great, cleanness, location....There is no a con side really...,just to mention that I missed most the coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Lately many hotels are having them, and I have become accustomed to the convenience....The management should consider them....I would mention a couple of other things that I was surprised, not bothered, I consider them not important, but the management might want to have a look into them : Some of the channels on the TV did not work good , not even the INFO channel....(in the center of Berlin, wow???/!!). ,,,there is a lack of information about the hotel in the room (only room service)., and the amount of toiletries... is surprisingly minimal for a 5 star hotel. I would consider Bristol next time I plan a trip to Berlin.

I stayed at this Hotel for One night. The value of my experience for the money I spent for a single room was excellent. The room was really tiny but it was fine for a shower and a sleep, which was the initial purpose of booking it anyways, so I didn't bother. The room itself was really clean (especially the bathroom was amazing) and comfortable. As a solo traveler, first time in Munich, the location was IDEAL as I was super close to HBF central metro station and I had access everywhere. The best words also go for the staff, everyone I interacted with was really helpful and polite, they fixed my check in time so I wouldn't have to wait an entire day outdoors due to my early arrival and they were also on point when I asked about a "wake-up service" for my departure the following morning. If you are interested in a quality place to sleep during your visit in Munich and invest the largest percentage of your budget on other activities this is the place to go!

Wonderful would totally recommend this accommodation. The only negatives were the door Frames are low and my tall son hit his head. The shower is very narrow and the shower head is on an odd angle. That being said the water is hot and you can make do. We found the rest of the apartment fabulous value for money with great facilities. We cooked a couple of meals there in our 4 days stay. Another fry pan of a larger one would be handy. Pillows average but they were the same everywhere we stayed in Germany. Beds comfy. Coffee table badly stained. Location is absolutely brilliant. Plenty of room inside spacious for 3 adults could fit 4 very comfortably. Very private. We loved it there and would definitely stay again .

the service with a smile, condusive and i am very like the toilet of hotel. for my experience to germany, i think this hotel have a great location. the location very close with frankfurt station and nearest the shops especially kebab shop. but one more thing, i would like to suggest why not the hotel put the arrow of the kiblat (for muslim pray). if they do it, the hotel very lovely, great and excellent. although the hotel have a small room but it very comportable and i am really like it this hotel. the hotel also very clean, and always good condition. i really satisfied this hotel. thank you.

The hotel has everything beyond a standard 4 star hotels in Germany: friendly front desk staff, helpful concierge, lovely and stylish room with air-conditioning, free wifi (all day) , safe, tea & coffee facility, hair dryer....and more. We stayed at many 4* hotels in germany and other countries, this was definately one of the best we have stayed so far. Ver good location, you might think i am lying here as the hotel ia not right in the city centre. I can tell you from my experience, it is definately better stay anywhere near a tram station...especially in summer. Underground in berlin has no air-conditioning and signs are pretty useless, i got lost so many times; tram is more comfortable, has air-con, stations were easy to find. Anyway, highly recommend this hotel to any travellers!!

The location was excellent with easy access from the airport and then to travel in Berlin. Staff were friendly and informed. Best breakfast that takes you through lunch as well. There are a lot of rooms in the hotel so it was a long walk from the lift but not a problem. Will be back when in Berlin next time.

To wake up, I really love to make a cup of coffee before going to the breakfast buffet. In this hotel you have a Nespresso machine in the room. Perfect, fresh coffee every time! And, of course, new capsules every day. Connected to the rather big TV, an excellent sound system that even has a sub woofer. A perfect beginning of the day! We didn't need it as we just opened the windows, but there's air conditioning. Not many hotels have that in Germany. Can be nice on a hot day. U-Bahn (subway) is just a five minutes walk away. Bus 100 stops in front of the hotel and brings you directly to the main attractions with a very cheap ticket. Very nice beds and a 5-star worth bathroom – we'll book this hotel again when in Berlin!

This was easily one of the best apartment hotels I had the pleasure of staying in while traveling through Germany. Its location near the mall made it easy to go shopping, though it was a little further away from public transportation to access the rest of the city. The staff was quite helpful, though there were a few times when a request was forgotten or arrived much later than expected. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I only hope that construction that was taking place when I visited will be finished by then.

Friendly and helpful staff. Obliged us with early check in and assisted us with printing of tour documents. Nice and clean hotel in a good location, with nice breakfast. Highly recommended. But would not book through Agoda again as the currency exchange rate is highly unreasonable, especially compared to the initial publicized indicative rate

When I booked this hotel a few months before my 3 night stay in December 2016, I found the best deal to be on Agoda. The reviews on TA looked to be fairly good so I was expecting a stress-free stay and that's what I got. I had booked a Exclusive Double Room and had requested a room on a high floor as the hotel is near a busy road - this request was honoured and the room was silent! Upon arrival the staff were quick checking me and my partner in, and they spoke very good English, informing us of the nearest supermarket to go to etc. The room was immaculate and huge. The ensuite even had a bath. Everyday the room would get made up promptly to a high standard. In terms of location the hotel is located fairly well to get to all the tourist points of interest. Checkpoint Charlie is a few minutes walk as is the nearest U-Bahn. If you are arriving from Berlin Schönefeld Airport, Simply get the RE14 to Berlin Friedrichstraße station (€3.30 single ticket) and the hotel is around a 15 minute walk through the trendy Gendarmenmarkt district. There are plenty of restraunts nearby, and if you want to go further away to eat, the subway system in Berlin is really cost-effective and simple to navigate. When we checked-out at the end of our stay, the lobby were more than happy to keep our bags behind the bar for the day whilst we were out exploring. Just be aware that the basic rooms are incredibly small, some of the photos on the website don't quite show this. I peered through a "Queen Room" door as the housekeeping team were in there, and it was tiny.

I had an excellent experience with the hotel and it is very much dependent on which front desk officer receives you at the point of check-in and check-out. We had a very nice lady at check-in which took efforts to help us locate a room of our preference - twin bed instead of double. At check-out, it was a disaster, the trainee at the reception did not bother to ask for my preference to pay in EUR or my own currency and just assume to that I will pay in my own currency resulting in an additional 3% dynamic currency exchange rate being slapped onto my payment, I told her to void this transaction as I want to pay in EUR, she told me it is not possible, and she will have to call the bank and on top of that says that the Machine has automatically processed my payment in my currency. I find her extremely ignorant because every credit card transaction can be voided via the same machine. And she had pressed on something in yellow to allow the payment to be processed in my currency, her colleague then said something to her, and suddenly she knows how to void the transaction. But unfortunately expensive bills she put onto my card is on hold and had used up my credit limit on this card. What angers me the most is because of this, she couldn't process my payment in EUR, and she was very arrogant and said: "Look, I tried and you can't pay in EUR." I really like Hotel Nikko and hope you can train your trainees better.

Stayed for 1 night, paid just EUR40 for a relatively last-minute booking. Location to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof was a priority so didn't have any other high level of expectations (given also the price); and for the price I paid, this is as best as it can get in central Frankfurt :) 3-min walk from the train station. Room was clean, not too cramped .. staff were efficient and polite, though they didn't exude the "warmth" that I've been so used to in many other hotels. But not an issue, really, considering that they're somewhat weary of handling many transient guests just making a brisk night stop in Frankfurt. Hotel was about 2 blocks away from the red-light Moselstrasse district. Didn't feel unsafe walking back to my hotel at night, then again I was accompanied by my German friends. Overall, totally unbeatable value for this hotel!

The style of the hotel is great and cool,quite like the small balcony with the table and chair.Welcoming drink on the table which is quite thoughtful.3mins walk to the subway station,quite convenient.Reception service is also good.they helped us to fill in the hot water.but no kettle in the room,maybe most of the hotels in Germany don't equip with kettles.If they do,that'll be much nicer as guests will feel even warmer if they can make tea in the room in cold winter.

Traveling from the United States to Germany for the first time after 38 years of marriage, we were excited but apprenhensive. We looked on line for many hotels, but continually came back to Hotel Erzgriesserei. We couldn't have been happier with this decision. We did not want a hotel that was by the main train station, we didn't want a hotel by Tourist Attractions. But we wanted one where we could have a 5 minute walk to catch the ubahn or sbahn and get to those attractions. The location of this hotel fit these requirements. This hotel was in a quiet neighborhood/corporate/business area, too which allowed us to have a quiet night sleep. All the men and women who are employees at this hotel were kind, helpful, welcoming and went out of their way to assure us a nice stay. Answered our questions, helped us with some directions and had a smile on their faces whenever we saw them. There is a nice restaurant on site, but it was rarely visited during our stay. The waitress was extremely nice on the one night we stopped to have a dessert and a glass of wine. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding. Served hot and fresh. Very clean glassware, chinaware, and linens. We found San Benno Italian Restaurant, which is right around the corner wonderful too. As well, there is a biergarten about a 10 minute easy walk from Hotel Erzgiesserei. The only reason we gave less than 5 stars on the facilities section is that we wished there would have been area to pick up a newspaper, bottled water, etc. Please note, the hotel is in the midst of refurbishing rooms. Ours was not one of the updated ones. However it was quite large and allowed us to get around comfortably inside. If you decide to stay tbere, and you need a walk in ahower, please request one. We were a group of 6 ladies visiting the Berlin to enjoy the Christmas Markets. Booked this hotel based primarily on location and price. We weren't too bothered about the quality of the hotel as it was just a place to sleep. However, we found The Weinmeister to be extremely comfortable and it has a slightly quirky feel to it, with designer beds and oversized wing back chairs in the bar and reception area. It is very well placed for getting around with 2 underground stations within walking distance, and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from as well. I didn't give the full 5 stars for quality of staff because of one person who was extremely unhelpful and sullen with different people in our party on a number of occasions. Other than that everyone else was lovely. Breakfast at 18€ is too expensive, go to a nearby bakery/cafe.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the King's Hotel. The hotel is very clean and convenient to the train station and the bus tour staging areas. Many places to eat are nearby. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, but for 18 Euros it should have had potatoes (hey, we're in Germany, we have to have potatoes with breakfast). The staff were friendly.

friend of mine sugesting the hotel for me to stay, when i was arrived to the hotel, well i am a litte bit surprised, from the outside it looked like an old architectures with historical time line, but when i entered the place... wow it was beyond of my imagine, so modern. it was so nice to be there, because it felt like lived between two different moment, past and current time. came accross in my mind, someday if i return again, i will take my family to stay there, let them feel what i felt, sharing best moments i had before.
